I wanted to love Flovia because the concept is excellent, but my experience was extremely disappointing.
I spent over 24 hours producing a single music video, and a large amount of my credits were wasted because the platform repeatedly ignored established production decisions.
The project was originally estimated to require approximately 6,000 credits. Instead, I ended up spending more than 27,000 credits, with many of those additional credits consumed by unnecessary regenerations caused by the issues described below.
The biggest issue wasn't that AI sometimes makes mistakes—I understand that. The problem was that Flovia repeatedly failed to follow reference images, approved assets, and the "Hard Rules" that had already been established. My main character would suddenly change appearance, clothing, accessories, and even skin tone. The hero vehicle changed size, proportions, and position between scenes. Approved environments were recreated incorrectly, and locked reference images were treated as if they were only suggestions.
Even more frustrating, the platform sometimes modified my timeline without my approval and inserted completely unrelated clips into the project. This resulted in additional regenerations that consumed even more credits.
When I contacted support, I received a generic explanation that AI is probabilistic and that iteration is part of the creative process. While I agree that some iteration is expected, repeatedly ignoring approved references and production rules is not the same as normal AI variation. Those issues cost me time, money, and a significant amount of unnecessary credits.
Flovia has a lot of potential, but in its current state I cannot recommend it for large or professional projects where consistency matters. Until the platform can reliably respect locked references, production rules, and completed work, users should be prepared for significant extra costs in both time and credits.
