I bought a Gladiator NXT flightstick a while ago and wanted to drop a review telling everybody how great the quality is and how easy it is to set up.

The flightstick has great build quality and handles like a dream. All you need to do on delivery is insert the stick into the base and tighten a few screws. Plenty of springs are included so you can customise the level of hardness in handling the flightstick.

I bought the premium version of the flightstick and it was WELL worth the price. I know where I will get my future flightsticks from.

I purchased a Gunfighter joystick and an STCS mini plus. One of the CAMs installed on the Gunfighter is defective. It was manufactured inaccurately. I never received any response to several emails regarding the complaint. Even with products from China, one should be able to expect customer service and complaint handling, especially when they are so expensive. I cannot recommend VKB and will steer clear of this company in the future.

Quality products, fast shipping, awesome service! The VKB guys are the best!

I've read the Trustpilot reviews, was doubting. Wrote to the VKB support, they replied within an hour! Then I proceed to order the joysticks and they were shipped next day, I received them the day after (in Netherlands). So, the experience is great, the support is fast and precise, the joysticks are amazing!

By the way, I paid via PayPal, because it is the fastest method for VKB (bank transfer takes several days and credit card via PayPal (without PayPal account) doesn't sound too secure to me.

They aren’t the best. The products are nice, but there are a lot of limitations that aren’t written about which is why this review is only 3 stars. I bought the STECS Max and the Gladiator around 2 months ago. It took them more than 2 weeks to deliver, which is somewhat a while but I received my product. As I don’t have the ridiculously expensive mounts from VKB, it was a bit difficult to set up the whole mounts for my STECS. I had to drill a hole in my desk for it. I had to raise the mount as the STEM only allows for their USB cable, which was not mentioned. The VKB software only allows 8 rotary axis, so those 2 axis on the STEM are basically pointless. The customer support is also very much 3 stars. I stated an issue in 5 emails, which they all responded to but didn’t address the issue. They still haven’t responded to my last email, which was sent around 1.5 months ago.
What would I do if I were you? Buy from WinWing. They are a lot more open to other mounts, and I have heard they have much better customer support. It was also cheaper than what I bought.

The package itself is of high quality.
The joystick and throttle is covered with precise cut foam. Looks amazing and stylish.

The program is easy to understand and to configure.
Overall a very very good company !

I ordered a Gladiator NXT the December 12th, and I received it in France the December 24th. The shipping was a bit long but I received it without problem.

Product availability is not real. Every time I buy there In stock products, my order gets delayed for quite some time awaiting for a back order.

Before making my purchase, I was already prepared for a longer delivery time, knowing that VKB's products are shipped in small batches. However, my order, supposedly delivered a month ago, never arrived.

I filed a claim with UPS, and the delivery person came by the next day for my signature. When I asked if he personally delivered the package, he explained that the "new way of delivering packages" is to simply leave them in front of the door and take a picture. For context, my door is just 1 meter away from a bus stop on a busy main street...

UPS confirmed that the lost package claim was resolved three weeks ago, with compensation already paid out to VKB. This means they’ve been reimbursed by UPS, effectively making a sale without delivering the product, while I'm left without my joystick and 220 € poorer.

I opened a support ticket with VKB and was promised a replacement within two weeks. I gave them plenty of time, waited three (!) weeks, and then asked for an update on when I would finally receive the product I had paid for. Now, nearly four weeks later, I still have no response. VKB is ignoring my ticket, yet somehow found the time to update their news post yesterday on 14.08.2024.

To add insult to injury, my brother ordered the same joystick after I did, and he received his order without any issues. So not only did i "gift" 220€ to VKB but also a substantial amount to my brother so he can build his own setup as we want to fly together...

This is not really a problem with UPS but highlights VKB's complete failure in customer service and communication.

As I do not intend to gift 220 € to VKB, I will be reporting this to consumer protection and local authorities to start the process of reclaiming my money.

This has been an absurdly horrible experience from a customer perspective, and I cannot recommend ordering from flightsimcontrols.com, no matter how good their products might be. They appear to be severely understaffed or, worse, completely indifferent to their paying customers.

Placed order via webshop, payed via iDeal / Paypal.
Money debited from bank , but no order confirmation or whatsoever...

After contacting support they tell me to contact Paypal, but that's nearly impossible without an account. Now i'll have to hope to somehow get my money back.

Poor ordering process and service.

My story:
I wanted to order two joysticks, but I first swapped the right and left ones (i.e. an omni throttle and a normal one). When I saw this after the purchase, I wrote to the support who could not change the order but offered to delete it and give me my money back. 10 minutes later I had my money back and ordered the right ones. After about 2 months (due to back order) my package arrived, I unpacked it, assembled it and followed the Youtube tutorials to set it up.

I've been using them for two weeks now and love them.

I didn't realize at the beginning that there was a joystick back order with my second order, so I complained to support several times. So to support:
In one word: great.

Lightning-fast, polite answers that help you. Everything you could wish for from a support team.

All in all, I have had really good experiences with this company.

Ordered on Friday evening and was sent out Monday with a track and trace code, products are well packaged and no defects.

2 things to keep in mind for anyone else ordering since it flew over my head:
GNX modules can connect to the EVO stick, however it's only meant for a direct connection when side by side and not for across the desk, this is noticeable if you do more research but I din't
The MFH (multi functional holder) is too light on it's own if you want to comfortably move the throttle(s), the stick is ok but if you're not really used to it it is possible to pull the stick far enough that the base starts tilting without really noticing

Another thing to keep in mind is that the tutorials are all Youtube videos however most times the link just sends you to the channel and not the video for your module, the videos are clear but you need to think a bit as both some products and the software have had some minor changes in their internals

All in all I'd say good products and good service however some assembly and thinking required although that shouldn't be an issue for most people buying this stuff anyway

I was having issues ordering a pair of VKB Gladitors from FlightSimControls and raised a support ticket. I had a response within an hour and the person who answered the support ticket assisted me via Skype.

I bought a pair of VKB Gladiator NXT EVO.

Great product and equally great home page. Supplied instructions are good and setup super easy. It took me about 10-15 minutes to set up the controls for calibration and initial testing. I just love the combined calibration and test SW!

Was a bit put off by every review stating long delivery times but decided to try anyway due to price and features. I placed my order in a Saturday and got it the following Tuesday. So in my case, it seems that the issues have been solved.

If you live in Oslo, make sure to select Post NL or DHL.

I have used the VKB gladiators for over 8 months now. For my use they have been great! I really love the grip feels and the interchangeable buttons are just 'chefs kiss'.

My one gripe is that the feedback on the center position is a bit big.

Still just as impressed as when I bought them.

I ordered a Gladiator EVO and needed it to come at a specific time, since i wasnt home. They didnt really send it at the requested time, but when i wrote back again it didnt take them long to ship it. The stick was really great, good quality, easy enough to use and great packaging. I ended up returning it since it wasnt really me, as much as i hoped it were. Again they didnt pay me back until i wrote again and it only took a couple of hours, like last message.

TL;DR: Great product, great support. Just send another message if you have a problem because they, atleast for me, didnt do it themselves without a knudge.

Would buy from them again, if i get reinterested in flight sims!

Just brought a Flight Rudder for DCS. Great service and a sturdy product. I can highly reccomend this company. Absolutely not the last time I will do business with VKB for sure.

Excellent service, you need to do a direct IBAN transfer with your order number, its weird but apparently its because they are a small company and they deal with a lot of heavy load on their servers. I received my joystick accordingly to the delivery date, and helped me through a sftware problem after that. 5/5
