Bus was 30+ minutes late.
To the company's credit, they've issued a partial refund and a credit on next ride as compensation but of course we would rather have those 30 minutes back.

Everything about renting our 3 buses was amazing! We rented 3 buses to shuttle our wedding guest to and from our venue. They arrived on time, gave enough waiting time for guests to load up and make sure all of them got on. The drivers were kind, drove very safely, and the buses were very clean. Our guest were so appreciative that they made our NYE wedding happen so smooth, that one of them started a collection to give the driver a tip from all on board! I can’t thank First Charter enough!!

My communications with your customer service people setting up the bus charters was good although I needed to make several calls to confirm everything. The reps were very professional and helpful. The day of service however was a different story. The driver did not appear to know where he was going and needed to call us even though the address was all correct on the confirmation and contract. Luckily my sister was on the bus and had him turn around when he went the wrong way. He moreover told the bus passengers incorrect pick up time information further confusing our guests in terms of the pick up timing and having them wait outside 30 mins before the end of our event.

Happy to have chosen this bus rental for my wedding. They were punctual and easy to work with.

We use First Student for our daughter wedding to ferry the guests between the hotel and the venue. They were great! They were on time and efficient

There is not much a shuttle bus company could have done to make this experience worse. We scheduled 2 buses to transport ourselves and our guests to our wedding from 2 hotels. Our trip plan confirms they would make 3 trips each from hotel to venue. They arrived over a half hour late and when we called the main number, stated it was due to a kids trip that ran late. The buses were filthy, the driver did not greet us or even offer an apology. There was no air conditioning even though we had paid extra and it was confirmed we would receive air conditioned buses. One driver only went back to get guestd after the first trip because I had to ask him even though it was on the trip plan. The 2nd driver never went after his first trip until we saw him parking the bus. Half of our guests missed the ceremony and cocktail hour. Many others spent money on car services because they were waiting so long. When we called, we received a run around where no one wanted to accept blame nor offer any reimbursement. They collected their funds 5 days before the trip and notified us that if any changes were made after, we would be charged. However, they ran so late that the entire trip plan was not able to occur and the drivers had no idea what they were supposed to do. We lost on so much time and experiences with our families from the ceremony to cocktail hour on top of the money paid for the venue expecting to accommodate double the amount of guests as they waited for a shuttle bus.

My bus driver was awesome. He was on time, very flexible, and was very accepting of our group shannanigans. Would definitely book again!

Awful, do not use! The drivers had no idea where they were going. We had two buses, both got lost on the way to the event, one a half an hour late and missed half of cocktail hour. The other was 20 minutes late. It took them over an hour for a 35 minute drive because they got lost so much. Both bus drivers stopped on the drive to the event on the side of the road, and pulled over multiple times, checked their phones. One also got lost on the way coming home and was 20 minutes late on the return. Thank heavens I was on the other bus guiding the driver. They had no idea where they were going! Their job was to get people from point A to point B and they barely did that getting lost and stopping and pulling to the side of the road over multiple times. I called the office Monday to see what happened, asked for a manager, and nobody got back to me. It is beyond upsetting. The only low point at a wonderful and every important event. Never use this company!!

Buses were late. Bus drivers got lost and had no idea how to safely lead students to the point of drop off. One of the buses did a Uturn in an unsafe intersection with students and staff on the bus. Two people fell out of their seat during this.

Drivers were on-time, courteous, flexible and got the job done exactly the way we needed it. Great performance. Thanks so much.
