Our driver Mr. Mister was EXCELLENT! He was very personable, careful, and friendly.

Bus driver was late 30 min for pick up from drop off, she said she didn't know what time she was supposed to pick up our group and did not apologize. She said she was walking around instead after she was called 3 times she still took 20 min after me calling 10 min after being late.

Although the staff tried to be helpful, poor communication resulted in a less than satisfactory experience. Timely communication with the company was a problem. More than 1 person should be able to handle a situation. #2 If you threaten to drop an invoice, drop it. Don't come back later and insist on making charges or threaten other peoples trip at the school.

We had agreed on a 9 am pickup and the bus arrived at 9:42 am. We had a deadline and a performance at our graduation ceremony at UIC and they had to start the whole ceremony late due to our tardiness. I called the day before the outing to confirm the 9 am pickup and spoke to someone who confirmed. It did not happen. It was stressful and embarrassing. The driver and staff did apologize for the inconvenience which I appreciate. Driver arrived on time for our 11:45 am departure from UIC which was great, but the morning was very stressful for my students and colleagues, and we were counting on better service.

The day of our event, they sent two tiny buses which were not suitable for life sized high schoolers. My invoice clearly stated LARGE conventional buses (cap. 47), but was sent medium sized buses (cap.40) which were more suitable for elementary school smaller sized travelers. Evey phone number listed on my confirmation sheet was not picking up. The "after hours" number was mailbox full. Truly disappointing, had I had the correct sized buses, everyone would have been able to travel via bus to my trip, yes, people people were left behind.

I appreciate the effort that is put forth to ensure that I have transportation for my students. The representatives have been personal and professional.

The bus was about 20 minutes late, and the children had to be at the location at an exact time. They made it there late and it went into their scheduled tour.

The Driver was awesome. Daniel was on time and returned on time. Very pleasant personality. Thank You for a wonderful trip. I will return next fall.

The time schedule for the bus to arrive at our school was 9 am. The bus arrived at 9:50 am.

Pick up and drop offs were right on time, with friendly knowledgeable drivers.

I am totally displeased with first student especially the representative for CPS who was very rude and disrespectful. We had a charter didn’t learn until 6:00 PM the day before that we had no coverage. Her tone of voice and her arrogance was overwhelming.

I am glad First Charter was able to assist me. Randy was a great help she went above and beyond to make sure I had transportation for my students.

Stephanie Novak was so wonderful in helping us coordinate the logistics of field trip buses for over 40 schools across our network to multiple field trip locations. She was responsive and flexible and found a way to make what in some instances seemed like the impossible work. I can't thank her enough!

Our crowd was a tough crowd to deal with so I appreciate all 3 of the drivers there that night working with us to get everyone on board; quite literally. If we're ever back in Chicago for an event, we'll be sure to use this service again.

Everything went so smoothly. Our bus driver (Monique) was on time, drove us safely around the city to each stop, and was very friendly and accommodating to our plans. I would absolutely recommend this charter service to others and would use again myself.

When you book a b'nai mitzvah with a party to follow elsewhere with lots of kids, you need reliable, safe transportation and you need them there on time. Last time, a different company left us waiting and calling and leaving messages. This time, First Charter was EARLY and the driver was great, and it was more affordable! This is the bus company to book!
