Fire Work Glass Studio Omdömen 

After my Dad had such a great experience he wanted to share it. So I was very lucky to have a voucher for my birthday which myself and my sister attended. What an experience it was, great fun really interesting and inspiring. With are final unique pieces to take home. Highly recommend.

An opportunity to be in and experience glass blowing in an artists own studio in gorgeous grounds and share their passion for the glass was amazing. Was fun, informative and welcoming . Big thanks to Izaich and Debby for such a wonderful experience. Highly recommended .

Purchased this experience as a birthday gift for my husband, to be had whilst on holiday and it didn't disappoint. We both had a fabulous morning, Izach was brilliant and really good at sharing all the important information and gave clear instructions. Debby was also brilliant and really welcoming as well as taking some fabulous photos and videos of our morning. Our pieces were absolutely amazing and survived the cooling process well!

I booked a glasswork Experience hosted by Izach and Family, for my wife for her 40th Birthday, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience.
We had to move the date at very short notice due to a poorly child and Debby was very accomodating to get us booked back in with a new date straight away.
Neither of us had worked with glass before but despite this Izach was able to get us working comfortably in no time. His enthusiasm, knowledge and expertise shine through with his instruction, which sets you at ease. He explains each of the steps in a way that is easy to understand and lets you get hands on experience with positive coaching and guidance to allow you to create your pieces.
It was very warm in the workshop with the 1000⁰c ovens and molten glass but there were plenty of breaks for cool drinks throughout.
We made 3 pieces during our session, a purple planet like paperweight, a fire apple paperweight and a stemless wine glass which my wife enjoy drinking wine out of on Saturday night.
Both of us would not hesitate to do this again in a heartbeat and could not recommend it more highly to anyone we have spoken to.

Was hinting to my husband for a while to get this for my birthday and it was a truely fantastic experience. Izach is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and we got to work with the glass throughout the process more than I thought we would.

Managed to make a paperweight, vase and bowl within the time (although we did run over slightly) and so pleased with how they all turned out! We had a great choice of colours and finishes that can be achieved.

We don’t live very local so Debby posted everything to us, it was very well packaged and all arrived safely.

I gifted this experience for my wife and daughter at Christmas and they both thoroughly enjoyed it. Debby and Izach were so welcoming and obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. The studio and surroundings are beautiful creating a lovely relaxed atmosphere. There's a number of choices of what to make and my wife and daughter were very pleased with the pieces they made, putting them to good use already! This experience comes highly recommended.

What an amazing Experience!!

I purchased the glass blowing experience for my Wife for Christmas and we actually went down to Devon mid April. We were welcomed to the studio by Debby and Izach, and the wonderful garden where the studio is.

My Wife started off by making a lovely green paperweight, with Izach instructing and assisting. Dipping the molten glass into the different colours and putting the glass (on the end of the rod) into the heater to keep it molten. Then shaping using the wooden cup and then using the wet newspaper to ensure the smooth finish. Then finally tapping the rod to detach the glass from the rod. My Wife then made a beautiful vase using similar techniques but also blowing the shape of the vase. It was enchanting to watch.

It was then my turn. I have mobility issues due to illness but Debby and Izach were very understanding and patient with me and took into account my limitations. I made a similar paperweight but in blue.

Throughout the experience Debby takes photos and video of the guests and sends them to you afterwards.

Overall, a fantastic experience. Not relaxing (due to the 700 degree hot molten glass being so close to you) but thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding. I would highly recommend this experience.

We loved our session with Izach and Debby! It was a truly awesome experience being hands on with making our paperweights and a bowl - all guided beautifully by Izach who’s passion and enthusiasm for glass is unbeatable! Highly recommended!!!

What a great experience having this workshop at Fire Work glass studio. Debby was lovely and very professional and Izach was a very enthusiastic and clearly experienced glass artist. As someone who studied glass at college but not since, it was nice to reconnect and reminisce and I've got to come home with 3 lovely pieces of new glasswork. Izach was very patient despite my mistakes and it's perfect for complete novices as he'll ensure you take something quality home. Thank you so much

We had a great experience - really interesting and fun. Jin was superb, a fantastic teacher, and we came away with some lovely glasswork!

Fantastic glassblowing workshop with Izach and Debby. Both my friend and I had an excellent time, we made three pieces in the 2 hours we spent in the hot shop. Izach explained everything in detail to us both and we both have a new appreciation for the craft!

Mum and I had a fantastic time when attending the make your own glass experience, Izach was a brilliant teacher and very knowledgeable. We were amazed at the 3 pieces we were able to make, being complete novices. We were also sent photographs and videos, which along with the pieces we made, are a wonderful way to remember the day.
This was an amazing and unique experience which we would highly recommend everyone to have a go at.

Myself and a friend went for her birthday treat. We both really enjoyed the whole experience. By the end of our session we had made a paperweight and two bowls, all completely different colours. We were guided through every step of the way, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. I would definitely recommend this workshop, and I'm hoping to come back and do another one with my husband in the next few months.

I booked the glass blowing experience as a Valentine’s present for my husband. Izach was a great teacher who gave us a fun new experience where we successfully made 3 items. The session was organised very well and Izach and Debby were both very friendly. We had a great time and I didn’t stop smiling. We will definitely be back!

We had such a good time in the extraordinary Glass Studio with Izach and Debby. Izach was an excellent and enthusiastic teacher and, with his help and guidance (and Debby's), we came away with three beautiful items that now have pride of place in our home. The science and techniques for glassblowing were fascinating as was the equipment we used. Superb experience.

Had an amazing time 100% well worth a go. Learnt a lot and had a lot of fun in the process. A++++++

We had the best time at at the Fire Work Glass Studio. Izach and Debby where brilliant hosts and tutors, full of information and enthusiasm. It was a really hands on experience, and so much to choose from in terms of creating. They deserve a special thanks for going ahead with the booking despite Izach's injury and also for the added extras like photographing & recording our time, postage and provisions. The cost is so reasonable considering everything that is included on the day too. The studio is situated in beautiful gardens and the whole thing was stunning.

This was a surprise from my husband for my birthday and we had a really good time.Understanding how it all works and the chemistry of glass was fascinating and Izach was a patient teacher. We were hands on straight away and made 3 pieces between us - all to our own design and colours ( to put in 3 different rooms at home). We'd highly recommend giving this a try; 90 mins of learning something new and 3 unique pieces of glass wear.

We really loved our glass blowing experience. We were able to get involved and try loads of different techniques and parts of the process and left with three items we're really happy with: a paperweight, a whisky glass and a jug. It was such a fascinating experience and we had a great time
