The wood (ash) is great
The wood (ash) is great , nicely dried.
The only thing is that the people you have deliver
use a normall lorry and a pallet lifter trolley , thus means they cannot deliver onto a gravel / stone drive.
Would be much better if they used a lorry with a
grab arm loader. They also refused to back the vehicle onto my drive with some wet excuse about they didn't want to get sued with people claiming damage to the drive. I get wood from other suppliers and they all deliver with grab arm and reverse back onto my drive.

I ordered mixed hardwood and that’s…
I ordered mixed hardwood and that’s what I was expecting, a mix of hardwoods. Instead I received Alder. It’s very low density so has the lowest energy per Kg of all the hardwoods. So it burns fine but just isn’t very good value and takes up storage space. Firewood in general is 2-3x more than gas per kWh anyway.

Website is easy to browse for the…
Website is easy to browse for the perfect heating solution (logs can be ordered in bags, nets or crates for storage) or as wood pellets and is quick to order and delivery was free. Although we have a sloping drive, the pallet pump was able to take the crates to where they were needed. Very happy with the price, quantity and quality of the wood and this was a repeat order.

Very reasonable but probably not for larger woodburners
Very good booking service for delivery, well communicated and a powered pallet truck to move it where needed.
Price was reasonable and stacking on the pallet made stacking this end much easier than a loose load.
Logs were a little on the less chunky side for my larger woodburner with quite a lot of cut post segments.

order never arrived. no replies to emails and no contact followed up. phone calls were left on hold and then cut off. eventually called and got through to someone and was refunded but only after a month of trying.

Buyer beware of inaccurate product description
Have used this company now for a few years, the hastle free ordering, value for money and speedy delivery has always been great. But this time I ordered the premium hardwood crate which is supposed to be their best product, hardest, longest and cleanest burning wood. Unfortunately I do not find this the case, other products they sell for a less premium price are better than this. Some of the logs are deffinately not hard wood, you can tell by the weight, feel and look and by how quickly it's burnt and the soot it leaves. I will not be buying this particular product again.
