We rely heavily on structured databases and workflow automation (using tools like n8n, Make, etc.) to manage our operations, and trying to reliably pipe live banking data into those environments used to be a massive bottleneck. Fintable solves this instantly.

The setup process is incredibly straightforward, and their API connections are rock-solid. Having real-time visibility into our balances and automatically syncing daily transactions straight into our database has allowed me to build custom financial dashboards without relying on clunky third-party software. The data comes in clean, the syncs are perfectly reliable, and it seamlessly connects with the rest of our automation stack.

If you run an agency, manage professional services, or just love having absolute, automated control over your financial data in a structured workspace, Fintable is a must-have. It’s easily one of the most impactful tools in our operational stack. Five stars!

I genuinely wanted to like Fintable, but my experience has been nothing short of infuriating. From day one, PayPal transactions never synced properly — something they initially acknowledged and even promised to fix within five business days. Instead, weeks turned into months of silence, repeated follow-ups went unanswered, and I had to chase them multiple times just to get a basic update.

When they finally replied (after I threatened to stop using their service), the excuse was that GoCardless was unable to identify the root cause. Translation: they gave up. Despite acknowledging the issue since day one, they never fixed it — and yet thought a partial prorated refund was an acceptable resolution for a feature that never worked at all.

The lack of communication, accountability, and transparency is shocking for a company handling financial integrations. If a product can’t deliver its core functionality and the team disappears for weeks without updates, that’s not a “technical hiccup” — it’s a complete failure of customer trust.

Save yourself the frustration. Until Fintable learns how to communicate, troubleshoot, and take ownership of their promises, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Fintable has been a massive improvement for my financial tracking, whether its budgeting, goal setting, etc. I use Airtable for everything in life, both work and play, so having pretty much all of my transactions in this system too is super powerful.

Support is usually responsive and helpful in a timely manner, though I have had one instance where I had to nudge them a couple times for a response. I don't have issues often though, aside from the resycning of bank accounts - but that's more on the other tools' end than Fintables, as some of the integrators require a manual resync every 90 days.

Poor experience, banks won't connect properly and the support team are refusing to refund. Had to resort to a chargeback with credit card provider.

Edit: Company offered refund a year later. Clearly some kind of oversight and happy they have reviewed this and refunded me. Thanks again!

Fintable makes it easy to automatically and securely bring in all of your financial account information into Airtable. For a long time now I have wanted to mash up the frameworks of different budgeting platforms and make a system that works for me, but the manual transaction updates and tagging made that goal daunting. Now I can bring my entire financial snapshot into Airtable, track expenses, projected income, and savings goals in a way that works for me. I love feeling like I own the system and my data.
