We are never happy when we receive a review that is anything other than 5 stars and we are always keen to find out what more we could have done and what we can do to improve. I was really pleased to hear that you found the team here friendly and efficient with a particular mention to Bobbie. I've made sure she is aware! I am also somewhat relieved to hear that the frustrations were not necessarily with the actual service provided by Finset, but the constraints that we operate in as a Broker. We are reliant on being passed information from our partners in a timely manner and in your case, that timely manner extended. It didn't help that the situation we found ourselves in was very unusual and we tried everything we could to expedite things but our hands were tied. We will take onboard everything you mentioned and look into the process we follow with some of our partners to see if we can change the information we provide and the timescales associated with it. Finset Finance were absolutely…
Finset Finance were absolutely fantastic and deserve a full 5 stars. Their service was professional, helpful and efficient throughout the whole process, and I couldn’t fault them. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the dealer I purchased the car from — based on my experience, their customer service was extremely poor and not even worthy of a single star.

Honestly cannot thank the incredible…
Honestly cannot thank the incredible team at Finset enough! Had an absolute mare with the first car (was sold under false representations), when we finally got the money back, they went over and above when we found the car we really wanted! Vicky actually managed to get it paid the same day on a Saturday for me as we were desperate as had been without a car for a month!
Ben was also a huge legend, as well as (I hope I have the names right) Georgia and Kasey!
Would recommend all day long!

Terrible experience
Hi only one person who i spoke to was helpful and supportive. Communication was terrible and therefore spent a whole week of going backwards and forwards with information as more and more information had been requested after being told that i did not need to send it which was very stressful. I ended up signing the agreement and being accepted on Wednesday and then backtracked on Thursday to be told finance was not going to be available. On the friday there was uncertainty if the finance was going to happen and when i called to check progress i was asked not to ring again in an aggressive tone and that i would be called and informed on a decision already signed earlier in the week. This did not happen no one called back and eventually an e mail was sent which i found very discourteous. I thetefore would not use this company again.

Good morning Mrs Holland, Firstly I would like to thank you for calling me back to discuss the review you have left and the reasons behind it. As we discussed on the phone this wasn't just a review of Finset you left but all parties involved in your application. You explained that one of the major reasons for the review was having to provide further information after being told that you had supplied everything needed, and then the delays at the final hour before payout and the uncertainty around it. As I explained, sadly both these things are out of our hands. I appreciate that going backwards and forwards can be frustrating but when information is required we have no option but to provide that information if the application is to be successful. You say in your review that you were told not to ring again in an aggressive tone. I have listened to that call and I don't feel our member of staff was aggressive in any way. I appreciate that his tone could have been a little softer but he was in the same position as you, unaware of the other parties timescales and without any further information to provide you. I think he was trying to explain that rather than you calling back again in 10 minutes as you said you would, he would call you as soon as he had information. Following from this you said the final part of your application lacked the personal touch as no one called you to say the finance had been agreed and would be paid, and that you were just provided with email communication. I have taken this on board and will be speaking to the team about ensuring we provide that personal touch and don't just rely on written communication in circumstances that we know have been testing for some customers. I had to wait 5 hours in the showroom…
I had to wait 5 hours in the showroom before being able to leave with my new car because of the finance figures not being correct. I was only contacted 30 minutes before I left to have an explanation as to what was taking so long. And then had to go through the signing process again! This is after 3 separate phone calls prior to collection day to correct the figures of the financial agreement that kept on going wrong.

Hi Jemma, I have tried to contact you regarding the review you have left. I am very sorry to hear that you were in the showroom for 5 hours before being able to drive away with your new vehicle. We pride ourselves in providing our customers and dealer partners a swift and efficient payout process so hearing of your experience has been a shock to us. With this in mind I have looked into the process and timescales. One of our agents messaged you at 10.20am on the 12th August to confirm you were going to site around midday to inspect and if you were happy with it, collect your vehicle. They then contacted you at 12.15pm to see if you had arrived safely and you confirmed at 12.29pm that you had just arrived. We asked at that point for you to confirm which sales agent you were dealing with and to confirm when you were happy with the vehicle. Between 12.20pm and 14.34pm we heard nothing from you. We chased you at 14.20pm to find out how you were getting on and you replied at 14.34pm that you were waiting for the finance figures to be corrected. This was the first point we were made aware they were being changed. At 15.23pm we were given the new figures and submitted the changes to the lender. We notified you at 15.58pm that we had chased the lender to try and speed things up and then we confirmed at 16.15pm the agreement had been finalised and funds would be released. As you can see there is a period of just over two hours when you were in the dealership and we were unaware of any changes. If we had been made aware then we would have been able to intervene immediately to expedite these changes. This doesn't change your experience but I hope it has explained that our part in those delays was out of our control. I would be very keen to discuss this further with you and have sent you my contact details. Again, I am sorry that this wasn't the experience you wanted but hopefully you can see we tried to speed things up as soon as we were made aware. Kind regards, Jo
