Festool Reciprocating Saw 18v

I have a vast collection of Festool tools and they are quite simply the best money can buy…. You get what you pay for, buy once, cry once is my motto. The 18v Reciprocating saw (RSC 18) is an absolute beast. Beautiful smooth operation (unlike most recip saws I’ve used in the past) and effortless cutting ability. Worth every cent

After decades in the woodwork trade

After decades in the woodwork trade, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of table saws—many of them high-end, professional-grade machines. Very few stand out the way the CSC SYS-50 does.

In terms of precision and accuracy, this saw is in a class of its own. Every cut is clean, consistent, and exactly where you want it. The build quality is exceptional, and you can feel it the moment you start using it—solid, reliable, and clearly engineered with serious tradesmen in mind.

What really sets it apart is the overall performance. Whether you're doing fine, detailed work or heavier cuts, it handles everything effortlessly. It’s smooth, powerful, and incredibly dependable, which is exactly what you need when your work demands a high standard.

Quite simply, this is the best table saw I’ve ever used. If you’re looking for a tool that delivers absolute quality and professional results every time, you can’t go past the CSC SYS-50. An outstanding piece of equipment—absolutely magnificent.

Repair

I had to have a dust extractor repaired and Luke at the Melbourne Repair centre was extremely helpful and very timely in his communication

RTS 400 EQ-Plus
Ive had sand paper last longer than the velcro on this tool!!! After paying over $500 for a sander I expected better from a quality brand pricing. VERY DISAPOINTED!!!
Ive been using them since they where FESTO.
Not worth the money anymore

I bought the RG130 for about $1350.

I bought the RG130 for about $1350.
It ceased working after about 18 months, I had it repaired under warranty after having it returned it stopped working again after about 6 months of use. This time it was out of warranty. It was returned unrepaired.
I spoke to someone at Festool Australia who assured me that they would look into it and I have since heard nothing.
For this price you would expect better quality, I could have bought 3 Makitas which would have lasted just as long for this price.
I now have a very expensive boat anchor.
AVOID THIS BRAND.
