Appliances issue, customer support is poor
I wanted to start by saying I gave Ferguson additional star because we were able to get our money back. We had a dilemma with Bellevue location. The whole order was messed up. 1. We ordered Thermador fridge with salesperson specifically telling him WHITE inside, no water dispenser. Received STAINLESS STEEL inside and the freezer door had whole for water dispenser even though our fridge didn’t have one. Now I have constant fingerprints on inside of my fridge and it’s a pain to wash off those spots. They told us we got updated model (but thats not what we ordered, you cant just replace without confirming with a customer). We just didn’t want to fight with Ferguson about it because we had a much much worse problem. Received oven+speed oven appliances with rats poop inside and appliances smelled like pee. Once the pee is there, you cant make it go away. They wanted to blame us that we have rats in garage (thats where we kept sealed appliances like they were delivered until kitchen was ready). We lived in our home for 8 years and never had a single rat/mice in garage. Appliances were firmly sealed, not a single hole when we inspected them but when we opened the boxes, the poop just rolled brr. Rodents were inside speed oven and there was also some tiny red bugs/worm inside of speed oven. All appliances (oven, speed & fridge were stores in garage for same time, no rats in fridge). After fighting with them for over 4 months, they replaced us with broken/damaged/used appliances even though we paid money for new. They told us they were knew, but we could see speed oven was taken apart all scratched up on the sides and it smelled burned when working and made electricity shocking clicking sound. It was delivered very dusty/black dust. We didn’t even install the oven because it was received damaged in 3 spots on front. They told us these models can’t be found in the whole USA that they were replaced by newer models (lied). I think they meant Ferguson didn’t have them, but other dealers had them. We got our money back, but since our cabinets are custom to these appliances, we needed exact models. I never bought appliances straight from internet, but we had no option. There were 2 companies offering them, and the one with bunch of bad reviews was the company that delivered us brand new, not a single scratch appliances 3 weeks later. That company kept us informed about whereabouts and status of our order through email. Every step! (with Ferguson we had to keep emailing salesperson every month for 7 months asking where is it). We spent Christmas and Easter without oven and microwave because of Ferguson. The 2 major holidays where I always invite family over. This dilemma also prevented me from cooking/baking and posting new recipes online and that’s where our income comes. In the past for so many years we always sent people to Ferguson for appliances and everything they needed for their remodel because we had great experience with them 8 yrs ago when we did remodel in our home, unfortunately this door closes for us. Ferguson is no more to us. We lost our loyalty to them and we no longer feel confident sending people their way. I just don’t want anyone to go through what we went through.
