Tell me, please is this original or no?

Same product, different color, same 466 reviews but one gets and F, the other an A? Wow, obviously useless, total fail!

Should be shut down permanently!!! Very inaccurate

I have several custom products in Amazon with mostly 5 star reviews. They are giving me an F grade. I have busted my ass to build my business. I have tried to reach them several times and they wont respond.

Fakespot removed support for analyzing https links... which is 90% of the web now days. Making this extension and website pretty useless.

Its the most fake website with full of garbage!!!

Fakespot isn't that good; in fact, most of the time, it's terrible. I have been one of the top sellers on eBay for at least ten years. My rating has always been 100% Today a was getting information on an item I sold, and I saw s "fakeshield" on the product. It also states lies and a bunch of misinformation. Is there any way great sellers can protect themselves from these falsehoods? I think this is one of the reasons my sales have been slow.

Nothing about this is genuine. Their ratings are nonsensical. You're better off doing a quick scroll of the reviews yourself. If you rely on this, you're still just as likely to be get scammed.

When Mozilla bought Fakespot, it should have been warning enough considering Mozilla itself now nothing but a conglomeration of scammers.

It just uses algorithms based on reviewers words, and edits, (To note I edit my reviews to fix spelling msitakes or to update the review regarding the product use etc..)

This fakespot doesn't prove anything, I know this for a fact, because it found me as a top reviewer on Amazon to be fake, only I know myself right, I know my reviews, I know I'm the real deal, I'm a no nonesense reviewer, you cannot get a more honest reviewer than me in the whole world filled with 8+ billion people. Sorry folks I am the most honest, you can't push me to fake review or lie, not even if you paid me 1 million pounds. I'd rather die poor and honest.

So I hearby declare Fakespot a fake system in itself that thinks it's trying to do good, only It's probably funded by a person once upon a time, who was scammed on Amazon one day, and decided to develop a website based on a science that is stupid and uncalculated algorithm bot system, unproven system so much, that it doesn't work 99% of the time, it might get lucky once or twice, this is pure coincidence, it hasn't been lucky with me yet not once.

Trust me your better off buying the product off Amazon, and sending it back if there's a problem, don't waste your time with fakespot like I did.

Amazon offer free delivery, and returns collection especially if your a prime member, and the product is bought off Prime, then there's no need for fakespot or anything like it in the first place. What a joke.

fakespot itself is FAKE! all it does is count words and search keywords.. there is no ai nor algorithm. its a lie itself

So many "reviews" of the well-known scam - "2TB USB flash drives" at VERY low prices, the reviews are VERY similar, and fakespot approves the seller?

Seems to me this FakeSpot analyzer is simply bogus. Just take a look - 2 identical earbuds, one is in black and rated 'F', and another one in white rated 'B'. Both earbuds have same 207 reviews. See for yourself:

I don't get it. I downloaded it. It only worked on Amazon and results seemed sketchy. I tried it on other websites where you need to analyze reviews like Temu and it doesn't work at all. I thought it would scan the reviews and provide feedback , nothing. I went to Mt eBay account, nothing. It offers to steer you to better deals, that's fishy. I think it is a bot that collects your information. I will uninstall now

Ditto all the others who have caution warning on their eBay seller account?????
I have 4 sales this month and a 100% record since 2007.

Fakespot has put a Seller Caution rating on my eBay listing while I have an Above Average seller rating with eBay. Fakespot claims I am a new seller and should not be trusted. I have been listing and selling on eBay for years. Fakespot does more harm than good if its ratings are not accurate.

I used to be a big fan of Fakespot, right up until they decided to screw me over with a "Seller Caution" on my eBay account which I've run since 1999. How dare they make such an assumption, attempting to scare off bidders to things I sell on eBay, it's a step too far.

The concept is a good idea, but Fakespot's implementation is flawed to the extent that it's offensive.

It's your computer, you do as you will, but from my experience, they're not worthy of the claims they make and thusly, should be avoided at all costs.

It used to work better, but not quite now. Honestly, I'm sceptical about its algorithm recently.
For example, two identical products in different colours, listed on the same Amazon page, got different ratings, despite they were analysed at the same time based on the same set of reviews.

It just doesn't make sense. It often flags positive reviews as negatives and it flagged one of my own genuine reviews as fake.

Its assisted in sorting out the fake reviews for products

"Undergoing maintenance" very often. Often useless for that reason. It appears from other reviews onTrustPilot that it isn't a very good app at other times as well.
