Life-changing app! Helped me find my worth.

This application is beautifully designed and very easy to navigate. The onboarding quiz was spot-on and the daily content is exactly what I needed to break out of my rut. Everything runs smoothly the visual style is gorgeous, and the insights are incredibly accurate. If you want to invest in your self-growth, this app is 100% worth it

Deceptive

If I could give this lower than a '1' I would. I agree with multiple people that the practices of this application are deceptive. You are offered a free quiz, get charged for the report, then another charge later for an unheard of amount. Thank God my bank flagged the charge. The instructions they provide to cancel do not work because the app says, you have no subscription. Do not fall in their trap. For those who say they love the app, great for you.

This is probably the first wellness app…

This is probably the first wellness app I’ve actually stayed consistent with for more than just a few days. Most self-care or wellness apps start feeling repetitive or overwhelming very quickly, but FABU feels completely different. The daily plans are simple, realistic, and easy to follow even when I have a busy or stressful day. Instead of making me feel guilty for not doing enough, the app creates this really supportive and motivating atmosphere that makes me want to come back every day.

The mood tracker has honestly been one of the most helpful features for me. It made reflecting on my emotions feel natural instead of complicated, and after using it for a while I started noticing patterns in my mood and habits that I had never paid attention to before. I also really love the affirmations and calming exercises — they genuinely help me slow down and reset mentally when my anxiety gets high.

Another thing that makes FABU stand out is the design and overall experience. Everything looks beautiful, cozy, and thoughtfully made. The app feels relaxing from the moment you open it, which is something I’ve never experienced with other wellness apps. Even small details like the animations, colors, and interactions make it feel comforting and safe.

What I appreciate the most is that FABU doesn’t pressure you to become “perfect.” It helps you build healthier habits little by little in a way that feels achievable and kind. Since using it regularly, I feel more emotionally balanced, less stressed, and much more aware of how I take care of myself mentally. FABU honestly became one of my favorite apps and a very important part of my daily routine.

Beware - Subscription Trap

This company uses subscription traps and other unfair trading practices. I didn't subscribe, I simply took an online "quiz" that popped up on my computer screen through advertising on an unrelated website, then an allegedly "free trial" was offered with the results of the quiz. Somehow they accessed my bank card without me providing any details. I contacted my bank immediately when the unauthorised charge appeared on my bank statement. The bank took immediate action, reversed the charge and referred the matter to their fraud department. I have also made a detailed report to the ACCC to give weight to the new consumer laws my government is introducing to ban unfair trading practices by internet platforms, with companies facing hefty fines up to $50 million per breach.

Incidentally, there was no record of any subscription in Paypal, Google Pay or on their website. The email address they provide reported back as invalid by the ACCC when entered in their system. Trying to contact the company via their website wasn't any better. I finally found their email link at the bottom of their subscription terms page, exactly the same support address. I clicked on the link to use their web form, and the link took me to an error message: 404 page not found. When I tried to take a screenshot of the error page, a message popped up at the bottom of my screen that the app does not allow screenshots! I was on their webpage not in an app. How more unfair a business practice can there be than that their provided contact details are invalid. Oh yes, dear, I do have a camera aside from my phone. Record taken and forwarded. You will be held accountable for your unconscionable conduct.

Fabu - you're on notice, clean up your act!!!

Tried to cancel and EXCESSIVE CHARGES

I tried to cancel too, after getting their EXCESSIVE charges! I thought i clearly had. I had written in, canceled things through a site and emailed them, etc, come to find out, months later STILL BEING CHARGED 40 A MONTH! I WANG A REFUND. And that's WAY TOO MUCH money for your services. Does seem like it's praying on the impulsive person! )<

Worst experience ever!!

Worst experience ever!!! Cancelled a month in advance twice and they kept billing and overdrew my bank account twice! Refused to return my money and no way to talk to anyone!!! Don’t do it!!!!

Keeps me on track

I’ve been using FABU for about three weeks to build new habits, and it’s been genuinely helpful. Unlike many other apps, it doesn’t feel overwhelming — instead, it offers steady support with a well-balanced, gamified experience.

Unexpected renewal with no reminder or easy way to cancel

This app uses unclear subscription practices.

The renewal was hidden in fine print and I was not aware I had agreed to it. As soon as I saw the PayPal notification (with the payment still pending), I contacted Fabu to cancel, but they refused.

You cannot access or manage your subscription from within the app, and there were no emails confirming the renewal or warning that it was about to occur. When I requested proof that I had agreed to this charge, none was provided.

The renewal fee was $125 AUD for just 12 weeks, which I consider excessive and misleading. I am a psychologist and stopped using the app because I found it unhelpful.

I strongly encourage others to be cautious and check for hidden renewals before signing up.

For transparency, all subscribers agree to our Terms and Conditions before completing their initial purchase. After your purchase, an order confirmation email was sent with the next renewal date, amount, and a link to manage or cancel your subscription.

The PayPal notification shows a payment already authorized under this agreement, which is why it couldn’t be canceled at that stage.

We appreciate your feedback and are always working to make subscription details as clear and accessible as possible.
