I have worked with Extra people for over a year now and got plenty of work from them. They are very professional and brilliant at keeping you informed. You don't feel like just a number you feel like an individual and they work very hard to put you forward for the right casting. Very much looking forward to seeing what's next. Extra People is the BEST agency in the UK for backgrounds for sure!!!
Good communication, fast payments, availabilities 3-4 times a day and they book me around 10 times a month! Really good!!!

This is amazing agency, had wonderful jobs trough it, olways pays in a good time frames, do not need to call agency to notify you are not anymore available, just send an email, great blog which is a support for artists, easy to update profile and pictures, really enjoy it to the moon and back. Easily the number 1 agency for SA work.

The quantity and quality of jobs are very good. Add in the highly efficient booking and payment process you've got yourself great agency to be signed up with.

The team at Extra People are hard working and always a pleasure to communicate with. A must agency for anyone in the SA business.

Have been on there books about 3 years and had a fair amount of jobs with them once booked don't get released the staff are always polite and communicate well and always paid within the allowed timescale. Would definitely recommend

I'm really dismayed to read any negative reviews for Extra People. I have been with them since August 2022 and I have 'never' had a problem with bookings, payments, communication and job satisfaction. I have always found them courteous and professional. I appreciate that my persona doesn't automatically assure bookings. It's the 'nature of the beast' right?

Extra people have always been one of my favourite agencies. I have had some super jobs from them and they are always professional from start to finish. They always keep me updated and always pay on time. I would definitely recommend them

Amongst all the background agencies in the UK, Extra People consistently land me the most work each year on high-quality, top-tier productions (Bridgerton! House of the Dragon!).

Payments are always swift. Their communication and booking process is clear, consistent and most importantly, accurate. I've rarely had my Extra People bookings fall through once they've been confirmed, which I can't say for some of the other agencies! Their team is super friendly and professional. I couldn't rate them higher.

I was with them for about 4 years and I had NEVER had a job with them.

I was booked for 1 production only to get stood down upon checking in. I was told that I was no longer required so I went home.

I was berated for not turning up and was marked as 'NO SHOW'.

Had I been given a chance to tell them that I had dash cam footage of me turning up and then leaving around 10 minutes later, but I all I got was removal from the books. I received feedback from Extra People - however their statement contradicted itself.

You state 'you didn’t turn up' however you then state 'You should not have gone home' this raises the question if I went home that is evidence that I did turn up! Production and us called you and you said to them. This is a lie as I was driving I do not use a phone while driving (6 points + a £300 fine) so NO conversation ever took place. The production was a TVC NOT a series. Having spent over 25 years in a discipline service, - Military and Police - I obeyed the last instruction I was given!

It's a shame that they have made a decision based upon on half of the information. They weren't interested in my version of events. I felt that they were incapable of being impartial (appeasing a production company error more like)

It's very odd that I have NEVER had this problem with any other casting agency.

They have lost a trained artist that is SPACT trained, weapons and firearms ECSPC trained, done dialogue (television)and trained at the Met Film School at Ealing Studios as well as completed over 80 productions.

In my view this shows their lack of integrity and how unprofessional they really are.

One of the better of the companies in this area since the pandemic. I get a lot of enquiries and work. They arent easy to communicate with but have good roles and pay promptly. No complaints

All these high starred reviews that I see here and on similar casting companies makes me believe that they get the jobs through nepotism. It's still the business of who you know.

I put in the effort to have a decent profile, but feel that it's done in vain, no pun intended.

Absolute cowboys. Do not work for these shysters. They still owe money for booked and confirmed days, yet don't reply to emails. There are plenty of decent, reputable people and agencies in this business, work for them instead. Not dodgy scammers like Extra People. I would give zero stars if it were possible.

My first ever job as an SA was with them and I look forward to more opportunities to work with them. The information was clear helping make my experience fun and stress free

A fantastic agency! The bookers are very polite with constant thorough communication and updates. I don’t feel like just another number which makes Extra People one of my favourite agencies.

Extra People have been an outstanding agency for me - they’ve secured me hundreds of filming days over the past two years, leading to incredible experiences on set, excellent friendships with crew and Supporting Artistes and have granted me the independence of secure self-employment. At the risk of sounding melodramatic, this company has changed the trajectory of my career.

Their staff have always been very friendly, their communication clear and their payment system reliable. They’re upfront about their commission and VAT, don’t charge any book fees and their new Advice Centre has really demonstrated to the SA community that they are the only agency willing to work to educate and fight for the little guys.

I have been an SA for years and they have always been great. Cant wait to see what roles they have for me this year!

I like the fact that you ca actually speak with someone over the phone. The lady in whom I spoke with was polite. The only thing I didn’t like was that they contacted me January in regards to the triple86, I replied with my availability and never heard anything back from them until the date was long passed. I logged into my account today and it says released.
