If your looking for a fun, well run hiking experience with great company and beautiful scenery look no further. I’ve been away with explore more to climb mount Toubkal in Morocco, the highlands in Scotland, the alps in France and Everest base camp and island peak in Nepal along with climbs all around Ireland and it’s always been a fantastic adventure. Everything is well organized which made life easy to just relax and enjoy. Absolutely Great communication and support from the lads. I really appreciate all your guidance and I look forward to more adventures with this cool group 😎 I always come home feeling grateful and recharged. not only have I made great memories but I’ve also made some very good friends along the way to

I booked my first trip with Explore More in June 2023 to Chamonix with the goal of summiting Mont Blanc and Gran Paradiso — and we achieved both. That trip built strong friendships and trust in the team, so I kept coming back.
Over the years I’ve joined Explore More for trips to Scotland and Mount Toubkal, and most recently for the Everest Base Camp trek and the summit of Island Peak in Nepal in April 2025. Every trip has been professionally organized with knowledgeable guides, reliable logistics, and a supportive group atmosphere. I’m looking forward to my future trips with Explore More and can’t wait for more adventures with this team.

I’ve climbed in the Atlas Mountains, climbed to Everest Base Camp and Mount Kilimanjaro and attended Winter training in the Scottish Highlands, with Explorer More. Everything was very professionally organised and all I had to do was turn up and climb. Ken, Tom and Andrew have always been very helpful and encouraging and I could always reley on the their experience and advice. On all of those trips I’ve experienced, what I can best describe as a friendly family like atmosphere. I really highly recommend Explore More. It has allowed me to explore remarkable places in a safe environment.

Travelled to Morocco with a group to climb Toubkal. Everything was organised to the last detail so did not have to worry about anything other than summiting. The whole experience from start time finish was great fun, and one of the best holidays I've ever been on. Looking forward to my next adventure with the crew.

I'm just back from an incredible trip to Nepal and specifically Island Peak. It's my second trip with these guys having first started in Scotland previously. I couldn't recommend ExploreMore more, everything is pre planned, itenaries, gear lists, online zoom calls, training days, it's just amazing. When I had a query, one of the lads were immediately on the phone to me.

Once I confirmed I was added to a Whatsapp group with other travellers. From the moment I signed up to the Nepal trip itself to getting back to Ireland, everything was flawless. I met great friends along the way and took away an adventure of a lifetime and one of my big bucket list challenges.

We contacted ExploreMore to organise a 3 day girly getaway to Italy for myself and 2 friends. Tom and Andrew were super to deal with, organising everything to perfection. They suggested a private wine tasting and selected day trips to our exact specifications. They even suggested a few other options that just made our trip even more magic. We also had a private chauffeur driven tour of Rome where we visited all the major attractions. I cannot recommend ExploreMore enough and I will definitely be contacting them again to organise future trips!!! Thanks guys - a completely magical- much needed- girly weekend.

I went on their organised hike up Kilimanjaro in Feb 2026. it was a great trip and Ken had us all well prepared for what we would encounter. I had a memorable experience and I would highly recommend Explore More 👌

We travelled to Maderia for some hiking, wine tasting and to exolore the island. We were picked up at the airport and brough to our Funchal hotel and we really enjoyed the week. Each day was well organised with different activities and we were free to wander the old streets of the town ourselves in the evening.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, everything felt thoughtfully organised, seamless, and genuinely tailored to make the trip unforgettable. The team struck that perfect balance between professionalism and warmth — always there when you needed them, but never intrusive.
The hikes themselves were absolutely breathtaking. Every trail felt like it had been carefully chosen to showcase the very best of France and Italy — from dramatic mountain views to peaceful countryside paths and hidden spots you’d never find on your own. It wasn’t just about the scenery, though; it was the whole atmosphere. There was this incredible sense of connection — to the places, the culture, and the people around you.
What really stood out was the attention to detail. Whether it was the pacing of the hikes, the quality of the accommodations, or the little touches along the way, everything felt intentional and well thought out. You could tell this wasn’t just a standard itinerary — it was something crafted with real passion and care.
And the people — both the guides and the group — made it even more special. The guides were knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely enthusiastic, which made every day more enjoyable. By the end of the trip, it felt less like a tour and more like a shared adventure with friends.
If you’re even considering a hiking trip like this, I can’t recommend this company enough. It’s not just a holiday — it’s an experience that stays with you long after you’ve come home.

I've travelled with Explore More on their Everest base camp and Island Peak expedition in 2025, as well as Mont Blanc, the previous year and numerous other local hikes throughout Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

The trips are so well planned out and organised, they use local highly skilled and experienced guides which is very reassuring , especially when travelling in far off destinations like Nepal.

Ken, Tom and Andrew go to great lengths to ensure everyone's safety and wellbeing on the trips are prioritised.

Equipment kit lists, and training plans are also provided months prior to travelling, which I found really helpful to be prepared mentally and physically for the adventure.

There is also a great social element to the trips with endless amounts of craic and banter to be had !!

I look forward to travelling to Scotland later on this year with Explore More!

I traveled on several occasions with Explore More , Scotland , Wales , Morocco and from booking to guides tea houses hotels they really do go above and beyond for your adventure I wouldn't book with anyone else now!

I have been on two very different trips with Explore More but both were as well organised and as enjoyable as each other. The first one I went on was a weekend to Isle of Skye in October 2024 to climb four peaks (munros) over 900m-Am Basteir, Bruach na Fríthe, Sgùrr na Banachdaich and Blà Bheinn. We had excellent guides who prioritised safety and took everyones capabilities into account so that no one felt rushed and all had the opportunity to summit successfully. We had plenty of time in the evenings to explore, relax, go for a swim and finish each night off with dinner and drinks together. Prior to the trip we were provided with a detailed itinery of the layout of the weekend, kit list and a payment plan
The second trip was to Everest Base Camp in Nepal. Again we were provided with a kit list a detailed itinery and a payment plan. We were also advised on a training plan to help us prepare for the trip. When we got to Nepal our guides were outstanding from start to finish. Not only were they knowledgeable but they were also incredibly attentive and intuitive, always one step ahead in making sure we were comfortable, feeling good and enjoying our time there. Everyone is the group was successful in reaching Everest Base Camp which was a massive achievement. We also had the opportunity to climb Nanhkarhshang (5121m) and to Kala Patthar viewing point (5317m)

I travelled to Tanzania in February 2026 with Explore More with the aim to summit Africa's highest peak Kilimanjaro. Ken from Explore More looked after our group so well and linked with the local guides to ensure all went smoothly while we traversed the Rongai route to the top.
We had a large group of 20, who were from all over Ireland, we arrived in Tanzania with the same aim to get to the Uhuru Peak.
What was wonderful about the trip was that amazingly all 20 members of our group summited within minutes of each other which allowed for us to be pictured at the top together. We bonded so well with each other as a group, exploring what Moshi has to offer, sharing meals together, supporting each other through the journey, sharing top tips & snacks and creating memories to last a life time. It was an amazing trip, once in a lifetime opportunity and I cannot thank Explore More enough for providing me with this experience.

I have been on a number of trips with ExploreMore from hiking in Scotland, climbing Toubkal, a great week hiking and climbing in Chamonix and most recently a fantastic adventure climbing Kilimanjaro. Their organisation is second to none, all logistics are taken care of in advance from booking flights to transfers from the airport, permits, guides and accommodation. Great support and sound advice is provided pre-departure, no question you might have about your trip or appropriate gear or training goes unanswered. Everything runs very smoothly all you need to do is prepare well and train hard, all the rest will be looked after by ExploreMore. On our recent Kilimanjaro climb especially there was a great team ethos and team spirit will full success getting everyone safely to the summit and back using local guides and support with incredible memories made by everyone. The people on these trips really are what makes them special. I would highly recommend any aspiring adventurer planning a trip to go with ExploreMore! A 10/10 experience with like minded people - and most importantly they will get you to the top and back with plenty of laughs😊

I recently traveled to Morocco with Explore-more to hopefully attempt to climb Mt Tobukal the highest mountain in north Africa
From booking to completion it was straight forward and easy to use.
When i arrived i was greeted by the explore-more rep and was brought to the guesthouse, Ken ,Tom & Andrew from Explore-more were there and guided me through what the hike would entail , everything was explained and at no time did i feel out of my depth or unsafe.
Morocco and Mt Tobukal are beautiful and breathtaking in equal measures and i would definitely recommend Explore-more if you are planning this trip , guides, food and planning were all spot on.
I will be using Explore-more for further hiking trips and i feel value for money and the exceptional service from all the crew is very hard to find these days.

I have been on a good view trips with ExploreMore over the last no. of years.
I have been to the Isle of Skye, Ben Nevis, Morocco, and Everest Base Camp in Napal.
I have also summited Mont Blanc and more recently Island Peak, a 6000m mountain in Napal.

The trips have all been very well organised, the groups are small and they are good value. Local guides are used which is important to the local economy of the countries we go to.
More importantly there is always great craic on the hikes.
I couldn't recommend ExploreMore highly enough.
