It has been a pleasure to work with Alexander Dimino. He is experienced in college counseling and provides helpful feedback. He has helped us navigate the whole college admissions process from choosing the best high school classes to choosing the most prestigious summer programs for my daughter's intended major. He has done a great job editing my daughter's essays and choosing the best wording for her activities and honors lists. Along the way, he even provided us with a contact for online Spanish tutoring. He had also prepped my daughter to feel more confident going into her college interview which ended up going very well. Alexander regularly checks in to make sure my daughter is on schedule with her college application process. He has surpassed everything we expected from this process.

That said, I did find a few parts of the company’s process a bit unclear. When I first signed up, some of the language around their packages felt a little vague, and it wasn’t immediately obvious what specific services or limits came with each one. Toward the end of my consulting journey, I actually reached out to ask what else my advisor could assist with, just to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. It wasn’t a major issue, everything worked out fine, but clearer upfront communication would have made the whole experience smoother and more transparent.

Still, I think Exceptional Grad lives up to its name in terms of the quality of its team and their dedication to clients. Everyone I interacted with was kind, professional, and clearly invested in seeing students succeed. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for guidance with grad or law school applications, just make sure to ask detailed questions about what’s included in your package from the start.
