A breath of fresh air

I want to write a new review as an update to a previous review I left to reflect how things were ultimately handled.

My initial experience with EVFreaks was very frustrating. After placing an order, I went over a month with no updates, no shipping, and no responses to multiple emails. It was especially concerning to see active posts on social media while customer inquiries were being ignored. Eventually, I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company due to the lack of communication.

However, a few weeks later, the owner reached out to me directly and took full responsibility for what happened. He explained that he had been out of the country and that operations had not been handled properly in his absence. More importantly, he made a genuine effort to fix the situation.

He communicated clearly, apologized sincerely, and worked with me to find a solution. Although the original item I ordered was no longer available, he offered a comparable replacement, provided a discount, and included additional items as a gesture of goodwill.

While the initial experience was disappointing, I do appreciate the effort the owner made to make things right. That level of accountability and follow-through does matter. Based on how the situation was ultimately handled, I want to say that I feel genuinely satisfied with the response and appreciate the communication. The owner is great really did a good job fixing the problem

Don’t buy from them really piss poor service. They’ll take your money don’t send out your order then don’t reply to emails and you’ve got no chance contacting them by phone. Nice one evfreaks I’m a grand out of pocket now thanks

Hello James. I agree that our previous management could sometimes be difficult to reach due to understaffing at the time. That said, we have never taken anyone’s money, and we have no outstanding orders or unresolved issues.

We are fully operational with a public workshop open in Manchester, and we have been trading since late 2019. In the end, every customer either received their order or was refunded, and that includes you, James. Your full refund was issued as soon as we saw your request.

It is true it took us four days to read your message, and I completely understand why that was frustrating. If you would like to email us at [info@evfreaks.uk](mailto:info@evfreaks.uk), we would be more than happy to invite you to join our ambassador program as a way to make up for past mistakes.

Warning: Avoid EVFreaks.com - Horrible Customer Service and No Refund

I ordered a cable harness from EVFreaks.com in May, and while it arrived quickly, I later found a cheaper option elsewhere. I returned the item using UPS (within days of receiving the item), but EVFreaks.com REFUSED to accept the return. Now the package has been stuck in a lost-and-found facility in Germany for over two months, and I’m €170 out of pocket with nothing to show for it.

I’ve repeatedly tried to contact them via email and phone, but they’ve completely ignored me. The only time I got a response was when I called them out on Instagram publicly! The owner admitted he’s too busy to deal with customer service but STILL hasn’t taken responsibility for the return or my refund.

At this point, I’m left without my money AND without the cable harness. This is unacceptable! If you’re thinking about buying from EVFreaks.com, DON’T. They have zero respect for their customers, and if you need a refund or help with your order, you’ll be left high and dry like me.

Just to clarify what happened excatly based on our investigation: as you mentioned, we shipped the loom quickly. However, the delivery was never accepted, and we also received an email from you asking if you could return the item, even though it had not been delivered to you. In the end, the parcel was refused at delivery, it was then lost by UPS by emailing back and forth, and we never received it back. As a result, you never received your item as well and you lost your money... If you will email us - we will make sure it gets resolved.
