The rules of the tournament changed on…
The rules of the tournament changed on second day I.e goalkeeper could not pick up back pass Friday but could Saturday.
Parents and players being abused on and off the pitch.
Time tables changes last-minute.
Buses not turning up on time.
Kids missing out on lunch as hotel needs 24hrs notice to make pack lunches.
This was in Bacalona, 2014 age group.

Blackpool 24 football
Gavin, Ryan and the rest of team made our trip run smoothly. It was well organised and everything went great.
This is our second year at the Blackpool tournament and we wouldn’t hesitate to go again.

Blackpool 2024
The organisation was good.
Coach pick up and communication on the day very efficient.
Referees excellent.
Pitches very poor, 4 out of 5 of games sub standard. Goals too small
We were located out in Preston, very expensive to get into Blackpool for day trip
Small bit more grading needed before group stages. We beat a team 22-0 which is terrible for the boys

Thanks for taking the time to complete a review. We are pleased you thought the tournament was well organised and that the coach transfers and communication were very efficient. We are also pleased that you thought the referees were excellent and we will pass this onto our referee coordinators, who don't always get such positive feedback! So it is very much appreciated.
With reference to the format, it is very difficult to grade teams prior to the tournament as every country has different ways that they use to grade in their own associations and leagues etc.
Normally our tournament format helps with this, teams are initially randomly drawn into groups and then depending where they finish in the group progress to play against teams who finish at the same position in other groups. The majority of the time this works very well and with only 2 days to make sure we complete the tournament programme it is not possible to work any other format.
In regards to the condition of the pitches, Easter was very early this year and with the amount of rain fall since the start of the year it made it very difficult for ground staff to be able to work on the pitches as much as they'd have liked (in Lancashire there has been 71 days of rainfall in the first 90 days of the year!), I know a lot of the UK has been affected with the poor weather with many matches and venues being called off. However, having said that we are pleased with the efforts of the ground staff given the circumstances, to make sure the tournament still went ahead as planned. I know many other tournament organisers were not so lucky.
Teams always have a wide choice of accommodation and prices in both Blackpool and Preston depending on where there playing venue is, this also depends on when they book. We always suggest booking as early as possible to get the widest possible options that suit your needs.

Lochore Welfare U15s thanks to Gavin and Euro sporting
2 years running Gavin has produced 2 great trips for our team. 1st one when we were Fife SoS to Arnhem, and this year as Lochore Welfare to the Zwolle Int cup. We told Gavin our wish list for what we want out of the trip, and he produces every time. It’s a big commitment for a youth football team and Gavin makes the whole process comfortable, and always available for any questions or changes required. Highly recommend Gavin and the Euro sporting group for customer service, tournament organisation and facilities are the best by far

The Blackpool Cup Rocks
Our Girls really enjoyed their 1st visit to the Blackpool Cup, from the fabulous opening ceremony to the well organised football tournament. We would definitely recommend that all teams should give the Blackpool Cup a try as it will give them memories for a lifetime

Well organised and fun for the team
It was great to experience a full weekend of football. The opening ceremony sets the tone for the weekend, it's about kids enjoying the game.
The 5 mins of fame makes all the difference, especially when all teams work hard over both days.

A well run and very enjoyable experience. Only 2 negatives; not enough games on the 1st day and the standard of mid-level accommodation wasn't very good.

We guarantee 5 games over the 2 days, so 3 Sat and 2 Sun or vice versa, some teams like to have the Saturday with only 2 games as it gives them time to sample some of the amazing attractions in Blackpool on the Saturday. But I will pass your comment regarding the number of matches onto the match schedule team and if they have more teams with similar feedback look to change for 2024

Gavin was really helpful from the start. As soon as I contacted him for some information for the Holland cup he was very responsive and helpful. His correspondence all the way through from first contact to passing out necessary vital tournament info just before was second to none. He was also easy to reach on both email and WhatsApp. I would highly recommend a trip to one of Euro-sportrings tournaments.
