Kate understood what my issue was and thought it was an interesting situation. She compared it with her own boat trailer and between the two of us we decided that a manufacturer would be best to address the question.

She also thought others probably are in the same situation and would benefit from posting the discussion.

Etrailer is a very good company offering great products and support. I have had a few interactions with Etrailer and Robin in particular, his customer relations are top notch. Highly recommend Etrailer.

Robin was knowledgeable about the products I needed.

I asked a question, which was answered, but Jameson also added a good usage tip that rendered my original question moot and saved me a couple of bucks. Appreciated.

They advised me the wrong item several times to order . The did not show or tell me to get the existing model number on all parts before ordering the correct part so I had to return most of the ordered .

All I needed to know

I go to checkout a cart with a few lighting fixtures, mounts, and connector pigtails. It says some message about not being able to ship to my address. A little while later, I learn the items need to be picked up from a pick-up partner and all of them are 30+ miles away. I will not recommend this site to anyone after this. If you're going to have it for sale online it needs to ship or you're wasting people's time.

I communicated prior to ordering and received a "looks good to me". So I ordered and now I have to return half my order and they are going to charge me outrageous shipping prices to return products that were incorrect when they refused to actually assist me in the first place. I wanted to cancel an order from the same day and somehow they managed to ship it within hours when my first order took several days to ship. The company clearly doesn't care about customer service and I am simply looking to warn future customers of this. If you aren't certain what you need, find a local shop. The extra cost will ultimately be savings compared to the return policy and frustration acquired from using etrailer.

Jesse M promptly answered my question concerning why Advent A/C units are not compatible with systems before 2024. He also answered my follow-up question about installing an Advent as a second unit in parallel with my existing 10-year-old system (yes, it's okay).

The plastic blue caps both broke. It is a 15 ft pound torque. I had both hand tight. I am a aircraft mechanic and electrical engineer with 40 years of experience. You cannot buy the blue caps from etrailer or Dexter. The rear seals both spun in the hub. They should be press fit into the hub and rotate around the spindle. I originally had Tiedown Engineering and loved them. The caps screwed into the hub. They no longer make them. So we are stuck with Dexter. Dexter's priority is how much the CEO makes. I am disappointed that etrailer does not demand that Dexter make replacement caps for their product.

This place is horrible. The customer service is terrible and don’t even think about trying to cancel an order without calling Mon-Friday. I placed an order on a Saturday and realized that it would not work for me but because there is no way to cancel it, they sent it out in spite of a bunch of emails I sent to cancel. So after I got a hold of them they emailed a return authorization however I would have to PAY THE SHIPPING TO RETURN IT. Customer service was terrible. I will never buy anything from them again. Never had this problem with Trailer Jacks. I’ll give them my business from now on.

I love etrailer.com. They have great customer service, quick shipping, and great prices, plus they are from right here in Missouri.

The advice was great, service was friendly however, they took a long time to respond. Weeks. Unfortunately I ordered the part elsewhere.

The video Chris linked was very good in showing the cameras were not obstructed.

I glued shiny side up tinfoil to the back of the mirror to reflect the turn signal through the lens on the extended mirror so the turn signal is visible from the front of the vehicle.

I got what I ordered paid for shipping part was wrong wanted to return it and they wanted 4 times the amount to return their return policy is clearly designed to make sure you keep their product if I was to return my item with shipping cost I would not get any money back and they would just resell it they also have a restock fee that is quite large all I can say if you order through them make damn sure you have the right parts because of this policy I will never use them again!!!!!!

Etrailer provided superb customer service. My Draw-Tite hidden hitch was delivered in a couple days and fit perfectly as described. They provided clear insulation instructions. When I noticed a manufacturer defect in my removable receiver, which prevented me from using it, I notified Etrailer and they handled the issue with the manufacturer and had them send me a new receiver in short time. I highly recommend Etrailer!
