In the spring of 2012, we launched our outpatient clinic, in addition to the alternative diagnostics we had previously. At that time, we started with only 4 clinics: Occupational Health, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Urology. Then in the fall of 2012, we opened our blood and urine testing laboratory, which, thanks to our developments, now offers more than 400 different laboratory tests and laboratory screenings. We also provide special blood tests that are not available in the state healthcare system. There is no queuing or waiting. In a cultured environment, with kind and attentive assistance, we await our Dear Guests!
In 2015 our medical aesthetic department was expanded with the world's unique and market-leading Fotona Medical Laser, with which we can perform not only aesthetic, but also urological, gynecological and ENT interventions. This year, we handed over our Featured Operator, who is also capable of performing outpatient surgeries. You can find out about the list of our surgeries on our website or by phone. Also this year, we launched our Pediatric Health Center with 15 specialties. Our Snoring Center with 4 different methods. Our Incontinence Center and our International Vaccination Center, where we provide the necessary vaccinations for those wishing to travel, regardless of where they are in the world.
In 2016 we launched our comprehensive screening center, within which we offer more than 100 types of screening options, for children, adults, the elderly, Managers by specialty or even focusing specifically on one problem. With our laboratory screenings, we can also offer a completely comprehensive screening using only a blood test.
In the year of 2019, the building underwent external and internal renovation, and the first phase of decorative lighting was implemented. A passenger elevator was designed, thanks to which Guests with limited mobility can more easily reach our orders on the floor. The reception area became more spacious, and the reception area and the entire building received a new design. Our medical aesthetics department was expanded with two laser devices. Alma Q laser and the Soprano Ice platinum device, with which we can effectively perform anti-wrinkle and skin tightening facial treatments, permanent hair removal and tattoo removal. We currently have the most comprehensive and widest range of laser solutions in the county. Our medical lasers represent the highest standard in the world.
In 2020 we launched complete dental, skull panoramic X-ray and CT diagnostics. We offer 27 types of adult specialist appointments and 11 types of pediatric specialist appointments to our customers. We provide 495 types of laboratory tests as a blood collection point. Our new features: DEXA bone density test, visual field test, professional laser treatments, NST test for expectant mothers, Sleep apnea test. In August, we opened a new ENT clinic.
By the year of 2022 the Erzsébet Fürdő Medical Center has reached a significant milestone. Our healthcare range has been expanded with a new location and new services at 34. Besenyői street, with the complete renovation of the former Black Tracy building. At the beginning of 2022, a Pathology laboratory was established, and in December we opened our Erzsébet Fürdő Examination and Minor Surgery Center on the ground floor. With the expansion of our range of services, we can now also provide you with colonoscopy and gastroscopy. In the fall of 2023, we opened our Ophthalmology Surgery Center at Besenyői street, in Erzsébet Fürdő Medical. IOL surgeries, minor eye surgeries and plastic surgeries are also available in an exclusive environment, in collaboration with experienced doctors and the most modern technology. We have at expanded our ophthalmology services at Erzsébet Fürdő Centre: including OCT examinations, YAG laser treatments and macular degeneration treatments with injections into the eyes. Three beautiful panoramic clinics have been created in our glass dome. Our new vitamin infusion therapy has been installed here.
In 2024 the newest member of the Erzsébet Fürdő Group, the Erzsébet Fürdő One-Day Surgery Center located at Fém street, Miskolc, opened in July, where we perform a wide range of one-day surgical procedures.

In November, I underwent a planned inguinal hernia surgery, which was preceded by a detailed medical history review, ultrasound examination, and consultations with the surgeon and anesthesiologist. Since I live abroad, it wasn’t easy to find a suitable date, but the customer service representative, Alexandra, was flexible and very helpful throughout the process.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Iván Karaffa. Everything was perfect: the care I received, the nurses’ work, and the environment, which is equivalent to a 5-star hotel. Meals were arranged through the local restaurant.
Family members have the option to stay overnight (for an additional fee). Although we didn’t take advantage of this, my wife was able to wait there the entire time and visit me in my room as needed. While waiting, coffee, tea, and a comfortable lounge area were available.
The owner, Gábor Mohácsi, personally checked in on me twice to ensure I was satisfied with the nurses’ care and everything else. It’s evident that he keeps an eye on every detail.
