I’ve been here for a little over a year and have gotten the chance to know rly cool ppl, not all have been cool of course it’s the internet after all, there are trolls everywhere. But from personal experience, customer service has been GOATED and more proactive than ever when it comes to keeping the site SFW and ethical. Tbh mods have been actively asking for our feedback, taking the time to make surveys, ACTUALLY listening to us by making progressive changes and helping us when needed. Notably big shoutout to Stella she’s an angel 💗 I encountered a troll last week and was super anxious about him blaming me for his actions but she took the time to hear out my situation in detail, she actually trusted and stood by me. I felt bad as I didn’t want to bother her with my situation but she was super empathetic while remaining professional, she not only helped me but also made me feel heard 🥲💕

I do notice a difference when it comes to the site now vs 1 year ago and I would say the standard for the behavior that is and isn’t deemed acceptable on the site is definitely getting higher as time goes on, which is great. To me this signals that the platform is trustworthy, a platform without standards for its users’ actions wouldn’t be reliable nor ethical and I myself definitely would not be using it for so long if it weren’t like this. It’s great that the anti-NSFW and anti-bullying rules are getting stricter as it prioritizes our safety. So ye overall I’m truly glad I can trust the platform to have my back, thank you guys :]

I was in a really tough position, going through the steps of getting an un banned from a false accusation and the support staff (specifically Stella and Sally) were able to help me throughout the process. Epal is a wonderful platform to find people to chat and game with. It also acts as a good source of income for people that might not be able to find jobs.

I think the site definitely has a lot to improve on, highly focusing on combatting trolls and people breaking the rules!

I met cool people and made so much good memories on epal. We play games and watch movies and honestly makes me so happy, I get to share my interests and be myself. Fake Profiles Everywhere
Roughly 90% of the platform appears to be fabricated. Profiles use AI-generated anime or "real person" imagery, and voices are clearly AI-generated. It strongly suggests the site is inflating engagement with fake accounts. The remaining profiles? Many appear to be the same small group of people running multiple accounts - you can tell just by comparing their voices.

Inflated & Fraudulent Rankings
Take League of Legends: the top rank is held by a fraction of a fraction of the global playerbase. On ePal, virtually every single profile claims it. Same story for Valorant, CS2, COD, Marvel Rivals - you name it. The only realistic explanation is mass use of purchased accounts.

If you sign up as an epal to earn money, be prepared for harassment, unsolicited explicit behavior on camera, invasive questions, and worse. When you try to end a session, customers will deliberately drag it out - and if you push back, they'll leave negative reviews to punish you.

Even if you manage to make money, here's what actually happens: The platform takes 20% of direct order earnings - and an even larger cut from gifts and chat rooms
Customers are also charged 10–20% when they top up their wallet

Zero Support, Zero Accountability
I submitted harassment reports backed by video evidence and screenshots. I received no response. A friend of mine received vile messages from a user - and when she reacted, she was the one penalized. The platform appears to operate with no meaningful moderation, no enforcement of its own policies, and no regard for user safety under US or EU law.

Bottom Line
