Engineers Collective Omdömen

I can't understand why this supplier has a rating of only 3.6! I almost didn't buy a Nomadiq BBQ and accessories because of this rating, BUT I'm so glad I did! The service, communications, product, and delivery have been outstanding! I can't say enough about this supplier. Great job, guys 👍👍👍

Gearwrench® 8 Pc. 12 Point Indexing Combination SAE Wrench Set

After a worldwide search for this now discontinued and seemingly unobtainable wrench set, I discovered the Engineers Collective in Sept 2026.

Given they were literally the only site showing stock anywhere in the world, I was a little skeptical, so I read a few reviews, with a couple stating they "only drop-ship". Considering this set is hard to find now, this didn't give me much hope.

But on closer inspection the website provided a contact form, AND a phone number.

I left a message, and received a prompt call back from Hugh, who explained they don't drop ship, and all stocked items shown on their website, are already in NZ, either with them, or at the local NZ distributors/vendors.

As many of these companies don't sell directly to the public, The Engineers Collective, turned out to be an excellent portal to access these vendors, with dependable stock-on-hand data, providing reliable and fast delivery times.

I was able to purchase the SAE set, and enquired about the metric set. Hugh advised he would call Gearwrench to double check, and would phone be back in 5 minutes. Less than 5 minutes later, Hugh called back, advised this product was never imported to NZ, and is indeed discontinued, but he'd found some leads to suppliers in Australia for me.

In conclusion, being able to quickly speak with an intelligent human, who did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it, is a seemingly rare commodity these days, and a pleasant and welcome surprise when it happens.

My tool set arrived 2 working days later, (delivered to Waiheke Island).

Would give zero if I could.
This company are literally scammers. I refunded a product, and they took the product back and kept my money.
They literally are operating illegally, I would avoid at all costs. -1000000 experience

I brought a pair of pliers from Engineers Collective and received them a few days later at a rural address, fast and hassle free to deal with.
Excellent communication with shipping. Good product. Thanks very my EC will definitely return:)

I purchased some turnbuckles and had one fail while tensioning. Called multiple times to lodge a complaint for a collection and a refund but never returned my call. Also emailed but still no responce. Finally spoke to someone who said someone else would sort but then took another week for another person to get back to me. Still waiting on collection of faulty materials and to get a refund on these products. Would not recomends as the company is just a third party clipping the ticket on the way through from the supplier.

Great service and fast delivery. I purchased and bench grinder and it arrived overnight, what more could you ask for.
