We’re sorry the HD Tape-Ins looked different from what you expected when you first opened the package. We completely understand why seeing the shape of the hair before installation could make you worry that something had gone wrong.

Thank you for sharing the photos and video with our customer care team. What you’re seeing is actually part of the hand-tied construction of the HD base. Each section of hair is passed through the lace and secured by hand, which means short return hairs can be visible around the knots. This structure helps create the lift and fullness at the crown .

You may also notice some bending or unevenness when the pieces first arrive. This can happen while the hair is folded during packing and shipping, but it does not affect the product itself. Before installation, you can gently smooth the area with a flat iron at around **120°C / 250°F** to help it return to its intended shape.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad you enjoyed the color and ease of installation, and we’re sorry that some parts of the set didn’t perform the way you expected.

With lighter blonde shades, violet pigment from purple shampoo can show much more quickly and visibly than expected. Different purple shampoos also vary greatly in pigment strength, so a highly pigmented formula or longer contact time can leave a noticeable purple cast.

Extensions may also react differently from your natural hair to the same toning product. Differences in strand texture, porosity, and previous care can all affect how quickly the pigment is absorbed, which is why we recommend testing purple shampoo on a small section first and keeping the contact time very short.

The change in texture you noticed after washing can also be influenced by the shampoo and aftercare. Unlike natural hair, extensions don’t receive oils from the scalp, so they rely more on conditioning and moisture after washing. A stronger toning shampoo, especially without enough conditioning afterward, can leave the hair feeling drier or rougher than before.

The rippling along the tape can happen when the weft remains folded during shipping. Before installation, you can gently press the area where the tape meets the weft with a flat iron at around 120°C / 250°F to help it lay flat again.

Our Tape-In extensions are made with 100% Virgin Remy human hair. Just like natural hair, strand texture and thickness can vary, so the extensions may feel different from your own hair and may respond differently to the same styling technique or heat setting.

When curling, working in smaller sections and allowing each curl to cool completely before brushing it out can make a noticeable difference in how well the style holds. Using too much conditioner or oil right before styling can also make the hair more slippery and affect curl retention.

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and completely understand how frustrating this must feel, especially after only a few weeks of wear.

Based on the light pink discoloration shown at the ends, this type of color change is usually linked to an external chemical reaction rather than the hair being dyed red underneath or a normal color-fading issue. Blonde extensions can sometimes react to ingredients found in products such as sunscreen sprays, tanning products, certain purple shampoos or toners, hard water/mineral buildup, pool or ocean water, chlorine, and other chemicals. These reactions often show most visibly on lighter blonde shades and may appear pink, peach, orange, or brassy, especially at the ends where the hair is most exposed.

We understand you mentioned using K18 purple shampoo and Living Proof color-safe products, however, even color-safe products or environmental exposure can sometimes interact with blonde extension hair differently than natural growing hair.

We have already offered compensation as a gesture of support, but we’d still like to better understand what may have caused the discoloration. If you’re open to it, please share whether the extensions were exposed to sunscreen spray, pool water, ocean water, tanning products, heat protectants, or any toning/color products during the 21 days of wear. Our team would be happy to review this further and help with the best next step.

We’re glad to hear you found the hair quality good and that the band worked well for fine hair. That invisible, lightweight base is one of the key reasons we designed this set the way we did.

Our clip-ins are intentionally made with a lighter gram weight for thin and fine hair. For this hair type, more grams are not always better. Heavier extensions can feel bulky, create tension at the roots, and may place unnecessary stress on natural hair. Our goal is to offer soft fullness, better comfort, and a more natural blend without weighing down delicate hair.

That said, we completely understand that if you are looking for a very full or dramatic volume result, this set may feel too light compared with thicker traditional clip-ins. Endaring Hair was created especially for thin and fine-haired customers who want extensions that feel comfortable, discreet, and confidence-boosting in everyday wear.

We’re also sorry to hear the hair felt dry and rough after a couple of months. With all human hair extensions, dryness can happen over time since the hair is no longer receiving natural oils from the scalp, but we understand how disappointing that is when you’ve taken good care of them.

Regarding the texture: Because our Virgin Remy hair is 100% natural and minimally processed to ensure a long lifespan (1–2 years), the strands are naturally stronger and thicker than standard salon hair. This "strength" is what allows it to handle heat styling so well, but we understand that it can feel less soft straight out of the package.

A quick tip: Many of our stylists recommend a gentle co-wash (washing with conditioner only) before the first use. This often "relaxes" the natural cuticle, making it much softer and easier to tease for bridal updos.
