Purchased two sweaters. The first one came apart in the wash, the first time I washed it. They said they would send me a replacement once they received the faulty one. I had to chase this up several times. That was weeks ago and I'm still waiting.
Not only are their garments sub standard but their customer service is non existent.
Absolute garbage on both fronts.

Unbelievable that these people have the monopoly on school uniforms in the northeast. It is immoral how much they charge, hope long they take to fulfill orders. The quality is poor too.
My order took nearly 2 months. They tried to deliver today with no warning and have taken it back as I wasn't in.

I placed my order on 29th June and have had to wait an unacceptable amount of time to receive it. After waiting all this time, I have now received the wrong goods. I ordered navy trousers but was sent black instead.

It is incredibly frustrating to wait months for an order, only to receive the wrong item and then have to contact customer services to get the mistake corrected. I have already had issues with delays and was previously told that my order was being packed and would be with me within a couple of days, so to then receive the wrong item is even more disappointing.

Customers should not have to wait this long for an order, especially when the goods received are not even what was ordered.

I am now having to spend more time contacting the company and arranging a return for an error that was not mine. I really hope this is resolved quickly, but based on my experience so far, I would not recommend ordering from Emblematic.

Very disappointing experience with Emblematic School Uniform.

I placed an order approximately 40 days ago and, to date, it has still not been delivered. I was initially advised that because the order was placed outside the cut-off date, delivery could take longer than 28 days. I understood this and was prepared for some delay. However, 40 days have now passed and I still have neither the uniform nor a definite dispatch or delivery date.

What has made the experience particularly frustrating is the lack of meaningful communication. When I contacted customer service for an update, I was simply told that I “should receive an email update this week.” After waiting this long for essential school uniform, I expected a much more helpful response and a clear explanation of what is happening with my order.

I fully appreciate that delays can occur, particularly during busy periods, but customers should not be left waiting indefinitely without a clear timeframe. School uniforms are essential items that children need for school, so delays of this length have a real impact on families.

I have now raised a formal complaint and requested a definite update and resolution. Unfortunately, based on my experience so far, I am very disappointed with both the length of the delay and the standard of customer service.

I hope Emblematic takes this feedback seriously and improves its communication with parents when orders cannot be fulfilled within the expected timeframe.

I wouldn’t even rate them 1* if I had a choice placed my order 18th July 2026 it is now 25th sept and I still haven’t received all of my items! Tried contacting numerous times with emails not even acknowledged this company has shocking customer service currently sat at 55minutes on hold on phone call to them to find out where my order is! Absolutely appalling for a school wear shop!

Why do schools use this company?! It's awful. Delivery takes ages, sizing is extremely small (go up about 3 sizes from the measurements, seriously) and they don't offer exchanges! At £5.99 a pop delivery on top!
Meanwhile I can get embroidered work wear up the road in a couple of days. Make it make sense.

Do not use this company - I ordered my children’s school uniform 32 days ago. They ignored my emails. After contacting them, and waiting half an hour they advised me that my order was still processing! I therefore cancelled my order.

Please avoid this company, I ordered school uniform on the 2nd week of the six week holidays and it hasn't arrived in time for school starting over a month later. I have spent hours trying to call and was met with poor service when I went into store.

A date for delivery should be provided at the point of order or customs should be advised that the uniform would not arrive in time for school starting if this is the case.

I'm still waiting for the items and have had to spend more money by ordering elsewhere.

Have not changed in 20 years. The north east schools should really give the uniform contact to another company. This company cannot keep up with the orders or 28 day delivery promise if ordered before the cut off. Always blame their suppliers but was the same in 2010 (I have 5 years of email evidence from then 2010 to 2015) and is the same now. Why cant the schools see these reviews and let another company have the badge rights so parents can go other places to get uniform.

Ordered 2 embroidered jumpers and PE top at the start of August just after the kids broke up thinking I would get ahead and have my order in-time, how wrong I was.

Jumped on the website to see that last order time to have uniform before September start was around 20th of July! Even before the kids had even broke up (terrible) Anyway we had come to the understanding that we would probably not get them In time and was okay thinking 2 weeks late we would probably get it 2 weeks after kids went back, how wrong I was again.

Emailed at the end of the first week back and was told delivery to me within the next week. This week came and went by and still no order. I emailed again. NO REPLY. I emailed again days later . NO REPLY. 3 weeks after kids went back and 50+ days later I decided to finally ring. I sat on hold for 25 minutes before someone answered to be told DPD delivery on Friday and no apologies. Friday came by and no dpd delivery information. Saturday I got a email from dpd saying order was coming…. FINALLY. Order came today and guess what.. only a PE top in the bag and no jumpers . I have never dealt with a company so incompetent before and honestly don’t know how they are in business.

Nearly 2 months and still no jumpers . My child didn’t have a nice jumper to wear for his photo day either.

Ordered from here as its the only place my sons school pe uniform comes from. I ordered on 30th June and still waiting on 23 Sept, when I phoned 3 times previously they've not been in stock 3rd time I was told they'd been dispatched but 4 days later still nothing and no email notification either. I'm now currently on my 4th phone call and have been on hold 45 mins

21 days since I ordered shoes for my son, no respons on my emails. O information prior order that it can take so long. Now requested again on advising me when can I expect my order, if that takes so long I will have to just buy different shoes and ask them for refund. Not good experience.

For some reason my kids school has made all parents use this sham of a company to get school uniforms. We ordered the uniform in July and still don’t have it. School starts in 4 days so it’s unlikely we will get it.
Every email or phone call we are told “It’s processing and you will have it within the week” But we just never get it.
Our son has Autism and sensory issues so we really wanted the uniform well before he started so he could wear it and get used to it and to make sure it was the right material for him. That’s not happening now either.
Terrible customer service and just a really bad company.
