Very helpful from start to finish. When I asked questions, they were answered truthfully. Car came as was described in the description. Great company to buy from.

From beginning to end, the experience was outstanding. I received a customized video tour of the car, and when I mentioned I needed it quickly, they went above and beyond to have it ready in just a few days. The car arrived with a fresh service and MOT, looking pristine. They even provided transportation to and from my home after the viewing. I highly recommend them and would definitely return. They've only gone and done it again. After having 2 cars off these beauts already I had to take mother down to have a browse. Matt was a star. Showed her a few cars within her preferences and in less than 10 mins she'd picked the one for her. They sorted everything out for her and she was able to drive away a couple days later with a nice polish new mot and service. To say she's happy is an understatement. These guys just go above and beyond every time. Thanks again both.

Brilliant Experience from start to finish was given a personal video tour of the car i told them that i needed it ready ASAP they bent over backwards to ensure it was ready within a few days when it arrived it had fresh service MOT and looked like new throughout they even drove me too and from my house after viewing highly recommended would use again 5 stars

Another very straightforward no nonsense

I recently purchased a Mercedes B-Class from Elliot Jarvis and as a self confessed motoring idiot, I can honestly say that Steve and Matt could not do enough for me.
Firstly, the car is pristine and has all the vital documentation. I received the car with a full 12 months MOT and 12 months warrenty. The guys are so professional and knowledgeable and they clearly take great pride in their business.
After the sale was complete, they gave me the keys and also handed me a bottle of Prosecco and thanked me for choosing to purchase from them. Then when I went out to the car, they had decorated it with a big red bow! These personal touches made me feel like a valued customer and once again showed me how much pride these two have in their wonderful family run business.
Upon driving away, Steve said to me, “if there’s anything you need just phone me or come back to us and we’ll help” and boy have I taken advantage of that kind offer!
It turns out, trying to drive a Mercedes when you probably shouldn’t even have a driving licence is no walk in the park!
The first time I returned, I was desperately trying to figure out why the car was booping at me. I knew it wasn’t a fault noise but I couldn’t figure out what it was trying to tell me.
Steve (who I imagine is quite a busy man) drove around in circles with me for around 45 minutes to help me identify the booping. Turns out the car was warning me of danger areas near by which there are many of in Plymouth. We switched it off and I drove away with my sanity in tact.
The next time I returned was for the windscreen washer spay things. They were working on the rear windscreen but not on the front. Steve said to bring the car down and he’d have a look. As it happens, they were in full working condition but I wasn’t not pressing the button in far enough to activate the screen wash pumps. Off I went again, feeling daft but with another problem solved.
Why would I write this in my review and embarrass myself you ask? Well, because time is more valuable to me than anything and these two can’t give you enough of theirs. They have been so helpful and patient with me where other dealers iv used just simply don’t care after a sale. Steve said to me “the only stupid question is the one you don’t ask” so if they’ve judged me (which they absolutely should) they’ve done it silently and made me feel like no problem is too small for them to help with.
In a nutshell, a fantastic purchase, fantastic service and wonderful people! Thanks guys!

Not one to change my car often, but the service, advice and ease of buying a car from Elliott Jarvis Cars, made a potentially stressful purchase easy and enjoyable. Not only did they give up a Sunday to allow me to test drive and look around their cars, there was no pressure sell, they were honest, no time pressures and even made me a cuppa! Great communication throughout, and happy to work around my timings to pick the vehicle up. A lovely touch with the ribbon, bottle of bubbles and the support in getting the car sorted, taxed and on the road. Would highly recommend and makes the pleasure of buying your next car a pleasure. I went to have a look at a car and get a px price did the deal that day and picked the car up 4 days later . Very pleasant family garage , great handover ribbons n a bottle too , drove 800 miles at the weekend and no problems with car so they justify great reviews

I purchased a car from Elliot Javis Cars in May 2024 for £5,000. By March 2025, visible lacquer peel appeared, and both myself and the dealer acknowledged the car had been repainted before sale. An independent inspection confirmed poor paint preparation.

The dealer offered £100, which doesn’t come close to the cost of repair. The car is now worth under £1,000. The resolution has been disappointing.

Great service from the second you walk in. Really attentive, nothing is too much trouble, great family dynamic. Excellent quality well looked after vehicles. Walked away with my new car the same day. Honestly could not be happier. Thanks Matt was great to meet you all.
