I knew about this store, in particular, because they helped me out with an appliance package after Home Depot had promised delivery and the day before they were supposed to deliver, they delayed my order for a month! You can't go wrong with the Cookeville, TN store. Matt was extra helpful.

Bought a fridge and stove on the 90 days same as cash. Turns out it’s not actually 90 days same as cash. They charge you tax every time you make a payment. The larger the amount you pay the higher the taxes. That’s where they get they get you. Paying off in 90 days just assures them they get paid fast. Other than that service was great and the appliances are great.

The Cookeville manager was rude and made it a point to let me know customer is wrong and store right, when I went to pick up an item I ordered and paid for online 7 hours after my purchase even though the item was at the store I have to wait for an email telling me when I can pick up! Ridiculous I ordered from Amazon got same price and delivered before I got “the magic email” will NEVER shop at this store again and will make sure I tell all my friends. Manager is a major jerk!

The price was very good I’ll give them that… but the item I bought I had it shipped to the store , I went to pick it up and they had already taken it out of the box it’s a Christmas present and I can’t wrap the item without the box it came in….

Electronic Express in Cookeville is a complete dumpster fire and a stain on Tennessee businesses. We dropped $12,000 on appliances, fooled by their fake reviews and the pathetic myth that a Tennessee-owned company gives a damn about customer service. Total scam! They butchered the installation, spitting on every promise they made and leaving us stranded. They shoved damaged appliances full of dents and scratches down our throats, banking on us being too stupid to notice their junk. An assistant manager spewed lies about fixing it, only for them to call the next day and demand more money for installation we already paid for upfront. To top it off, we spoke to a manager at the Nashville location who was outright rude, treating us like garbage for daring to complain. Their customer service is a disgusting sham—dishonest, useless, and infuriatingly arrogant. Avoid this pitiful excuse for a store unless you love being scammed and disrespected.
By the way, Ethan was a pleasure to work with and tried to help - but the others in the store was a waste of time and effort. I noticed that the owner responds to these reviews but offers nothing to address issues in his response. Only saying things like “it’s unfortunate” or “we hope to do better to regain your trust”.
My plan is if we don’t resolve this issue in the next few days, I’m going to load $12k worth of high end appliance on my trailer, haul them to the Cookeville store and camp out in their parking lot with a huge banner saying how I was scammed and sell my appliance in the parking lot for penny’s on the dollar. It has absolutely nothing to do with the cost it’s all about principal.

I went to the Electronic Express in Cookeville Tennessee on May 7, 2025, and bought a washing machine. Having to drive into town puzzled me since nearly all bigger establishments will let the consumer pay over the phone. When I asked, I was told " company policy." After paying for it they delivered it on the 9th. The delivery men brought the machine into the house, but didn't install it. I installed it because I was told there was an extra charge to have them install it. After they left, I hooked everything up on the machine, and tried to start it, but all it did was make a grinding noise. After looking in the manual at the self-help section, I felt like I could get it to work. I started it, and it looked like it was working. But as fast as the water was pouring into the machine, it was coming out the bottom just as fast. After shutting everything down, I spent the next 40 minutes mopping up an inch of water in my laundry room, and using a mountain of towels. I also looked under the machine, and was shocked to see the brackets holding the main motor for the machine was broken with one completely missing. I right away called the store, and was informed there was nothing they could do about the situation until the following Monday as far as the return. And the manager also told me they couldn't pick up the machine until the 9th. Even though I hadn't had the machine more than an hour, and it poured water out the bottom the Manager was very cold about the fact that it was again " company policy". The delivery men picked the machine up on May 9, and the Manager at the store told me that the refund process would begin when they got the machine back to Nashville to be checked over. I called on May 16, 2025 to see how the return process was going, and found out the process had not even begun. After much talk the return process began on the 16th. However, after looking on the return invoice I was puzzled to see that I was charged one cent for the delivery guys NOT to install my machine. I was also charged one cent for a delivery charge when I was told the day I bought it there was no delivery charge. And when I mentioned it I was told if I disputed it the return process would take longer. One cent may not seem like a lot of money, but if it is collected off of numerous people, it would eventually add up to a sizeable sum. And besides, it seemed like a slap in the face considering all that I went through.
Everything said, this establishment is not a place I would ever do business with again. Based on my experience this place has no regard for customer satisfaction. If Electronic Express has a flashy sale, I would be wary as far as the service after the sale. They will take your money in a heartbeat, but if you have an issue with the shoddy merchandise, good luck getting anything accomplished on your behalf. Buyer beware!
(Update): I finally received back to my credit card a refund for the broke- from- the- factory-washing machine. But the curious thing is they kept two cents of my refund. They gave me a line of gibberish about it was a line item charge, and the other cent was something to do with fuel. Double speak to placate me. Now people reading this might think I am being petty about this small amount, but regardless of what these yahoos are telling me, the money doesn't just vanish. Someone, somewhere is collecting the hard currency. And over a broad span of customers being skimmed for that amount, it will add up. All I can say is the "corporate rules" that dictate how this place treats their customers has driven this customer to do business elsewhere. Caveat emptor

We found a phenomenal deal on an 85” TCL online. I called the store and had the pleasure of speaking with Cade Gatling. He said the TV was in stock. We were greeted on arrival at the store and met Cade. He answered all our questions, made the purchase process easy and insured our TV was loaded safely and secured for the drive home. He offered to follow me home to help unload. I assured him that I had that taken care of. Cade especially but other staff as well went Above and Beyond our expectations. We will return.
Ordered what I needed and reminded me on several occasions that it had arrived and was available to be picked up.
We're diligent and careful about loading into my SUV. Took extra time to unjam the seatbelt that was in the way and made sure it was slid gar enough in to close easily without touching back window.
I also, wanted a Samsung tablet and the one I wanted was not available so the employee went the extra mile and found a replacement tablet that was a newer version and $100 less.
My only disappointment was that my tablet was not included in the 18 month promotion. Now I'm concerned about how much interest I will be paying on the tablet and how my monthly payment will be applied.
