Hypervolt installation
Had my Hypervolt installed a couple of weeks ago. Excellent job from start to finish. First Sam was very quick to respond to any questions I had and work around different options for the install. The fitting itself was excellent - no wires visible on the inside or outside of my property and all done within a short period of time to a very high standard. I would highly recommend.

Sam Harris installed a Zappi charger…
Sam Harris installed a Zappi charger for us. The physical installation itself was completed, but the team didn’t have the skill set (or time on the day) to set up and connect the MyEnergi app, which is an important part of using the charger properly.
I’ve contacted them multiple times since the installation and, while I’ve been told they would come back to complete the app setup, it’s now been several months and nothing has happened.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I’m sorry you feel dissatisfied, and I’d like to clarify the situation so future readers have a clear and accurate understanding.
The physical installation and commissioning of your Zappi charger were completed on 15 August 2025. The charger was powered, tested, and operational on the day. During the visit, our engineer advised that the agreed appointment time was repeatedly interrupted, which limited the opportunity to complete additional walkthrough support. While we are always happy to help, we do require customers to be reasonably available during the allocated time in order to complete all requested items.
The issue raised afterward relates specifically to the myenergi app scheduling functionality, which is a manufacturer software issue, not an installation or commissioning fault. As the charger was purchased directly from myenergi, all app behaviour, firmware, and warranty support must be handled by them.
To demonstrate our proactive involvement, the timeline is as follows:
23–28 July 2025 – Installation dates were discussed and confirmed, with flexibility offered to accommodate availability.
15 August 2025 – Charger replacement and commissioning completed on site.
31 August 2025 (16:51) – You contacted us requesting clarification on app scheduling and safety following subsequent Powerwall works by another contractor.
1 September 2025 (07:43) – We advised that the charger should not be connected directly to a Powerwall and explained that, based on images received, the installation appeared to lack surge protection and the correct upstream RCD protection, while clearly noting this assessment was limited by the information available.
1 September 2025 (10:00–14:24) – We requested the charger serial number and contacted myenergi directly to request a remote review of the charger’s connectivity and scheduling functionality, confirming this to you the same day.
9 September 2025 (16:31) – We confirmed that the issue had been formally raised with myenergi, outlined the corrective steps required on site, and advised that once the charger was disconnected from the Powerwall (or a date was arranged for this), we could return and, if necessary, contact myenergi together during a visit.
When we attended site subsequently, we found that the charger had been modified and reconnected to a Tesla Powerwall by a third party, which rendered the installation non-compliant and outside the scope of our original works. From the images provided by our engineer, the charger appeared to lack both surge protection and the correct upstream RCD protection; however, we were clear that this assessment was based on a single image and could not be confirmed definitively without further investigation. This was explained over email, along with the corrective work required before we could proceed further. Coordinating with or rectifying other contractors’ work is not included within a standard visit fee, which was also made clear.
As stated in our email dated 9 September 2025 at 16:31, we asked to be notified once the charger had been disconnected from the Powerwall or when a date had been arranged for this to happen. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response on this specific point. As soon as that work is completed or a date is confirmed, we are able to return and move things forward.
We are always happy to help once the system is compliant and the manufacturer has completed their review. We take pride in our workmanship and transparency, and we stand by the timeline and guidance provided throughout this case.

Superb company and install
I ordered my Hypervolt Pro 3 directly through Hypervolt, with Elecology as the preferred installer — and the whole experience was faultless.
Sam was brilliant via email, making the quote and installation plan effortless and even helping me apply my federation discount quickly and easily.
On installation day, Dave and Dec arrived early, friendly and professional from the moment they arrived. They went above and beyond to help move a few bits for better access, and their workmanship was immaculate — quick, tidy, and absolutely spotless. The charger looks fantastic on the feather boarding, and the finish is first-class.
They took the time to walk me through everything afterwards, from setting up the app to explaining how the breakers work. Their friendliness, attention to detail, and pride in their work really stood out.
A diamond pair of installers and a genuinely smooth, stress-free experience from start to finish. Massive thanks to the whole Elecology team — highly recommended!

Great experience start to finish
Great experience start to finish. 1st to supply quote, with excellent info, offered earliest date for installation. Dan & his assistant arrived on time, explained everything they would be doing. Quick & efficient install, all very clean & tidy – no mess after. Really friendly pair who spent some time helping me to get the app set up & checking all working correctly. Only then they told me it was their 1st GLO installation! Altogether great service & would highly recommend to anyone.

What a great company, the guys turned up dead on time, vey polite
My installation was not an easy one, running a cable through the house to the fuse box under the stairs, drilling through two walls, and running 14 metres of cable, but they made it look easy, very tidy and clean, a good job very well executed
