Tour guide was amazing & simple the best!
Wasn't a huge fan of not having food options as I didn't like some of the meals.
Places we visited was amazing.

It was an excellent experience for my daughter,every day was well organized including nice hotels ,plenty of activities,great interaction with their tour guide. Definitely recommend
to anyone thinking of a trip for their teen.

It was so easy getting ready for this trip. Yes, it did seem overwhelming but EF made it less stressful with the to do list, tour consultants who were able to direct you in the right direction, forums you can join to connect with other group leaders and so on. It was an experience of a lifetime for students and one that I will be doing again in the future.

Before the trip, the communication provided and resources available on the website was excellent. During the trip, I was thrilled with the daily updates teacher chaperones provided and the immediate response the EF team had to my urgent request regarding flight check-in during the extended leg for my daughter. Just superb customer service!

Our tour director Dan Callinan was incredible! He absolutely made our trip. He was INCREDIBLE with students. He put every effort forward to getting to know each student, when everyone was tired he knew exactly how to turn the vibes around, he got the students involved, interested, and curious about the places around him. Students were devastated to leave him. Our driver Alessio was so kind. The students loved him.

Great guide, great locations, and memorable experiences!

The experience as a whole was great, the only thing I was disappointed with was the time left to visit Tokyo - the city and its attractions take a long time and I feel I could not grasp even a bit of it.

All in all a good trip for our daughter. As a parent disappointed with the amount of free time given to the students.

The review is based on a Switzerland + Italy student tour. The tour didn't seem well organized to take advantage of the time the students had as part of the tour in each visited location. While we knew some aspects before booking the tour, such as the limited time the students had in a location, two aspects made things worse. 1. Most of the accommodations were 1+h away from the visited cities, leading to substantial additional time being spent in transit. 2. The tour had baked in non-trivial lunch+self explore time, reducing even further the already limited time the students for learning about the visited locations. Between the two, the tour felt like an opportunity to checkmark that all the locations were visited rather than actually building some memorable experiences and learning opportunities in each location. This tour could be improved by limiting the transit time to only what is needed for moving between the visited cities and engaging/guiding the students throughout more of their visits. I do not recommend this tour as currently structured.

Our daughter went to Switzerland and Italy for 10 days on a trip organized through school. From beginning to end, our experience with EF tours couldn’t be more positive. She got to experience so many memorable moments. Her tour guide was fun and informative and most importantly as a parent, she felt 100% safe at all times. They offer a payment plan for the year leading up to the trip which made it much easier to budget.
We highly recommend EF Tours Canada and will consider signing our other children up when a tour of their interest is presented

Terrible hotels, bad food, lacklustre itinerary.

Incredible experience! Very organized from start to finish. Our group saw so many historical places, we learned so much. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and fun. I will never forget this trip, it was amazing.

This was our first experience with EF Tours and it was fabulous. Great communication before during and after the trip. The tour guide and coach driver were exceptional. Wonderful memories made.

I give 5 stars to our Guide Tour Dave Poulin who was, like last year, extraordinary ! Such a great Tour guide. The best !!! His knowledge is outstanding. He is very flexible too. Amazing guide

There were multiple++ venues listed on the EF Tour itinerary that the travel group leaders did not take the group to. The reason I enrolled my child to take part in this travel group was because of that itinerary; if there were additional/different venues added then that should have been beyond the official venues/itinerary list. Youth were left to figure out their own days/itinerary while leaders participated in their own activities of interest. The youth were told that they could attend (themselves) the venues on the EF Tour itinerary (if desired) which would have required additional funds for entrance (even though those fees were already included in the trip cost). Multiple other issues/concerns which would make this review to extensive to write/read.

Everything was amazing

SIF is my favourite tour. I personally love it so much. Each city has so much to offer. Each city is part of history. The students enjoyed it too. The hotels were nice and clean. Sometimes they were a little far from the city, but safety is number one. Most meals were very good. It was great when at some restaurants, the waiters came around with more food to ensure our students were full. The sights, street food local shopping and new friendships is what the students love. The art, architecture, engineering, history is truly incredible and inspiring for students to continue travelling and exploring new and exciting places.

The bus driver was great. He focused on the road, but as the culture of drivers in Europe is unique, he made us laugh. The students enjoyed him.

The Tour Directors was the best. She was friendly, calm, very knowledgeable and ALWAYS ready to help the teachers and students. She was a ball of positive energy.

Overall, a fabulous excursion and memories for a lifetime.
