Amazing guide! Great tours and overall wonderful experience.
Our tour was great! There was a wide variety of destinations and the restaurants did an excellent job of exposing our students to the cuisine of the countries we visited.
My 16.5 year old son had an amazing time and it is a trip that he will remember for a lifetime! EF Tours made it easy to plan and prepare for the trip with their seamless communication.
Our group consisted of approximately 40 high school students and I was one of 7 chaperones. We saw many beautiful and interesting things (Versailles, Alps, etc.) but we had no idea what was going on from hour to hour. We wish that we had asked for a more detailed itinerary upon arrival as the EF app was too vague (it listed only 2 events/visits per day) and our tour guide would only provide us with immediate information about where we were going. The tour guide said they didn't want to say too much because there would likely be changes to the schedule. This was frustrating as we had to keep telling the students we didn't know how long we would be or when something was going to happen. Our first day in France consisted of a visit to the Louvre. This museum was amazing. However, we had been traveling for 48 hours (due to flight problems) and the tour guide had us running around in circles. We attempted 3 different times to enter the building and we had to go through security twice. Our first meal in Europe was at the food court in the Louvre and it was a baptism by fire for the students. It was hectic! The students didn't realize that they would have to be very assertive in order to place their orders and that there would not be many places to sit. Many of the students were unprepared for the toilet situation (some were free to use, others required payment and none of the students had any coins yet, etc.). I wish we could have prepared/warned them about this prior to entering. Our other visits in Europe were less hectic, but it would have been better if we had a daily schedule instead of the 2 events mentioned per day on the EF app. Many students complained to me that the guide was unapproachable ... I couldn't disagree with them. My last comment concerns that toilets on the buses. We weren't permitted to use them - except for once, when a student had an emergency. If the toilets on the bus cannot be used, I strongly suggest that bathroom breaks/warnings be scheduled by the tour guide.
My son who has never been on a plane, let along out of Canada enjoy everything. He love the authentic food and all the touring sites that were arranged!! I will use EF tours myself when planning a trip!! Thank you 🙏 ❤️
The students had an wonderful time, and having the trip mapped out (transportation, hotels, etc) was amazing. Unfortunately our tour director was a little checked out, so as supervisors we frequently found ourselves scrambling, but overall it was an experience I am confident the students found to be worthwhile.

An incredible itinerary that students really enjoyed. It was well laid out and students really enjoyed the Switzerland experience after the hustle and bustle of Paris. Overall, the trip was excellent, and I couldn't have asked for anything more.
Our EF tour director and, bus drivers and expert local guides were extremely knowledgeable, experienced, professional and personable which made every day manageable and memorable.

We experienced the main parts of Paris - Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, Sacre Couer Basilica, etc. Switzerland was stunning. Amazing castles, mountain vistas and the Lindt Chocolate factory was a hit. A short time in Munich, but visiting Dachau was extremely powerful and impactful lesson in humanity.

This was such an amazing adventure! Our EF tour guide, Johnny, was very knowledgeable and fun. The Swiss fondue / cultural party with alpine horns was the best.
Set the standard very high for any future vacations/visits back to Europe
My 15 year old just returned home from this trip and loved the experience. I've read through quite a few reviews so I thought I would address some of those things in this reviews. This is a busy trip, the first few days are exhausting. You fly overnight and as soon as you land and pick up your bags you immediately go on your first tour day. We had read enough reviews to know this and as long as you know this in advance and know you NEED to sleep on this flight to make it through the first day you'll be fine. The first few days in Paris are jammed packed and tiring, but the things you see will be amazing. Comfortable shoes are a must there is a great deal of walking 15000 to 20000 steps a day. My child loved Switzerland and Germany, the pace was slower, the air fresher and the outdoor scenery amazing. Food during the trip is pretty basic, if you are a picky eater take the opportunity to buy snacks. Although there wasn't a ton of fruit and vegetables, there were some, but my child said there was plenty of opportunities to pop into a shop to buy some fruit or something else. There is some free time and this was my child's favourite thing, having a bit of freedom to explore on their own pace. Although she did go with some close friends the best part that came out of this trip was making new friends within the group. Finally the rooms, in every hotel she stayed, each room, was clean and comfortable. They are not fancy so if your child is used to travelling with you and having five star hotels, this is not what they are going to see. They are small, clean and functional. The last hotel in Germany my daughter loved, lots of hang out space and a cafeteria style restaurant they could get treats at, it seemed to cater specifically to these types of tours. Lastly, I would not hesitate to send my child on one of these trips. I was very confident in the chaperones they were all teachers from her school. She has already signed up for the Grecian Odyssey trip.
