Effortless Swimming Omdömen 

I was looking to improve my swimming skills and found Effortless Swimming. I’ve benefited greatly from incorporating their recommendations. They have a way of presenting critical information that works for me.

This is the place where we can find the best answers and knowledge about how to swim better.

I completed the 8-week Faster Freestyle course at the beginning of 2025 using the printed handouts and online materials. My experience with this course has been truly transformative. The structure—clear explanations, focused drills, and especially Brandon’s videos—made a real difference. The biggest breakthrough for me was learning how to control my kick: what was previously chaotic became precise and intentional. The work on kick timing and the serape effect (week 7) was a turning point, and I still return to those drills regularly.
During the course I made a significant jump, and over the following months and years I continued improving—from around 1:50/100m to about 1:30/100m. More recently, I reached 1:23 for 100m for the first time. The foundation clearly comes from this course. I also continue to follow Brandon’s videos and updates, which remain inspiring and help sustain motivation and progress.

I purchased the "faster-freestyle-course" about 1,5 years ago and am still using the workouts and exercises frequently. Apart from that I am always enjoying new insights, tipps and videos from Brenton. That motivates me to keep on working!

This is indeed great content. The whole structure is well thought out, and I did indeed improve my times in a measurable manner.
The only downside is that part of the value comes from the ability to send in videos of your stroke - which is not easy to get: in my area, you can't film in public pools just like that. I still found the course great and well worth it, but you might want to check on whether you can film yourself while swimming beforehand.

Brenton Ford's courses got my swimming from practically nothing to happily doing workouts of over a kilometer, and feeling really good about it.
He can break down technique to its essentials, and provides the goal-oriented exercises needed to make real progress.
I've been following his courses for several years, and been improving steadily. Swimming well has changed my life, and effortlessswimming.com has been key.

I ordered some goggles that claimed to stay must free after finding all my other goggles from a different company only lasted a short time before to anti mist wore off. I was sceptical but decided to give them a try. I have had them now for ages (well over a year anyway) and swim 4-5 times a week. The goggles have remained mist free. Highly recommend them.

I really value the video-analysis very high. Both coaches, Brenton and Tasmynne, take a serious look at your stroke, but with a very caring and supporting mindset. The insights I got by their deep dive into my stroke is absolutely surprising and it really helped to improve my swimming more than anything else.

Brendon knows what swimming is all about. He sends out detailed videos on what common faults we usually have and then gives drills on how to fix them. Clear and practical information.

I bought the googles which are good. I love watching all the YouTube videos and if I lived in Aussie land I would love to go to their training camp.

I bought a standard pair of clear nano clear goggles. They have proved to be the most comfortable ever in 35 years open water swimming (incl two English Channels). Over the past few months in both pool and sea, they have never fogged, leaked or needed adjustment during a session. The clarity is amazing. I never need to touch them whether training for an hour or six hours. Absolute perfection. Maybe next will be the same but with prescription lenses...............if Brenton develops them.

Great exercises, great support, this just works well.

Did the Five Day Challenge and been watching his videos ever since. Made an amazing difference to my swimming. Thoroughly recommend him. (English Channel Swimmer)

I used Brenton's program and it delivered more than promised. Coaches/Other swimmers in the pool would stop and say 'wow' I didn't recognise you, your technique has improved so much. Moved from 2:15 100ms in 4 k swims to 1:53 open water for ~ 4 km. I'd glide past other swimmers, with fewer strokes, less noise, less splash. Oh and I'm over 60 years old

Great technical input..I guess I now understand more about how to swim, problem i have although I feel technically I'm a better swimmer it's not translating to improved times over 1km/ 2km ocean swims...but reality is I'm 80 years old this year and sticking on 2min per 100m...but I'm so happy tonight swim for the love of it

Bought a pair of Nanoclear goggles. Do exactly what was promised in the advert. Perfect.

My partner swims, ocean and pool, and has struggled finding goggles that don't fog and or leak. I purchased some Nanoclear goggles and he has been very happy with how they work. They fit well and he hasn't had to stop and re- adjust or de fog them. So 10/10 from a happy customer. 👍
