All learning material and the standard certificate on EduCourse are completely free. Learners can complete their course and receive a free certificate at no cost. Students can also download their Course Transcripts plus Letter of Completion also at no cost.
The optional paid upgrades are for additional verification features, including secure online certificate verification, QR code validation, and optional South African ID number support. These upgraded certificates are stored in our verification system so employers and institutions can confirm authenticity online.
We do not require ID numbers on all certificates because some learners prefer not to link personal identification details to an online verification record. For learners who want this added level of verification, the Premium certificate option includes ID number support.
We appreciate your feedback and will continue improving how we explain our certificate options to learners.
