EDC Dance is truly an inclusive dance company. We provide opportunities for children and adults to gain enjoyment and performance opportunities from dance, irrespective of size, shape, economic situation or any disabilities or challenges. Our core values are inclusivity, belonging and enjoyment, and we put these values at the heart of everything we do. We believe that dance needs to be accessible to all, so we bring dance to where people are, rather than expecting them to come to us. As such, we hold breakfast and after school dance clubs in local primary schools, as well as nurseries, day centres and care home settings, to enable more children and adults to be able to access dance opportunities. In addition to this, we run evening clubs in several village halls, close to where our children and young people live, to enable them to continue dancing with us when they leave primary school, and to open out dance opportunities to children whose schools are not currently signed up for dance clubs with us. We make all our sessions fun and engaging and combine traditional dance styles with contemporary music, always encouraging input, in both the song choices and the choreography, from the children. Every year, we run a Showcase at a local theatre. This enables our dancers to showcase all that they have learnt in club, and for families and friends to see them dance. This is fabulous for confidence and self-belief, as it is 100% aligned to the company’s values, ensuring that every child has a chance to shine. In addition to dance clubs, we also offer drama and gymnastics clubs, within the school settings, following the same core values of inclusivity, belonging and enjoyment.

EDCD is great!!!
My daughter loves EDCD, they are fun relaxed dances where everyone is included and treated the same. I love the fact she can have fun and just dance without expecting them to achieve grades and qualifications. She can just dance and have fun.

EDC Dance is fantastic
EDC Dance is fantastic! Kayleigh and her team are so inclusive and create such a positive, welcoming atmosphere. My girls absolutely love their classes and have grown so much in confidence. They can’t wait for the next showcase — it’s always such a highlight!

Everyone is very friendly!
Kayleigh is amazing !
The first class that my 4 year old daughter really enjoys and ask to go back every day if we could.
She was very shy but everyone being very helpful & friendly gave her so much confidence & she is thriving now.

Inspiring and Inclusive Dance Lessons
My daughter has been attending EDC Dance with Coach Kayleigh since she was at primary school, and she continues to enjoy her weekly sessions at our local village hall. Kayleigh provides a supportive and encouraging environment where every child feels included and valued. The lessons are fun, well-organised, and full of energy. It’s wonderful to see the children grow in both confidence and skill each week, and we always look forward to the yearly dance show it’s such a highlight! We’re so grateful for all the time and care Kayleigh puts into every class. Highly recommended! 💃✨

Brilliant club
EDC dance it’s a brilliant after school club, my daughter been with them for bit a long time and she enjoy every moment off it.
We had our wedding reception end of Aug we invite them and they did do perform in our wedding and it’s was privilege and honor to have them to celebrate with us and give our guest a remembrance performance WELL DONE girls…. And big well done to all the coaches with their hard work ….

Amazing dance school!
We absolutely love being part of the EDCD family. My daughter has been part of the dance school since it started and has been on such a journey of growth. Not only her dance ability but her confidence and belief in herself has grown! She throughly enjoys the lessons and working towards the dance showcases. The teachers are great at using songs the children know and can relate to, giving it that personal touch. We would recommend EDCD to everyone, you don’t have to be the typical dancer, everyone is welcome and included.

Brilliant dance group!
My daughter has been dancing with EDC for a few years now and has recently joined the local Seniors group after moving up to secondary school. Kayleigh is a wonderful, encouraging teacher and the kids all love it! It’s fun and casual with the chance to dance at a show if you want to, which is perfect for my slightly shy daughter who doesn’t like pressure - but she does dance at the shows (which are incredible) and loves it! Absolutely recommend EDC!

Highly recommend
My daughter has been attending dance with coach Kayleigh for 3years and absolutely loves it. They have a performance on stage which is great for building confidence and making new friends. Highly recommend very inclusive and great interaction it’s a 5 stars from me.

A really lovely dance group
A really lovely dance group, the ladies go out there way to help and communicate with you. My daughter loves these classes and the dance performances they do are of such a high standard!

Confidence
EDC is a welcoming company willing to work with everyone with any kind of abilities and disabilities, i really enjoy the lessons and have built friendships and confidence, the shows held are one’s I will never forget and the organisation is fabulous the staff are kind and always willing to change the planned lessons to help incision and fun! I have danced here for 3 years and will continue as long as I can :)

Dancing with EDC dance
My daughter Lottie has been dancing with Coach Kay for over a year now and she absolutely loves it, it is her favourite day of the week to go to school as she gets to do the dance class first. The class is fun, friendly and has improved Lotties confidence so much! I love the encouragement Lottie gets and the smiles from the Coach and her fellow dancers. On top of this the classes are reasonably priced so it means Lottie can continue with them over the next few terms! 😄
