❗️AVOID AT ALL COSTS CHARGED 2,000 FOR A GASKET AND SUSPENSION ONLY TO SAY IT FAILED A YEAR LATER TO CHARGE SAME AGAIN THEY HAD A MOTHER AND CHILD DRIVING WITH A MAJOR GAS LEAK AND A DANGEROUS SUSPENSION THAT THEY CLAIMED TO HAVE FIXED. DISGRACEFUL SHOCKING AND VERY RUDE TO SAY THEY'VE JUST WON AN AWARD FROM THE OMBUDSMAN OF MOTORING IS ASTOUNDING❗️

Visited EAC Hortonwood. Went for a 3D alignment on my CRX. I'm writing this because they probably completed the work at a loss. The new almost track parts were difficult to work with as to be honest, they the garage would not work with these parts all the while. So the very positive feedback is because even though they struggled and called me to say so, they finished the job. Fair play to them. Thank you

I just wanted to send feedback regarding my recent visit to EAC Halesfield.
I had used your the service previously, & although a lot of work was required the, service & communication was great. A week or so later a light came on the dash, I wasn't sure if it was a major issue, or if it was a consequence of your previous work. I booked in via your website, for investigation. I was called by EAC & told, with frustrated tone that I'd booked when there was no availability! Hardly my fault, given your website offered me a date. After explaining why I'd booked in, I was asked to bring it in for 8am that Friday - despite being told there was no space that day. Caller explained they'd work on it between other jobs. Firstly to identify if light on dash was related to previous works EAC had done. If not I'd be informed what the issue was & a course of action. I received a call at the end of the day, qualifying the issues & cost. As we had just spent £3000 on the car, with EAC, we weren't anticipating a further initial £1000 of charges, plus unknown potential additional charges after that. Hence I wanted to weigh up my options; the car is old & only a temporary fix. Via the phone call I was told to call EAC the following monday if I wanted to go ahead, or to collect the car if I didn't. I decided I didn't want the work done & arranged a lift to EAC to collect my car. I was presented with a breakdown worksheet + invoice of £174.99 for the pleasure of having my keys back. I stated I was not told at any point, prior dropping the car to EAC or via the phone call that Friday afternoon, of any charges incurred by EAC checking their own work, or identifying a new area of work. Your staff member became very defensive - almost like I was stealing £50 out of her grannies purse! I was effectively told I was lieing & an inference of me trying to pull a fast one. Myself & a friend who was with me, were made to feel like we were being underhand & told we would have to wait an hour for someone to 'investigate'. Staff member explained frostily that all calls were recorded which they would listen to, again inferring EAC would be triumphant! (To be honest, I think they just talked to the mechanic I spoke to).
I said, good, I was glad they were checking as I knew what I was say, to be true. However the call from the mechanic was only a 5min call, so would hardly take an hour to listen to it! Despite this I was made to wait for best part of an hour for them to prove me right. Gave me worksheet breakdown & my keys.
Zero apology despite the fact we were treat like criminals. Plenty of their customers witnessed how appalling EAC 'deals' with issues.
£1000 I was quoted for work I chose not to have done & on leaving the garage, no lights on the dash board since. Whatever the issue was, it had resolved itself.
Which leads me to beleive the £3k of work EAC completed prior this experience, was likely inflated & false.

Not very good at all book car in turned up , girl took wrong reg could not do work until day after and more expensive will not use again

Visited EAC in Halesfield today for two new tyres to be fitted. I know there has been a massive hike in the cost for this, but EAC are still the best price ( I had looked around at other garages beforehand). The team there are really nice and were especially kind to my 5 year old son who was waiting with me. The drinks and snacks available whilst waiting is a good touch, little things like that make a big difference. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 because the initial booking was difficult due to the automated AI assistant when I called. It is always better to speak to an actual human.

Called to book a dsg service and oil and filter change.
They did ask for the registration number but not my name or any other details. They were quite abrupt and said they would call back but didn't bother. Very poor customer service. They obviously didn't want the work.

Paid £305 for a major service which said included Mini Valet. No Valet was done and two weeks later my 'ad blue' warning came on. Turns out that isn't included in a major service!!. The staff are great and very pleasant,apart from that.

I recently had my vehicle serviced at EAC Telford, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, the team was professional, friendly, and highly knowledgeable.
Booking the service was straightforward, and they kept me well informed throughout the process. The staff took the time to clearly explain what work was needed and provided transparent pricing with no unexpected surprises. It’s refreshing to deal with a garage that values honesty and customer care.
The service itself was completed efficiently and to a very high standard. My car was returned clean, running smoothly, and ready on time as promised. It’s clear the technicians take pride in their work and pay attention to detail.
I would highly recommend EAC Telford to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy vehicle servicing. I’ll definitely be returning for future maintenance.

I brought my car to EAC Hortonwood for an MOT and service and was quoted £700+ to address two minor suspension issues relating to front suspension arm ball joint dust covers (one major, one minor). Even accounting for wheel alignment, this price is significantly higher that what I have been quoted by other mechanics and garages, as well as my own research online.

I’ll be getting the work done, as well as the re-test of my MOT, done elsewhere and would strongly recommend that others seek a second opinion before agreeing to repairs here. Equally, DO NOT use this garage for your MOT. Not too sure whether they wanted to get more money out of me because I'm a young woman, or because I had to change the date and time of the MOT, or because I booked via BookMyGarage. Who knows, crazy prices!

My daughter was involved in a minor single vehicle RTC, resulting in her vehicle being recovered to EAC at Halesfield. Following a ‘full vehicle diagnosis’ a repair valuation was set at £1500. This was agreed & the work commenced. Then she was told it would be £1800 & then a further charge of around £350 for a new wheel bearing was delivered. Having become involved at the £1800 stage, I paid that bill & sought another opinion. This showed nothing wrong with the bearings. In essence, avoid this garage at all costs, particularly if you are a young female with no mechanical experience & open to corporate exploitation. Over enflated charge on parts & labour…..My request ? Just deliver a fair& & reasonable service, that’s not too much to ask. Relevant investigative authorities informed.

I cannot fault EAC. I had an issue with my mini, they got it booked in and a curtosey car organised so I could still get about. Everything was flawless from the booking, to communication about my car. They were brilliant at removing all stress from the situation and it was a quick turn around considering the issue. Definately be using their services again.

A friend recommended EAC to me, from when I went to reception and got my car back everything was perfect. Customer service was impeccable, wouldn't use anywhere else again. Thank you all at EAC.

Went in for a tyre change as had a flat, lovely gent changed it and checked the others which resulted in 2 more needing to be changed. After taken off he came and shown me the tyres. He was very friendly and welcoming. Thankyou!!

I can’t say enough how impressed with EAC I was when I took my car into for repair , from the initial booking in , to keeping me updated on the progress and to the finished result , even washing my car at the end ( nice touch ) . Highly recommend 👍
