Hassle free returns couldn’t be more wrong. I ordered a dress and I didn’t like it on and it was far too long for me so I decided to send it back. I was told I must provide photos to prove it didn’t fit properly (I didn’t do it) and was then advised I would only receive 80% refund, I had to pay shipping and advised there are issues shipping into China and some other issues if I don’t supply a tracking number. They’ve made it almost impossible to make a return, I’ve never received my refund. Would not recommend unless you’re 100% certain you won’t return.

The dress arrived quickly, fit perfectly, and looked just as in the pictures online.
Especially the flowers on the dress, very delicate and suitable for summer. Highly recommend shopping for any occasion.

I loved this dress! The color was exactly as shown on the website. As the sunlight reflected off of it, you saw many different colors from pink, to blue, to purple. Ot fit perfectly, and was made to my measurements. I received so many compliments on this dress and can’t wait to wear it again.

Dress was exactly as expected. I needed it quite quickly. The customer service was so helpful and got the dress to me quickly.

I ordered two flowergirl dresses and recommeded shawls to match for the bridesmaids, while the dresses were great the shawls were a very different shade despite all being 'Jade'. Despite the claims of a hassle free returns policy, there are no returns - which is contravention of UK Consumer Rights. I was told that it was because they were different material they were a different shade of the same colour. I was offered an offensive 10% refund on the nearly £60 - for shawls that I can't use as they are not fit for purpose due to them not matching. I had relied on the 'no hassle returns' which was a misrepresentation - along with the colour.

I would never buy from this site again.
I order 3 dresses, which 2 didn’t fit. You have 5 working day to let them know you wanted a refund. I told them the same day. Firstly you have to pay for postage which was £11.99 x3 then because I had to sent to back, it costed me £32 in postage. When I sent them back they asked how much the value was which I told them £140 but in fact it was £158. My dresses sat in customs over 2 months as I was emailing this company for a refund, which they finally told me I had to pay a customs charge of £28.
The total amount I paid for the dresses was £79 x 2 postage to me was £35.97 to send back £32 and customs charges £28 which was a total of £253.97 the refund I got back was £98.40 for both dresses because they said they only give 80% of the refund back. I was so upset I’m a single mum and to lost that amount of money was heartbreaking. My advice would be DONT BUY FROM THIS SITE. They say Uk but they are in china..,

Ordered a bridesmaid dress which arrived fairly quickly. The dress is good quality however the colour was completely different to what was shown online. I understand there can be a difference between online photos and the colours of fabrics in real life however the so called 'cinnamon rose' colour was cerise pink. The returns and refund policy is a disgrace to say the least. Using the excuse of only being able to give an 80% refund due to dresses being "made to order" is nonsense as I know of other companies who offer full refunds and who provide free shipping labels. Serves me right for using a different company and for not reading the reviews first!

Abiti completamente differenti rispetto alle foto, taglie errate e qualità del tessuto scadente. Eseguire un reso o un rimborso lo hanno reso impossibile così da portare il cliente ad arrendersi. Ho speso 120€ (vestito più spese di spedizione), a meno che sia danneggiato le spese di reso sono a nostro carico (80€ per spedire in Cina) e ti rimborsano solo l’80%. Quindi diventa completamente svantaggioso rendere gli articoli. Pessima esperienza, pessimo sito.

First i didnt realise my dresses were coming from china. Duntery UK? NOT
Arrival time ok but wrong dresses sent. And i ordered a J6 and J10
I received wromg dress size PE? Measurments are inbetween their web sites J7 & J8 also received a J12 which is making me think i may habe someone else custom order.?
Anyway i emailed cust services and reveived a reply from Maya which is actually an automated email. Explaining their returns policy..basically they dont let you return but i could but would have to pay shipping. And would not get a full refund...still ongoing. Think im going to do credit card chargeback and write it off as a bad experiance

Ho acquistato un abito da cerimonia per me e per mia cugina.
Il mio abito Natasha , misura standard 38: le misure indicate nel sito equivalevano alle mie stesse misure, prese accuratamente con metro alla mano. Peccato che sia arrivato un abito gigante e farlo riprendere da zero dalla sarta costerebbe più del costo dell’abito stesso, 170 euro persi.
L’abito di mia cugina, Phoebe : misure personalizzate ma è comunque da riprendere perché larghissimo, per non parlare dello spacco!!!!!!!!! Lo spacco della sottogonna si trova al centro , lo spacco della gonna si trova a destra: quindi i due spacchi non coincidono.
Sconsiglio vivamente di acquistare da questo sito. Nonostante ci sia scritto che in caso è possibile fare il reso con un rimborso dell’80% sulle misure standard e 80% di rimborso su misure personalizzate ma con difetti di qualità, non sarà mai possibile fare il reso perché la rispedizione in Cina costa sugli 80 euro e in alcuni casi , è maggiore il costo della spedizione che il rimborso dell’abito.
Inoltre propongono un rimborso da 20 euro alla condizione di eliminare la recensione negativa. Diffidate

Aggiungo questa modifica alla recensione , dal momento che Duntery ha risposto il giorno 21/06/24, e non si può controbattere: rispondono con messaggi predefiniti, ti dicono che puoi scambiare la merce o rendere ma è praticamente impossibile. Ti propongono un rimborso di pochi euro solo per non inserire una recensione negativa e continuano a sostenere che le loro misure siano corrette e che possono variare di 1-2 cm. La taglia 38 da me acquistata , può essere indossata da una persona che indossa una 44/46.
Poi, ammettiamo che io non abbia la fisicità adatta, ma l abito di mia cugina che presenta evidenti difetti? Anche quello è un problema di fisicità?
Vi consiglio di non buttare soldi così come abbiamo fatto noi

Un abito splendido.... Ho richiesto un modello color rosa cipria, fornendo le mie misure: ho avuto un piccolo capolavoro. Un abito che mi sta d'incanto, si muove dolcemente ad ogni mio passo, sembro una modella. Mi cade alla perfezione. L'ho indossato ad una sera importante, ho fatto un figurone. Grazie Duntery!

I originally gave a poor review as I was not happy that the fabrics used in the dress didn't colour match properly - it was supposed to be all burgundy but the stretchy skirt fabric has a pinker tone in natural light. Duntery initially refused to recognise this a a manufacturing flaw and give me an 80% refund, as it was custom sized. I pointed out that this didn't comply with trading standards and best practice. However after several weeks of messaging and me sending the dress back to China we have resolved it and I have a refund.

Overall I'm sorry to say I wouldn't buy from them again but the actual dress I received was well enough made and designed, other than the fabrics and I'm sure many sales go through without a hitch. If you buy from them I would just say be aware that their returns policy isn't fair and can cause lengthy issues if the problem isn't straightforward damage or such like. I’m looking for a wedding dress but in burgundy rather than the traditional British white/cream. A friend suggested Duntery as they had a couple of options that looked suitable. I was hesitant because of their returns policy but decided to give it a go. I had got a fabric sample but was extremely disappointed when the dress arrived and the top and bottom fabrics didn’t match. The top is burgundy but the bottom half is a fabric that changes tone depending on lighting and looks way too pink in natural light. It also doesn’t drape quite as it looked online which I don’t think is just down to my shape. Final thing was the arm holes are quite small and would’ve needed altered. Although I had asked for a custom size (almost 14 but slightly bigger, so could be resized easily) so knew their policy was no refund I contacted them. British trading standards means they should refund or replace if an item isn’t fit for purpose, which it isn’t. I’ve had a complete runaround with their customer service.

In response to Duntery’s comments, yes people have different colour perceptions which is why it is important to ensure fabrics match and are compatible. The skirt fabric looks too pink in natural light compared to the burgundy top - something that is not evident on the website images. As a physicist I understand optics and this is not simply an issue of my own retina responding differently to other people’s.

Ordered two bridesmaid dresses and unfortunately one arrived in the incorrect colour. After a little bit of messaging via email with prompt responses the issue was resolved and the correct dress is now with me. The quality of the dresses are lovely cannot fault them so happy I decided to buy them from Duntery. Great value for money.

Lo dico subito, i vestiti sono bellissimi, fatti benissimo con rifiniture accurate e spediti con grande cura. Da quello che ho letto non conviene assolutamente farseli personalizzare, io ho preso una 48 e le misure erano esattamente quelle descritte. I problemi sorgono con le spedizioni, più cura e meno mail in cui si dice che qualsiasi cosa succeda la colpa è dell'acquirente sarebbe molto gradita. A eventuale rimborso e restituzione non ci ho neanche pensato, quando si tratta di spedizioni dalla Cina, a parte da un preciso sito low cost, è praticamente impossibile,

Esperienza pessima. Hanno sbagliato tutti gli abiti delle mie damigelle dalle misure personalizzate. Parlo di una media di 4-8 centimetri di meno rispetto a quanto richiesto e, sebbene loro avessero inserito qualche centimetro in più per sicurezza, in ogni caso non riescono a chiuderlo! Un esempio? Circonferenza petto richiesta: 88 cm. Circonferenza petto arrivata: 82! Non comprate misure personalizzate. Aggiungo che tutte le misure sono state prese da persone competenti e seguendo attentamente le istruzioni.

Aggiungo anche a chi mi dice che dico bugie, che ho mandato le foto con le misure prese secondo le indicazioni del servizio clienti, che ha continuato a negare l’evidenza. Ero consapevole di non poter ricevere rimborso, ma volevo segnalare l’errore perché era stato replicato su tutti gli abiti. Sinceramente, gli abiti sono belli, ma sconsiglio vivamente le misure personalizzate per il vostro bene. Al massimo, prendete un abito standard e poi rendetelo se la taglia non corrisponde. Ma, data la poca cordialità del servizio clienti, vi consiglierei direttamente di cambiare sito.

Very poor quality. Bought a prom dress for my daughter arrives with stitching coming away at the seams. Contacted support they offered to give me 20% refund and to keep the dress. After asking for a full refund I was told I would lose shipping costs that I have paid plus would need to pay high shipping fees to refund

Ordered a custom dress for my child. The length of the dress is longer than my child’s entire height. They told me I should be able to tell from the model that the dress “runs long.”

If I could give zero stars I would. Their return policy is horrendous. If you order from them - you must assume nothing is returnable....even if you just need to try on different sizes. The dresses are priced low, but nothing is returnable (for any reason).
