Delivery is very slow which I accepted. First box arrived had a great session. Waited for box 2 and at no fault of the company (apart from using Evri) my parcel was lost. Reordered to be sent with box 3 fine I’ll have both and it’s near Christmas so we’ll manage. Box 4 arrived no box 2, no box 3. When talking to support I get a message saying box 2 has been added to the next delivery, and a screenshot of them adding it with box 4. This appears to be automated or the support team don’t read emails. Hopefully, they will read my subscription cancellation request will not be getting from here again.

First off the shipping was so slow, ordered a one shot Christmas special came with a free 12 day advent calendar, well it arrived on the 11th of December. Already wasn’t happy. Second the skinny minis yes are cool. But only give you 12 bases so you have to switch them around during the adventure which is ridiculous how much can plain small plastic disc really cost? I emailed them about it to see if this was a mistake. Absolutely NO RESPONSE. So they went to charge my card for the next month good thing I only use a pre paid for online ordering. I contacted them again and told them to cancel they responded next day and said it was canceled no questions to why or if I was satisfied, if there was a problem NOTHING. This company seems to be just for your money and don’t give 2 crits about you BUYER BEWARE

Backed multiple kickstarters, commuinciation is bad to non existent, they ay products are made but dont show you any pictures, never update and just keep your money. Do not trust this organisation.

I love the adventure and the physical maps and booklets and well, the entire box. My group and I are currently on box 1, but I've peeked into the first 4 (the ones I got delivered) and love them all.

My main complaint for this would be shipping. Not only does the box always get delivered without notification, which means I have to proactively ask at the post office if they have something (and at which post office location. apparently they rotate), but because I have to pay tolls when I pick it up one box ends up being around 45€ which feels a lot for D&D. Again, for the most part, I love the boxes enough to justify that.

While the maps provided are pretty great, they're very combat based. And don't get me wrong, combat maps are pretty cool - but in terms of games immersion, I feel like some maps for the world-building would have been helpful. Like, where is that map of grayhaven? or the blazing isles? It's not like the characters hypothetically spend an entire session there... In terms of combat, I find it pretty easy to draw on an empty map. But in terms of worldbuilding, that's where I feel I WOULD need the map. All-in-all, I think it's a pretty cool adventure to run, and I would never discontinue my subscription as long as I can afford it. I might consider going digital only at some point, but, whatever.

Also, I had a few very positive interactions with their customer service.

Shipping to European Countries might sometimes take a bit long, but thats very understandable for an US-Based company.

Products are top-notch quality, if you are familiar with DM'ing this service will take a lot of Prop-Preparation off you, and provide a great story to your players.

For that one time i had a problem (no access to the digital version), Customer support was friendly and quick to respond, and fixed the issue.

Excellent content. Great customer service. Each box provides hours of stories and fun for the group. It takes out a lot of the hardest work for a DM, but leaves room for the DM to form the world and make it more their own. With the maps, counters and minis included you've got all you need to run the adventure in the box.

The guys from Dungeon in a Box really helped me out when I somehow got mixed up on some orders on their website. The service was top-notch and I really enjoy the product they provide. I had the opportunity to DM the first Greenwold setting today to everyones amusement and, to be honest, drooling over the amazing maps and minis that comes with the Box.

I really only can recommend them!
