Cheap and nasty! Avoid avoid avoid!!! The refund process is UTTERLY RIDICULOUS they will refund me after I’ve sent them to New Zealand???? From the UK?!?!? I’ve asked PayPal to intervene, it’s a scam, cheap crap from China! So annoyed for falling for it

I really wish I read these reviews before I bought these sandals. Its a total SCAM! Its arrived in the grey packaging you get from well know chineese online stores and the quality is TERRIBLE and thats being nice. I haven't tried to get a refund yet but like others im sure they will make an excuse not to refund the ite for me. Really disappointed I cant afford to waste £38 like this plus I needed it for a health reason. So disappointed but if I can save someone else being scammed its worth it.

The item arrived within two weeks, which was a good start. Unfortunately, the quality was far below my expectations. It felt flimsy, cheap, and did not provide the comfort advertised. Instead, it was very bouncy and unstable to walk on.
Customer service was helpful at first and assisted with the return, but buyers should know that return postage is at their own expense. I paid around $30 for the item and another $19 to return it to New Zealand.
The biggest disappointment was the refund process. It took over eight weeks and several follow-up emails before I finally received my refund.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend buying from Dr. Arch. The product quality was poor, and the lengthy refund process overshadowed the initially helpful customer service. Customer support also appears to be based overseas, which may have contributed to the delays.

They are not an Australian Company as stated, they are in NZ. They do not ship from Australia as stated, they were shipped from China. After the transaction went through it was a private PayPal account the money was sent to.

My experience was they sent 1 pair of slides wrong size. Their error not mine. They wanted me to ship back to NZ at my cost. Customer service was not customer service. They drag it out for as long as possible. Requesting more info with every email. Then tell you at the end send them back but don't inform you they are making you pay.

Save your money and go and buy Archies Footwear instead!

Before I ordered, I checked their website FAQs to check they did refunds. FAQ advises that postage is free for Aust, NZ returns, but NOT that they only return address is in New Zealand. TOok at least a month to arrive as was sent from China, via some address in the UK. Quality is terrible, sizing is inaccurate and they are cheap crappy pound store items. I tried to initiate a refund, only to be told I had to send them back to New Zealand (when the address label has an address in UK). Apparently they want to inspect the shoes before they refund. Nevermind that postage to NZ will cost as much as the shoes. Constant back and forth, terrible customer service, with them bizarrely offering to send another pair of shoes (why???) instead of refunding, or offering a 25% refund on another pair.

It’s only once you delve into their website further that you find the information about having to send returns to New Zealand. IF you have any kind of foot injury, these are going to do nothing to help it.

COMPLETE SCAMMERS. DO NOT BUY

The shoes came a month later than promised and the quality is very poor. They are dollar store quality. Save your money!

Very poor company to deal with. Ordered these ready for a trip a week later no item. They could not give me a tracking number. Emailed several times advised due to the nature purchase from elsewhere. Once done this they said they will refund me once they locate item. 4 weeks later no response and no refund. Avoid as you won’t get the item you want

Not much arch support in these thongs, they come from China and are very soft

If I could award zero stars, I would. Order not received and despite emailing the company twice (it appears to have various emails addresses), I have had no response apart from an email requesting a review. I would not recommend this company.

Ordered end of April from uk , payment was taken straight away. Still waiting for 2 pairs of sandals. Numerous emails, same excuse- they are on their way.
I have asked for a refund and will be taking this further. Very disappointed. Do not waste your time or money!

This seller operation is SCAMS. Do not buy, product quality is terrible. They advertise wrong about refund. They are not based in Australia. Products get shipped from China. Stay away from these people. I lots my money already.

I ordered some items from Dr Arch thinking it was from an Australian site on 2 May. It has now been over a month and still haven't received. Granted, they shipped right away - from China- and it's been stuck in Australia for over 4 weeks but their customer service don't do anything about it. They tell me to keep waiting. I wanted a refund....keep waiting. I have succumb to the realization that I'm not getting the items and have lost $180.

Very disappointing, product has not arrived over a month after ordering, and despite contacting customer service 3 times and being told I would receive an update on delivery, this has not come. I am now trying to get a refund. I was really excited for the products and gave ample opportunity for the team to update me on delivery date etc but I’ve given up now. Sadly I definitely would not recommend this company.

Deceptive and misleading website, promising 'free returns and exchanges'. Not only do they insist of customer paying for return postage, but the return address is New Zealand - ie international and twice as expensive! Customer service is woeful. The thongs may feel ok (I don't know, the size was wrong) but they look really roughly finished and look cheap. I will be looking into reporting to ACCC.

The products that they sell are very low in quality, also the Same products are selling at some stores for one dollar. When you check the bottom part of the product, they are made from CHINA

At first, the product seemed like it would fit our needs. However, when it arrived, it didn’t fit well and the design was uncomfortable—it actually hurt our toes.
I reached out to customer service hoping to exchange it for a different style, but unfortunately, that wasn’t an option. On top of that, there are no free returns—you’re required to ship the item back to Australia at your own expense. Considering that most online retailers provide complimentary return labels, this was quite disappointing.
Based on this experience, I would think twice before purchasing from this company and would recommend looking at alternative options.

Update: 6/5/2026 - there has been no contact since my review from the company on making things right.

Awful company, they list it is as free returns and that they are the most comfortable flipflops ever. They are uncomfortable and now want me to pay for the returns. Customer service is saying they aren't offering free returns at the moment.

Scam site. Falsely representation of being based in Aus/NZ. Ships from China. No phone numbers. Does not process order cancellations though was requested within one hour of placing the order when I realised it was shipping from China and would not reach in time. Acts like email was not seen then replies a few days later to say product was already shipped, takes over 2 weeks to arrive, will not pay for return shipping asking to pay forcing us to bite the bullet and accept the product no matter what the flaws in the product. Site is a scam.
