3 times so far a parcel has not been delivered to me
The reason in the system: “delivery refused by recipient”.
I have never been contacted by DPD regarding the missed deliveries. Instead, their courier’s registered in the system “refused by recipient” and the parcels were sent back to the sender
I wrote to their complaints department, and received no answer. Nobody seems to care
The couriers must be incentivised by meeting their quota, so they record “refused by recipient “ to save time on delivering a parcel by wrongly recording this status
Bad customer experience - Poor service
It’s unclear how this company is still operating. There’s no response to calls, emails, or claims—it's as if no one is actually working there. I placed an international delivery order, but no one came to pick up the package. I had to cancel and use a different courier. I received orders with extended delays reason why I wasn't able to return the items. On top of that, their pick-up points and lockers have technical issues. I couldn’t open the locker after entering the correct PIN, yet the order status showed as delivered. This issue remains unresolved at this date. I strongly advise against using this company’s services!

I got a message telling me it will come friday, i had been waiting the entire day for it just for it to be sent back to deposit at 3 pm… i think them and their couriers believe the whole world just waits and revolves around them…

I try to get in contact with DPD from one week now. They barely answer the phone. When they do, they are not able to provide accurate details of the parcel or (what a joke!) the customer representative advises to go to their warehouse to search the package.
I contacted the company via the email. I received in return a ticket ID but no resolution. I followed up - no answer.
The biggest joke is the checkbox for this review- the review will be forwarded via email to their customer service address. I bet there is a filter in place to send to junk or delete these notifications. Please, don't use DPD services.

O stea este prea mult pentru aceasta companie. Astepti cu zilele sa iti ridice coletul si apoi iar cu saptamanile sa il livreze. Am un colet blocat de 4 zile in depozit si tot ce imi spun este ca s-au depus cereri pentru a il livra.
They will take your money and will not deliver!
Whenever I ask them to pick up a package, I have to wait 2-3 days just for the pick-up. Today the van was in the building complex and I just watched him drive off (and he had to pick up 3 packages from me), he never returned.
Also, for international shipments, even if I ordered it to my address and all the other couriers delivered it, they decided to take it to another city and claim that the box was not working. I never ordered it at a box. Plus, there are three of them on the same 50-meter street and hundreds in the same city as me, Bucharest. However, I had to travel 60 km (back and forth) and pay twice the price of shipping and the item purchased just to pick it up.
I had 3 clients that canceled their order because they tried their first delivery after 10 days after pick up! I lost the sales, they made me pay for the round trip also...
I called them today and told them that it was very urgent and that they must pick it up today. They told me they didn't know if he would. I'm not sure, but if he doesn't pick it up, then I'll know they won't pick it up today (the stupidest response to a reclamation I have ever heard).

1 is too much for this deceiving useless company. Their staff are too lazy and if your order is more than 10kg they would not bother to deliver, just return it to the sender. The management should go to prison for this total scam. I was waiting for 30 days for a 2 days delivery, each day got new lies over the phone. Do never use this fraud company!

Incredibil de prost sitemul de relatii cu clientii.
Incerc de aproximativ 4 ore sa iau legatura cu ei telefonic pentru a putea da de numarul curierului deoarece doream sa stiu aproximativ ora de livrare ca sa pot pleca linistit de acasa ulterior. Am stat in apel cate o ora de doua ori si niciun raspuns din partea lor atat pe numar cat nici pe email. Slab, astept sa vad cum se va prezenta pachetul si revin cu update.

Ma chinui de o săptămână si ceva sa intru in posesia unui colet platit. Va rog pe toti cei care desfasurati activitati comerciale online: nu trimiteti colete cu ei!!! Este extrem de greu sa intri in legatura cu un operator, nu am asteptat niciodata mai putin de 30 de minute, majoritatea curierilor sunt grosolani si greu de accesat ulterior daca cumva nu ai raspuns atunci la telefon. Am avut multe situatii neplacute cu ei, parca ii selecteaza dupa acelasi tipar. In plus, am ales sa imi fie livrat coletul intr-un locker iar acum PIN nu functioneaza!!! Desi am ajuns dupa colet in timp util. Fratilor, daca nu sunteti in stare, nu ne faceti viata grea!

Absolutely subpar company. On the 10th of January I was announced thru a SMS I was about to receive a parcel to my house.
Due to a not so pleasant experiences from December with the courier in my area and him returning my parcel in the deposit because " I did not answer the phone and he tried to call me 5 times" (Even though I got NO call, I waited with my phone BESIDE ME FOR A CALL ALL DAY) and because on the 10th of January I wasn't gonna be at home that day at all , I decided to redirect my parcel to a locker.
And so I did, I redirected it to a locker closest to my area. It told me the package was expected to arrive at the locker on the 13th Monday, since the other two days were on a weekend. Everything checks out so far.
13th passed. No parcel, I check the AWB : Returned to deposit. I was like ok, maybe the locker is full. It's important to note it's not a big package at all.
14th Passed. Same thing. I reached out via email over to DPD to ask what's going on since the AWB doesn't give much information about the reason the package didn't make it to the locker ( other courier companies do) and I was afraid of it being sent back to the sender if this went on. No response.
15th Passed. Same thing. Still no email response.
Now it's the 16th at the time of writing this review, I've sent another email to their other address, written on their Facebook page, nothing. The AWB doesn't even show the package is back in the deposit anymore for today, so they probably didn't even try. Countless of people are having the same issues I'm having, proven by the comments on their Facebook page and DPD is just not responding in a timely manner no matter the way you reach out to them.
At this point, It's just very clear they don't give a damn. I'm a very understanding type of person and usually don't leave out negative reviews because mistakes can happen, people are tired, etc etc.
But this? No. Just no.

0 if possible, I am waiting for a package since 20 Dec last year, these a-holes don't answer the phone, like never, don't reply to complaints, nothing. DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

Incerc sa inteleg de ce nu se obosesc sa livreze pachetele? Banuiesc ca sunt platiti indiferent daca livreaza sau nu in cazul in care comanda vine din afara tarii? De 2 ori am comandat ceva de 2 ori nu s-au deranjat. Incredibil...il marcheaza ca " destinatar refuza comanda" cum ajunge in depozit.

I would give them zero stars if possible.
Unfortunately, I did not choose the courier. It was chosen by the product provider. Had I known it would be DPD, I would have asked them to send me my money back for the products and would have bought somewhere else.
I am still waiting for my delivery. I have been informed two times that my delivery would arrive, I made sure somebody was home to receive the products. After having waited for 13 minutes to reach somebody at the call center, I was provide with a phone number of a driver who was no even responsible to deliver the products and was operating in another area.
I have written to the product providers to try and solve my problem. If they do not help me, I am forced to request my money back.
The problem is I do not trust them to deliver the day I am informed about the delivery since they have failed two times to deliver.
