Steve visited to fix a problem with our bird guards on the Solar Panels. He was brilliant, very cheery and he checked all round to make sure all was good after replacing the bit that had fallen off.

A recent recall of an electrician saw DES living up to their professed excellent after sales service with a swift and painless resolution. Some previously installed trunking concealing electrical cables had become unfasted from our internal garage wall. This was securely reattached without quibbling. One happy customer, thank you DES!

I was looking for advice on solar and battery systems for my house. I had read far too much about everything and had confused myself backwards. I spoke to Darren who was fantastic and explained everything at my level, so confusion averted. Due to cost I opted for the Solar system, but the more I read the less I was convinced as I had seem the new Tesla Powerwall 3 at a friends, and was being swayed by the actual feel of seeing a system. I spoke to Darren again, and he requoted for a tesla set up. I ended up with 17 panels and two Powerwall 3 batteries. I changed my order and The whole DES team spoke to arrange collection of money, dates for installation, installation process, on-site inspection and confirmation and of course, the actual installation itself. Almost completely faultless.
We are so pleased with the system and the whole process we have passed the details on to several friends. They were the only company who would install the solar panels (12 of them) on the garage roof due to the fragility of the tiles. Only two broke which we had replacements for, and such a professional job that it was a pleasure.
Everything works really well and without Darren’s patient assistance, we wouldn’t have worked with DES so well. Many thanks for a job very well done

DES have completed several jobs for us over the past five years including a complete rewiring of our kitchen/dining/living area, installation of a new alarm system and installation of an Ohme Home Pro EV charger.

What should have been a simple 1/2 day job to do bird proofing took 12 days.
I rang the day before the job was due and the lady that answered confirmed the scaffolders would come the next morning and the roofers should be there later that afternoon.
The scaffolders came, the roofers didn't.
The weather had apparently held them up on another job. Fair enough. A phone call on Friday said they would be there Monday - the guy was coming especially as he was actually on leave that week and he was the only person they had who could the bird proofing. Short of staff, sickness, that sort of thing.
He didn't come. they were waiting for parts - for a job he was supposed to have done on Thursday, that is the day before this call.
Another phone call. The parts had come. He turned up (on Wednesday, I think. I was losing track). The parts were the wrong size.
A phone call on Friday from me to them. Any news, because it is now 9 days and the scaffolding is still blocking the satellite signal. The lady said she was sorry, no-one had told her that (I told another lady when the job got pushed to the Monday, but had irritably agreed at the time, expecting them on that Monday). She said she would get hold of the scaffold company and the would come the move boards so we would get a signal, either that afternoon or Saturday morning.
They didn't come. We still had no satellite signal. And the scaffold was blocking our conservatory door, so we had lost that access to the back garden and had to go round. But at least we had that option.
However, the correct parts were now in and the roofer would come first thing on Monday.
They came, not first thing, but on Monday morning. There were three of them. Was he showing other people how to do the job, in case this dark comedy of errors happened again? Who knows?
They were here about 40-45 minutes. They told us they would let the office know and the scaffolders would be sent to take the scaffold down.
They came the next day, late morning, so still not rushing. Finally we had our bird proofing - which means the pigeons won't get under there and damage the wiring), a satellite signal and good access to the garden.
It just took 12 days.

Highly professional and friendly firm. They were able to schedule in a landlords electrical safety test for me at relatively short notice .
They explained fully what they had to do and we’re able to remedy a couple of minor issues at no additional cost.

There were a few complications with our recent EV charger fitting. But DES went out of their way to make it work for us. They were polite and customer service was faultless.
