I bought the Donner ded 200X Electric drum kit, and at first i did not like it but I've had it 2 months now and I love it. You have got to mess around with the settings. It's a budget kit £399 🥰 dual zone cymbals, dual zone mesh snare, single zone mesh tom pads, 6"rubber kick tower. Don't go off the settings straight out of the box If you're thinking of getting the Donner ded 200X, it is an exceptional budget starter kit and Donner are a great product, and the company listens to you💯%. Try these settings, Hi-Hat voice 07, Sensitivity, 03, Pitch 127, Threshold 10, X talk 03, Retrigger 05, Vel 03,Vol 120. Snare Voice 27, Sensitivity 03, Pitch 00, Threshold 10, Xtalk 07, Retrigger 05, Vel 03, Vol 127. Tom 1,2 3, all voices 23, Sensitivity 03, Pitch 00 Threshold 07, Xtalk 03, Retrigger 07, Vel 03, Vol Tom 1, (115) Tom 2,(120) Tom 3 (125). If you like a more tighter pop sound try toms 1,2,&3 voice 01. Crash 1&2 voice 10, crash 1 pan slightly left at 44, Crash 2 Pan Slightly right at 88, Cash 1&2 Sensitivity 03, Threshold 09, Xtalk 03, Retrigger 04, Velocity/Vel, 03, Vol 125. Ride Voice 05, Sensitivity 02, Threshold 08, Xtalk 03, Retrigger 05, Vol 127 altering the pitch on the ride gives it the difference between a 20"/22"/24" ride cymbal the Velocity set at 3 makes the stick hit stand out, mine sounds like my old 22"Zildjian Z Custom. Crash 1&2 have a great bow ring & the edge a mellow crash. Snare 27 has a good recorded sound it is the same as snare 02 but with a tighter sounding head. Snare Voice 02 has a dead dampened sound They both have a studio recorded sound. Snare Voice 24 has a nice tight lively ring. All the snare sounds you can alter the pitch to your liking, the factory setting is pitch 64 which sound great but dropping the pitch down to 00 gives them all a fatter sound. The kick rubber pad, Voice 04, Sensitivity 02, Threshold 10, Retrigger 05, Xtalk 03, Vel 03, Vol 90. If you have the mesh kick pad, Sensitivity 04, Threshold 20, Retrigger 05, Vel 03, Vol 100 this is stop the kick from double hits. I've put sponge in mine, tune the head low with plenty of give it sounds great with a double pedal if it still double hits then take the retrigger up one increment at a time till it stops don't take it more than 7 as it starts to miss hit. Set treble full, Bass 1/4 past. Set Ambience to 02, then turn it up till you can just start to hear it on the kick. Kick Voice 04 has a thud, Voice 10 has a room sound, voice 17 a deeper boomy sound, Voice 20 has a real Ian paice, deep purple live boom to it. I have a drum vst plug in but this user kit setting is just as good. Get some better headphones the ones supplied are awful🤮🎧 they don't do the kit any justice at all i use OneOdio pro C studio £21 from AliExpress 8 days to arrive from china same ones on Amazon £41. They will make the kit sparkle & sound amazing. I have the newer DED 200 module so i don't know if the voices are the same as the older versions, but it is an exceptional budget starter kit for the price better than the Alesis nitro mesh which my friend has. It only has single zone cymbals. I would definitely recommend Donner ded 200X by Xutuo-eu 💯🥁👍
