I don't know where to start
A few months ago, my pharmacy ran out of stock on part of my prescribed medication. Instead of waiting for the full prescription (30 XR capsules and 30 non-XR tablets), they gave me the portion they had in stock (30 pills) and asked me to come back 14 days later for the rest. This created two separate refill schedules for my medications, requiring me to request prescriptions every two weeks instead of once a month.

When I brought this up to my provider, a day after renewing my care subscription for another $80, I was looking for a way to sync my schedule so I didn't have to request new medication every two weeks. Here is her *word for word* response, and the spelling is exactly as it was written to me, the PATIENT. Olubukola Shodiya, PMHNP, writes:
"Hello am sorry that is not how it is narcotic is dispensed you are not compensated for last days you didn't have the refill. There is a nation wide shortage issue, in other to syn them you will have to do that on your won accord, or do not pick up until both medications are available in other to syn them, note: i will not advise you to do that due to the shortage issue. I strongly advise you to use medication stole on days that are very important or find other pharmacies in your area or even drive little further area from your regular area."

The lack of empathy is SHOCKING, especially for a mental health patient, where consistent medication is critical. The blame-shifting is astronomical, when blame isn't even on the table, I'm just looking for a solution to what should be an easy fix.

I cannot believe I spend a monthly payment on a service that would speak to me like this. And that's assuming I can even comprehend what the message is trying to type out. How does this person even have a provider license?

*edit* Upon going to the site suggested, I'm met with a pop-up that says "All appointment types are private, none are available for scheduling."

No help and always get prescriptions late

10/10 - Don’t recommend. I’ve been using Done (Which they are now Mindful Health - so you sign up on the Done Website and they have you download the app for them to reroute you to a whole new website, the app is no longer usable) since March of 2024, at the time I hadn’t used my ADHD medication in over a year and I had just moved, didn’t have a primary care provider so decided to do this option for convenience. Had my appointment and prescription within the same day, that was the only good part of this experience. Literally every single month since then I always get my prescriptions late, if I was traveling and even knew I needed it early I would let my prescriber know weeks in advance with travel itinerary and all and she would just forget to put it in or she would put it in but forget to put that it was for early pickup but by the time she would correct her mistake, I would already been gone for about a week. My prescriber only logs in for maybe 45 minutes out of the week so if you need anything like a refill, consultation, a medication adjustment, or even just a question you have to wait over a week AT LEAST to get any sort of response. For my job I travel a lot for work, some months I am fine with picking up on my normal pick up date (but I still never get it on my normal pick up date because again she’s always late with the refills) but other months where I’m traveling and I realize I’m gonna have to go two-three weeks without my prescription, I let her know weeks before I am leaving and the last time it happened, she suggested that a co worker ship it to me. A CO WORKER, granted there’s few I trust but even if that wasn’t the case, you know how much mail/packages get stolen especially during the holiday times? Then what would I do? Because I already asked if she could even put in the refill in another state (because some providers can) but she can’t. I let her know the first week of October that I was going to need my prescription a week early in November and a few days early in December, she approved it. Got my prescription for November when I got back from my trip and now it’s December 20th, I told her I need it by December 21st (multiple times) because I’m leaving and won’t be back home until FEBRUARY. I got locked out of my account due to the whole transition of making Done. into Mindful Health for the last 3 WEEKS. No one responded to me until today and now they are telling me that it all depends on the prescribers response, she won’t be back until December 28th and this time around I don’t have someone that can pick up my prescription and send it to me. So they are telling me that I am paying them this month subscription service to basically tell me I have to go a month without my prescription because they respect her work life balance so if she is not logged in, she will not be reached out to about the issue. I’m glad they respect her work life balance, but she works 10% of her week and they can see that. Just asked for a full refund for this month’s subscription and canceled my account. Now I’m going to have to detox off one of my prescriptions during the holidays/while traveling for work for huge meetings this next month. They don’t care about how their actions affect their patients because all they care about is getting their money every month, I’ve had to go through continuous issues and I have made so many complaints and each time they apologize and say they will make sure this never happens again. Well it happened again and this was the worst possible time they could have done this. If you don’t actually need the medication then maybe this site is just for you because you can get your monthly drugs at a discounted price just whenever their drug dealers are available to deliver to you.

Unreliable, Stress-Inducing, and Completely Unethical—Avoid at All Costs

Should be zero stars! I’ve been a customer of Done First for awhile, and my experience has been nothing but frustration from the start. The entire process is riddled with inefficiencies, poor communication, and a lack of accountability.

First, their policy requires a 3-day window to request medication refills. Despite adhering to this timeline (and often exceeding it), I encountered constant roadblocks. Sometimes my prescription was refilled on time, but more often, I had to send multiple emails and endure significant delays to get them to do it.

Communication is a nightmare. Done operates exclusively through email, which is cumbersome and unreliable. I experienced delays in responses, missing appointment links, and unhelpful replies from staff. When I reached out to my provider, I was often told, "That’s someone else’s responsibility," leaving me in limbo.

Scheduling appointments through their portal was another frequent issue. Their system works sporadically, and their consult message board often fails to show all messages and replies. On top of that, Done doesn’t even provide a phone number for direct contact. If you need assistance, you have to request a callback through the portal—a process that rarely resolves anything, as most representatives claim they need to escalate the issue or that it’s outside their scope.

The stress reached a new high when I discovered I had been discharged from their platform without any prior notification. I only found out by logging into my account, where I saw a message stating the provider had recommended me for discharge. The email I later received informed me I had 7 days to find a new provider. Seven days! Finding a new provider that quickly is nearly impossible where I live. This action was unethical and irresponsible, especially considering that my medication cannot be stopped abruptly without causing serious side effects.

This company has been nothing but a source of stress and anxiety. The portal is unreliable, the staff are unhelpful, and they only had one practitioner covering the entire state of North Carolina—an absurd setup for such a critical service. I was told I was discharged because I needed a "higher level of care" because I expected timely monthly refills and functional systems to schedule appointments and access virtual meetings. Apparently, these basic expectations were considered a "higher level of care"

I paid $960 a year for their services to manage my ADHD and anxiety medication, only to have this company significantly worsen my anxiety on a monthly basis for what should have been basic steps.

If you're considering using Done First, save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. Their lack of professionalism, reliability, and accountability is staggering.

Done’s response below is utterly meaningless. I’ve contacted their support team multiple times, including today, in an effort to resolve this issue. Their suggestion to “contact support” is absurd because that’s exactly who I’ve been dealing with repeatedly. This is nothing more than a performative, faux-concerned response meant to appear helpful. Don’t be misled—they have consistently shown zero care and concern.

Done verbally acknowledged on the phone today that they are fully aware of the withdrawal risks and still they refuse to offer meaningful assistance to get me to my mid Jan appt. which is the earliest appt I could get with any service provider in my area. This is not just poor service—it’s reckless disregard for patient well-being.

Terrible experiences time after time.

Being a customer with donefirst honestly has been the biggest nightmare i’ve ever experienced. So far two providers have all but ghosted me, leaving me without medication multiple times. Customer service consistently drops the ball and doesn’t respond to emails or doesn’t follow through with what they promised.

As of today I requested a refill six days ago. I reached out to done and my provider and no answer. Finally, I made an appointment with the care team over the phone to see if that would work. Appointment was for 11am they call me at 11:30. I explain the situation and they say they’ll reach out to my provider. They called back and say that my provider is in “urgent care.” They tell me they can offer me a new provider appointment but not until the 13th. I told him how unacceptable this answer is, that this isn’t like Amazon where you don’t receive an item when you get a refund, this is literally my body and a medication I’m taking and now had to go off of multiple times due to their inability to provide consistent care. I’ve given done so many chances and I’ve always been let down. I asked if I could at least get a copy of my medical records so I could start looking for a new provider. They told me if I do that they will discharge me because it shows that I’m looking to get medication in two places. I told them that is not my intent, but I have had very bad results with providers and appointments and need some sort of back up plan. I spoke to my general physician last year about these issues and he told me he may be able to help but would need my records from donefirst. I was finally feeling like the issues with them for us for over with when I found the new provider, but clearly nothing has changed. When I experienced these issues last year with them, I had customer service phone calls where they would assure me someone would call me back the next day and weeks would go by with no follow up. The only consistent thing I’ve had in regards to done first is the money i’m paying monthly. I’ve never had a phone call with a customer service representative that exuded any sort of empathy or intent to help. I don’t know what to do anymore, having ADHD is hard enough but constantly being on and off meds to me feels worse than just not having them at all. I’ve given done my money, my patience, and my trust but in return it’s been nothing but inconsistency and one letdown after another.

Email support is terrible…

The new mindful health won't accept my card and I'm about to lose my doctor, my meds, and my subscription because their email customer support is terrible at helping or listening. I tried calling the customer support phone number and they just dont answer it goes to voicemail. I hope Done reads this and responds thank you..... I saw your reply And I went to the link and it says I can't make an appointment. I mean really you guys what kind of customer support system have you put together? Because it's terrible. You say it's important to you to fix the problem but beyond that you are doing nothing to help.

I needed my medication filled and the pharmacy I normally had used had been out of my medication .. I began to worry that it was gonna take forever but it didn’t and I was expedited I would say and was very please thank you !!!

The entire team is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment. My therapist was not only skilled but also genuinely invested in my progress. They encouraged me to set realistic goals and celebrate my achievements, no matter how small. If I could rate less than 1 star

If I could rate less than 1 star, I would. When I first started with Done in 2022, it was so seamless and easy. I was very satisfied with the company. Now… they’re nothing but incompetent and terrible. They’ll change medical providers, or remove providers altogether, and you’ll be sitting wondering why you aren’t getting any responses for medication refills… nobody contacts you for corrections or anything. I had to wait 3 weeks for my medication one time because my doctor didn’t know the pharmacy I asked for wasn’t in network. I would HEAVILY advise not using Done at all.

“Paused” then “Cancelled”

I have been with Done for two years now. I’ve also put my 18-year-old son on the program as well. Everything has been smooth and I finally feel like I had the perfect dose. But as soon as I put in for renewal and the days passed I reached out to the pharmacy to see if they had heard anything and they hadn’t so they also sent a request to “Done” asking them For a prescription refill after not hearing anything I look into my app and it says they had canceled my account. Why is this? I have never had any issues with any membership fees. I’ve never had any issues with my membership. I have friends and family that I referred to this and still they canceled my membership without telling me why or even communicate anything with me. The worst part about it is there’s no way of contacting them. You have to put in a ticket and hope that somebody responds to you. But the response is you get is vague and they can’t find anything. It’s very frustrating. For some reason, it’s not allowing me to post pictures, but I have pictures and screenshots of every step that I went through and all I want is my prescription to continue life. I’m supposed to be starting a new position and the thought of being cut off cold turkey after just having my dose up to 30 mg is causing me serious anxiety. Why can’t Done just get back to me? I’ve already paid my membership fee. Why am I not able to get my prescription?

I went there to get help for my adhd

I went there to get help for my adhd. The doctor I have did not listen to what I had to say and ignore my messages for weeks. When I left I went to another doctor and they needed my medical records faxed over to them from done. I had to request it 3 times and then it took 2+ months to send them. Would not recommend if you are really looking for help with your mental health.

Inconsistent medications and no customer support

They charge monthly and still refused to provide any service for months.

At first, it seemed fast and convenient. I met with a doctor who prescribed me Adderall for my ADHD. He mostly sent refills when requested. However, he would not meet with me after the first appointment. I would schedule appointments and he would cancel them and make changes to my meds based on my comments. Then, I requested a refill and got no confirmation for days. I requested again, and again, heard nothing. I was out of meds at that point. A few days later, I got a notice that my doctor was not with Done anymore and that I was being transferred. The nurse practitioner they matched me with didn't have availability for 6 weeks. They would not give me a refill in the interim.

I finally met with her and the appointment was good. She adjusted my medication and we planned a follow up appointment for about 8 weeks later. I got confirmation of the appointment multiple times the week before, the day before, and even two hours before. I logged in at the appointment time and I got an error saying the appointment had been cancelled. No information other than that and no warning. I logged into Done and found that it said I was being transferred to a new practitioner. I clicked on the schedule a meeting and there were no appointments available. I scheduled a call with customer service for the next day.

The next day, I logged onto Done and found that my new practitioner had exactly one appointment available and it was 4 weeks away. When they called, I explained the situation. I told them I had an appointment for a medication adjustment that was cancelled without notice. I needed not just a refill, but a doctor who could help figure out the problems I was having, and I needed it sooner than a month from now. The person on the phone apologized profusely and said he would try to find me an earlier appointment.

The next day, I got an email confirmation that my practitioner had changed (first time they'd officially notified me of that) and that my appointment was confirmed for a month from now. I also got an email saying my ticket was being closed because I had an appointment so my issue had been resolved. I replied that my issue was not resolved and that this was not what I had discussed. They replied to the email chain and said they would keep the ticket open, but could not schedule an earlier appointment for me, so what did I want to do. I told them if they could not get me an earlier appointment, then close my account because I'm not paying for a service they're not providing. I heard nothing for several days. Then I got a reply to my email, saying they hadn't heard from me and asking if I wanted the ticket to remain open. I replied that I had responded and I was waiting for their response. Several more days pass. They reply again (all of this is in the same email chain!) saying that since they haven't heard from me, they are closing the ticket and considering the issue resolved.

I went in and manually closed my account. Done is, at best, an open prescription pad, and at worst, a monthly subscription service that refuses to provide service whenever they feel like it. I ended up paying for 3 months where they did nothing for me. They also don't take insurance, so all of that was out of pocket. I would advise anyone not to rely on this service.

My first interaction with Done in 2022…

My first interaction with Done in 2022 was horrendous and I felt they were a scam. When my doctor retired and I no longer had insurance I gave them another try. Since I had already been taking medication, they were able to handle treating me. I was given the same provider. I guess when you sign up there's no way to switch providers. He was ok but it was really difficult to get things dialed in correctly. I ultimately needed to see an in-person provider.

The Done provider felt the solution to my meds wearing off before the end of the work day was to increase the morning dose. I ended up with feeling like it was too much in the morning and still didn't last through the end of the work day. Ultimately, I ended up seeing an in-person provider to get things dialed in accurately. I would probably use Done in a pinch again but I would not choose them over an in-person provider given the choice.

AVOID FOR YOUR HEALTH.

This company tricks you into signing up for a service where they can't even provide an appointment for over a month out, despite taking your money for NOTHING. When you try to get in touch, all you will get is the run-around. Even if you set up a time to receive a call, all you will get is a text saying they tried calling when it never happened in the first place. This service is borderline fraud, do better!!
