In My Opinion Openly Encouraging Fraud for Profit
Corrupt and vindictive organisation, knowingly defrauding people out of their money. They do their best to hide the compulsory electronic forms and in my case the forms didn't work. I therefore contacted the website received confirmation that my account was being closed, I'd had it open for 1 week. A 2nd email should have been sent with a cancellation confirmation link, but it wasn't. Unfortunately, the crooks then took another payment from my account. Immediately I received notification on my phone. I rang the bank and explained the situation and although the money was still pending they couldn't stop it.
I contact the crooks at DF and they suggested I complete a refund form within 24 hours. Guess what, the form didn't work. Again I contacted DF and they sent a link. I had to log onto the site several times before finding the necessary form. It was completed and sent. During all this time I took screenshots showing usage.
DF came back to say because I had logged on to the site and they also claimed made 150+ connections in 2 days, (which is totally untrue), that I was not entitle to my refund.
Fortunately, being a Trading Standards Office will help me but unfortunately, that doesn't help others.
With regard to the site, I received over 400 contacts in the month, not one was genuine. None of the women were in the UK, the vast majority were from the USA. Without fail, they all wanted money for various reasons. This site is knowingly hiding fraud and encouraging it for profit.
