Went through everything and was great to work with

Can I tell you I consider Dr. Alexa the “Tooth Fairy!” I woke up about 5 am with painless swelling to my gums and I was not aware of any dental issues at all. I tried to make an appointment with my dentist but nothing available sooooo… I did a google search for a physician who could treat until I could see my dentist. That’s when I found my Tooth Fairy! Asked me all pertinent questions regarding symptoms, health status, and allergies. My treatment was not only tailored to my specific needs but there were choices of treatment.

This is a total scam. They collect your money and do nothing. I have been waiting for a day and nothing. I have to now contact the bank to place a dispute because of the scam tactic.

4 days later and no help and still says “not assigned”.

No apology when I asked for refund or anything.

Total waste of time

Worst company ever. Never sent prescription. Won’t answer any calls or emails. Legit robbery. Do not use these guys - way to many other options out there

Don’t be scared! I was worried if it is legit and yes it is legit and it’s 4th of July weekend so no Dr is open in my town. Even if they were I don’t want my primary physician to know about my recent escapade that led to me needing meds. Reason: I had a more than embarrassing incident in a hot tub and was worried I had BV. Googled online physicians because I’m not using doctor on demand since I’ve had bad experiences with them, they’ll take $150 from you and not prescribe you anything. So I Went on dr Alexa and I filled out all the info. Within 4 hours had my script filled at my usual pharmacy. 10/10 I recommend. Now I won’t be smelling like a fish market in august or feeling like a walking parasite.

I was hesitant about using Doctor Alexa after reading some of the negative reviews on Better Business Bureau, but noticed that Doctor Alexa responded to these reviews with answers that seemed reasonable and authentic. I've had a dental infection for over a week, it was not getting better, needed antibiotics. Within an hour of registering with Doctor Alexa and giving my symptoms, a prescription for antibiotics was sent to my local pharmacy. It was very easy and stress-free. Doctor Alexa is a legitimate medical service for people who do not have a chance to see a doctor right away.

Excellent care. Filled out my questionnaire which took about 5 minutes and received an instant response. Scripts were ready to pick up at my local pharmacy within an hour and my insurance covered them. This is definitely not a scam as others have suggested. I am very pleased with my experience.

Scam site. It collected my data -- copy of drivers license, birthdate, etc., but then couldn't fulfill the order.
It's just a scam to collect your personal data.

The BBB gave Dr. Alexa an “F”. Check it out.

I found this site online. I filled out everything they asked, I sent payment. Within 30 min, they called in my Prescription. My pharmacy called me to tell me it was ready. This is a legit company. And they work fast. Thank you for your help. Being that it's a holiday weekend...I couldn't get to my dentist.

Anyone saying that the positive reviews are fake are lying. I had the worst tooth pain ever mouth swollen couldn’t even speak. Reached out to Dr.Alexa had my prescription sent to pharmacy in less then an hour and am already 80%better. Don’t let the fake bad reviews scare you

This is a SCAM. Totally unresponsive. Nobody responds. Any positive reviews are FAKE.

Not have consultation. They just copy receipt, and you choice treatment, ok it not first with me, and I know what me need, but they sand only for 1 days my treatment!!! Not for week. And what they want, they want that I pay every day for receipt for my 2 pills. Need minimum 14!!!

Scripts were received by pharmacy less than 30 mins after I paid, I was skeptical but now impressed and will come back if I have issues in the future!

So first off: the website is kind of crude and seems a bit shady since it's a rather basic UX design and not polished like most professionally made company websites; I think they really need a better web developer to polish it up. I actually got worried when I was waiting the first couple of hours as it stated it was waiting for my allergen info form (that I had already submitted), and I was searching around AFTER paying the fee finding lots of complaints about it being fake/fraud - then all of a sudden I got an update that my prescription was phoned in to the pharmacy and should be ready, and that I should call the pharmacy within 30-40min to schedule my pickup. I saw some reviews elsewhere mention this didn't pan out for them, though - so I had to call to be sure.

It was ready - for my particular prescription it was immediately available for pickup! Within 3 hours I had my prescription ready to go at Walgreens and picked it up before they closed for the day after calling (and waiting on hold for 10min) to verify my prescription had been phoned in. Finally, a sudden issue that I got diagnosed for in a lab test for a separate online testing procedure this past week was able to be immediately addressed instead of having to take up my work day(s) trying to figure out an in-person appointment as the original company I used online (not this one) couldn't address my specific issue and told me to go to my PCP, which I don't have and the only in-network ones for my insurance are a bit of a drive away from where I live. This process really helped, but I find it unfortunate for those I read that it didn't work out, though. I imagine this might depend on your local pharmacy and particular prescription need.

Oddly the allergen form I got texted a link to a submit-once form, and had to fill out on my phone instead of on my PC, which is where things seemed to be disconnected and delayed for some reason. It did warn that once you submitted you couldn't try again, and future usage of the link just directed me to a page saying it was submitted already - but my treatment page said it was still waiting for my allergen info. Bad experience delivered at this stage here; it seemed like it never received my allergen form because that was the current status of my treatment state for at least an hour, and I tried messaging their 'live chat' service which seemed like a form that didn't even do anything, but after another hour passed I got the final update.

I think they could streamline the process a bit more with a little more feedback on the status so you're not left wondering as much as I was, but the end result was worth it.

I hope this thorough experience helps alleviate others' concerns as I seriously got worried for a bit considering how stressful this week has been for me. Not a 5/5 simply because they could polish the process and the website more, but it worked as advertised eventually and I got the treatment I need TODAY, not days from now, and not having to drive tens of miles to afford a doctor's thumbs up.

I needed medication (antibiotics) for an urgent health issue. Local clinics couldn't schedule me in because they're booked 4-6 weeks out. I searched around and found Dr. Alexa showing that they treat my type of issue. Filled out a form, submitted my medical documents (had lab results that were done a week ago). Within 2 hours I got a call and had a consultation with a medical professional who issues a prescription sent to my local pharmacy. The prescription got delivered for free the next day to my doorstep.

One thing to note when you read the reviews from folks who had trouble with their prescription / pharmacy: CHECK that your state allows a nurse practitioner to prescribe the type of medication you're being prescribed. Some states don't allow it. Ours does allow it, so for antibiotics this was not a problem.

Overall this was SO MUCH EASIER than dealing with local clinics and going through insurance. I don't mind my "co-pay" being slightly higher than what insurance would charge.

Contacted to help our son (over 18) with symptoms of Strep Throat, completed health questionaire, visit was easy, fast and script provided to pharmacy of request. Was offered choice of antibiotics that have previously worked well for same condition. With Penicillin allergy, an alternate is needed and was provided.

Do not use this site they have nurse practitioner writing perspiration that can’t be filled in states were only a doctor can write perspiration there is no customer service and I have no perspiration and no refund this place is a ripoff!!!!!
