We bought these towels MANY years ago (2018), when they first were presented on Dragons Den. We are on our holiday in Greece and just mentioning to each other how great these towels are and how long they have lasted us, still in great condition. Also realising we need more. A towel to lay on the sand and one to use to dry off with. Absolutely the best travel and beach towel. Need to place an order for our next beach holiday.

Wow! Amazing 👌 I was dubious about ordering these beach towels. I wondered if they would be just more junk which you normally end up with when buying off the internet.
I can honestly say these are not that. I love them, lightweight, soft and most impressively they suck the water off you. O and then dry super quick. Thank you.

Not a fan…
Decided to return the towels and they request that you show proof of payment. Really? I’m sure they would NOT have sent the towels if I didn’t pay for them. Not to mention the format you have to use to print info out is NOT at all user friendly, I had to go to staples and have them print out and it still was not correct.

We don't usually ask customers for proof of payment to make a return, so we're sorry if something along the way gave that impression. To return an item, you simply request a return through our website and we'll email you the return address and instructions. There's no need to print anything: you're very welcome to handwrite the address on the parcel and pop a note with your order number inside the package. We do recommend keeping your proof of postage from the post office, just in case anything goes missing in transit 🩷

Really disappointed, all of money wasted
After reading alot of reviews. I brought two XL beach towels and two beach pillows, currently on a weeks holiday in Greece using them. After the first day the towels looked like ive been using them for a month, they looked filthy, they dont quick dry, the water sits in a pool on top of the towel, fabric on the towels and pillows mark really easy, my £5 beach towels from matalan are better quality. Really disappointed, an absolute waste of £125

What you're describing with the water pooling on the surface isn't how our DryQ™ fabric should perform at all, and we'd love to look into that properly for you. Unfortunately, marks from the outdoors aren't something we can completely avoid but we do have a bunch of handy washing tips to help keep your towels looking their best for years and years 🧺

Excellent Customer service
Have bought a number of items from Dock and Bay and the quality is normally excellent. The item we received had a flaw in it but what was so lovely was that the customer service team, specifically Rose and Avry were excellent. Speedy responses, polite and apologetic and rectified the issue without any difficulty.

Recently bought towels and inflatable pillows for my holiday.
Towels are a games changer for me. Soft and quick drying. I bought the extra large and it gives fantastic room with a brolly over the top. The pillows are great. However after the sand fell out a second time I shall look to bring another filler like a wheat bag or other next time. I can understand why Velcro wasn’t added but it might help. Loved the service. Recently ordered the dry bag…. Amazing if a little heavy.
Will investigate indoor towels.

Simply game changer of a towel.
Drys me quickly, takes up almost no space at all in my gum bag, and is dry again in a very very short time while I hang inside my van after gym as I work.
It's simply brilliant. I am shocked at how it works so well

I have recently ordered a couple of items after seeing everywhere how fabulous the towels are, as well as other items. I was contacted to explain one of the items were unfortunately out of stock, I was offered a replacement of my choice or a refund, I chose a replacement. The responses were fast and very very helpful, the team that reached out throughout the day were incredible and I cannot stress enough, that in today's society, customer service like this is very rare. 100% recommend purely down to how incredible the team are, I cannot wait to receive my items. Thank you so much for this pleasant experience Dock & Bay.

Same issue around quality of finish.
Second time I have ordered from this company and second time product has come badly made. The towel this time has been sown straight it’s all wonky. The picnic blanket is super heavy and feel really hash and rough. Certainly not something you would want to be sitting on. And now will have to pay fortune to return the items at sellers own cost. Such a shame as had high hopes. What I will say is the tea towels were amazing. But this second experience definitely put me off buying and promoting the product to other people.

Delivery said it would be 24-48 hours
5* product (the blanket). But i would suggest ordering from a third party retailer, as my order was placed but got lost. The chatbot was no help, and it was only through finding an email adress in a forum that i could contact cuatomer services. Who were ultimately helpful.

Talk about harassment
Talk about harassment. I looked at their website once and wanted a discount code - queue 18 e-mails in a week demanding I buy something and making sinister creepy comments "You've been caught", "Someone's stopped responding", "Clearly you've got a lot on your plate already", these are weird and creepy statements to make to a stranger.

Missing parcel, zero customer service
I did not receive my order EU-42447, even though the delivery provider marked it as delivered. Neither my boyfriend nor I were at home at the time, and nobody accepted it on our behalf either. I contacted Dock & Bay via their customer form a week ago and have still not heard back, despite them claiming they respond within 24 hours. This company does not seem to care about its customers. Based on my experience, I would not recommend ordering from them.

Misleading sizing
Their marketing centres around their towels and picnic blankets being much bigger than others available on the market however their ‘Large’ towel doesn’t cover a sun lounger and is no bigger than any other towel I own. Same with the picnic blanket - you’re led to believe it’s much larger than it actually is. I wouldn’t recommend, I think their marketing is misleading and I wouldn’t have purchased had I realised the true sizing.

Misleading marketing, make sure you know what you’re ordering
The advert for the towel I ordered was misleading. Description said Bath Towel but I received something the size of a tea towel. The photo alongside what I ordered showed a woman with a bath towel. Be careful! And you have to pay for returns so I’m out of pocket despite the misleading advertising.

Our bath towels are available in multiple sizes, which need to be selected before adding to basket. The size and measurements are shown at this stage, and when larger sizes sell out, only the remaining “hand towel” option will be available to select.
That said, we appreciate this may not always be clear, and we’re reviewing how this is displayed going forward.

It all started with a hair wrap gifted by a friend. I loved it so much that I decided to buy a matching towel… then towels for the whole family… and then came the bag, my “spa bags,” as I like to call them!
First I bought one for myself, then two more for my sisters, and now even my son’s WAGs have them. It’s dangerous for me to go on the website!
I love everything about these products—the bold, striking colours, the quality, the great bundle deals, and best of all, the feel-good factor of knowing they’re made from recyclable materials.
Beautifully designed, high-quality products. I’ll definitely be buying more!
