Book without hesitation, exceptional value worth every penny
We chartered Babalu through DMA with a group of friends for a trip through Greece and the Cyclades, and it was truly one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. From the moment we stepped on board, the experience felt seamless, luxurious, and deeply personal.
Sailing through the Cyclades was unforgettable — the blue water, the islands, the quiet coves, the sunsets, and the feeling of waking up somewhere beautiful each morning made the whole trip feel like a dream. Babalu was the perfect yacht for our group: comfortable, elegant, spacious, and beautifully maintained.
Captain Selios was outstanding. He was calm, knowledgeable, patient, and kind, and he made everyone feel completely safe and cared for throughout the charter. Anna was amazing — warm, attentive, and always one step ahead of what we needed. Irene, our chef, was truly exceptional. Every meal was fresh, thoughtful, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. She made the food one of the highlights of the entire experience.
The whole crew created the perfect balance of true luxury and genuine hospitality. They were professional without ever feeling formal, attentive without being intrusive, and patient and kind with everyone in our group. This was a once-in-a-lifetime Greece experience, and I cannot recommend Babalu, DMA, and this crew highly enough. Five stars all the way.

The Trip of a Lifetime
We worked with Leo Marousos to charter a sailboat for our group of nine, to sail around the Cyclades in June. I cannot say enough about Leo's competence, attentiveness, thoroughness and patience in dealing with us and our occasionally changing plans. He planned out an itinerary that exactly met our wishes, then made changes that we suggested that meshed precisely with our suggestions, and made for a trip that all members of our group agreed was "the trip of a lifetime." Leo helped us select a boat that looked just right for our needs, and then, when, at the last minute, that boat turned out to be unavailable in time for our trip, he found us another, even larger boat, that was beautiful and absolutely perfect, and allowed us to take it for the same price. Leo stayed regularly in touch with helpful suggestions, and met us at the dock before we departed and then again on our return. He obviously had great rapport with our captain. And I cannot fail to add our profound feelings of satisfaction with and admiration for the captain and crew of the Arktos. No one's needs or desires went unmet. The food led us all to feel that we were floating on the best restaurant we had ever known. George's margaritas were tops, and always available (as were his excellent lattes). Our boat was always the prettiest boat in whatever harbor we happened to be in, and people were always stopping to take pictures of it. All in all, the trip was one none of us will ever forget, and it probably will never be exceeded in the pleasure it brought to us.

Our 33-person charter in Croatia via DMA
Our experience working with DMA Yachting was incredible. From the first outreach through to the moment we stepped off the yacht at the end of our trip I had a direct line to no fewer than 2 people who could quickly respond and address any question or need we had. This was our first time chartering a yacht of this size and with a group of 33 people it was quite an undertaking. John and Lucy rose to the challenge, were super helpful, patient, and fun to work with. In the end, the trip was a flawless success and I cannot thank them and DMA Yachting for all their help! I have already recommended them to two other friends looking to do charters in the future.

ETHNA Amalfi Coast
Had an incredible experience onboard ETHNA sailing the amalfi coast. Crew was fabulous accommodating all of us including a vegetarian with every meal catering to delight each of us. Fun water toys for everyone on this yacht. If you want to play in the water this is the yacht for you! They really want to make sure everyone has a great time and captain Andrea was so flexible and arranged all transfers so we never had a care in the world. They even decorated for our white party we planned with matching uniforms!. So many little things they did to go above and beyond for us every day you can tell they work well together and want everyone to enjoy. Can’t say enough good things about this crew!! And of course the yacht is amazing. Louis at DMA supported us with help planning the itinerary and communicating all the details to make sure all went smoothly. Great service at every step and would highly recommend!
