I found this company excellent

I found this company excellent. They did what they said they would do. I was kept up to date at all times. If I needed any info or didn't understand something, I would just send Faye a message and she would come back to me to clarify. I could speak to her on the phone and she was very helpful. The solicitors kept me up to date all along and sent their own surveyors to my property. Very professional all the way through and I got compensation also.

Damp and mould issues

Fully recommend,they have helped my mental health more then anything,constantly being put on hold whilst ringing about damp and mould in my property,being told it was due to condensation!! Told to keep windows open and heating on!! It was structural damage nothing to do with me,so the cracks on the outside wall was causing damp and mould,since 2019 I have complained,nothing was done,since getting housing disrepair team involved they are in process of fixing cracks in outside walls,I have new heating installed as the old economy 7 was costing a small fortune to heat up and run,plus the dust particles underneath,was causing allergies when used as could not hoover underneath,please use them,I can not thank them enough,I've finally been taken seriously and listened to ever since I got them involved,the legal team are amazing as well,all of them polite,friendly and professional 100% recommend especially Faye,she deserves a housing angel medal 😇

On the very day that Trustpilot took down my review of Disrepairs Claims as my claim was said to be 'inaccurate'.... the Company called again with the same patter!

I finally feel listened too!

Where do I start?

I cannot thank this company enough! I had been suffering with damp and mould in my home for years. Time after time I kept getting letting down by my own Council and did not know where to turn. This company was a breath of fresh air; The team listened to all my troubles and were so empathetic from start to finish. The process was so quick and within a matter of weeks I have a fresh home where I can feel comfortable and much healthier. I even managed to receive some compensation which certainly helped pay for all the furniture I lost from mould damage!

***Avoid at all costs. Better help is out there.***

From my personal experience this is a very shady and untrustworthy company. Contacted me whilst at my most vulnerable when my boiler had packed up in near freezing conditions. My first solicitor was nice (now on my third as they keep leaving the company) but I was soon told I needed to sign a 35 page contract. Whilst I was considering it somebody called and said they would wait on the telephone until I had read 35 pages of legal jargon and signed it. In the end I signed (marked unread) just to get them off the phone and leave me alone. Since then a surveyor has attended my property and completed a report that is full of errors and lies, obviously trying to jump up the claim. As this is a legal document I have pointed out the errors, as I would not expect professionals to submit incorrect evidence, and refused to sign it until it had been amended and was correct. I was asked to call them to discuss, which I did in a 41min call to a number specified, only to find out after this was a premium rate number costing me £24.33. Today I received a letter basically stating the report would not be changed and unless I went along with it they would charge me for services so far. Needless to say I will not be signing any legal document that may be presented to court with knowing lies and untruths, even if it is for my benefit. I would avoid these at all costs as whilst it may seem a great idea at the time and they appear as though they want to help, you will soon see the real side and be trapped in a lose lose situation. Simple solution, go seek legal advice on your own. These do not have your best interests at heart, it is purely greed and financial gain for themselves.

Dear Sir, Thank you for your leaving us a review. You say your experience makes us a shady company, we are a regulated company that takes great pride in helping our clients. You then say about having three solicitors, we are not a firm of solicitors, also if the solicitors asked for you to sign a 35 page document that would be to run your case as they were happy to accept it, you also mention that someone said they would stay on the phone, in our experience that would of been for one reason alone to help you or answer any questions. Again you mention a surveyor attending, i would speak to the solicitor and check if that was their surveyor or a surveyor sent by the council. a final point to address, is since your case was passed to a solicitor we have not had one call to say you were not satisfied with what we did which was simply collect the photos of your disrepairs and complete an audit report for the solicitor. We do however value all feedback and will certainly be speaking to the solicitor to understand what has potentially gone wrong here. Again please do not think we are not taking your feedback on board, but please understand your complaint is not about anything we have specifically done. stay safe and thankyou for your feedback

beware of fake company claiming to be this company

We received a cold call from a company claiming to be Housing Disrepair Claims but as a home owner and landlord registered with the TPS Service guessed it was a scam company attempting to appear as being this company Disrepair Claims, close but no cigar ..checking online found this the genuine company with the disclaimer ref unsolicited calls. called the number and gave them the email we managed to get from cold caller. housingdisperair.info@gmail and the fake tel number 01615273048 . Unfortunately scammers that use names close to genuine companies spoil the good work the genuine companies do helping people with problems with rogue landlords. .

Fake ads

So I'm currently looking for a company to help with subsidence that my housing association have been covering up and i came across Disrepair claims floating with all the typical fake YT ad's so i done some research and for starters it depends on which one..the one you get redirected to a site housing-complaints.co.uk this is fake 100% it does not show on the FDA's autherisation list. unlike the original Disrepair claims listed as w.direspairclaims.online with firm reference number:- 911819 and Registered company number:- 10451654 but this does not come up as any searches in google or the link on the FDA's list? but that could be a issue at my end but if you get the same then i advise you to look else where and always check for a Firm and/or Registered company number on the FDA website. hope this helps

Any negative reviews must be fabricated, I didn’t believe it to start, but went with these guys, they are regulated by the FCA, and searched to get me the best solicitor I got over 3 thousand and a new roof, new kitchen and a lot of decorating, I’ve recommended 3 people and wil recommend more

I don’t usually do this sort of thing but I have had so much help from this company from start to finish, they have replied to every call and text when I needed reassuring of something!!!
It didn’t cost me a penny from my own pocket and I now have a home where I can invite my friends around without feeling embarrassed and had some compensation money, myself and my son will enjoy getting our home looking nice without the worry of the problems coming back.
Very thankful xxx

This company has helped me so much

This company has helped me so much. They were so supportive all the way through my claim. They kept in contact with me all the way through and are a lovely team. They got all my repairs done and I received some compensation too, would recommend.

Compensation! I DONT THINK SO

This company does not have the tenants interest at heart in the slightest. if there is a successful claim the solicitor gets the lions share of any compensation they are only using the tenants to make money for their practice.
They don't do not qualify the claims and let tenants know the likely out come they just throw enough claims at the wall and see which sticks and which can make them enough money. Yes a low percentage of tenants do make successful claims but just Look at how much your claims company have made from your troubles along the way to the courts; Just ask! YOUR BEING USED!. Your easiest route would be to start a 3 stage complaint, which every Housing Association has in place and take it all the way to the ombudsman you'll get your home repaired and or receive the compensation you deserve. Alternatively Approach the Environmental Health Department every city or town has one they will take action on your behalf sue the landlord and advise you on any compensation claims. Don't let these people take any money you should receive
