I just canceled discoveryplus. My favorite show is untold stories of the ER. I've streamed many of the shows in the series. Now, all of a sudden, I have to pay extra to watch it. I am so tired of streaming services that chip away from their value and then wonder why you cancel them.

Without any doubt the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Had an issue and close to 30 emails later zero attempt to help, issue not resolved, they don’t listen, too many bot style generic responses. They love to pass the buck and they also love to take your money. Absolutely hideous experience. Avoid.
High prices and low quality
Trying to watch the Champions League but when I choose a game to watch it goes to another game or it goes to a screensaver, I unsubscribed after 2 weeks. It's the most expensive sports package with the worst broadcasting, even if you manage to watch a game, the quality is really laggy and blurry as if someone is recording it through their phone

Appalling. Most days I tried to watch the rugby recordings the videos simply wouldn't play. Contacted tech support. Useless and very frustrating - after 45 minutes of asking me stupid questions, with 5 - 10 minute waits between responses, and not seeming to understand the very basics of what I was asking for, I gave up. A waste of 31 pounds for a month of nothing.

My father passed away 9.7.24, I have emailed over 6 times, they have replied, I have informed that I cannot unfortunately find any info at all apart from the direct debit each month.....STILL havent cancelled service, nor refunded and STILL taking monthly subscriptions! I am disgusted with the lack of care and stress at an already very upsetting time. Each reply is a new person at D+, each time they promise to look into things and come back to me, they never do...they do not care at all about customers, especially going through a bereavement, SHAME on you Discovery + for being so cruel!

This time is right. I've been having issues with discovery + (trying to get content), message on my TV screen for the past 3 months about 3 times a week and it's gotten worse. So frustrating. I did email customer service and gave them the needed information along with picture of message on screen. No answer. Help center says they will reply in 24 business hours. Do they? NO! Am I frustrated? YES! All I want is it to be fixed. Is that asking too much?

How can a sizeable business employ tech that is quite pathetic. Have you tried searching for anything such as a particular sport? Well, you will NEVER find it! And the layout of the search results simply confuses. How can a corporation exist with such poor technical ability? Often, the streaming just gets confused too. Discovery Plus still sucks
Well, still waiting to hear from Discovery Plus since there is NO way to talk to them. All you get is a robot that can’t do a thing to help n you. Wow. Discovery Plus used to be a favorite of a lot of people, but not anymore, all bc of their sorry service. Take my advice. It’s not worth the hassle.

What a scam - my wife signed for the olympics and they autoenrolled us in a £30.99/month plan we never asked or needed. Only discovered it now, 4 months into it.
Expensive way to watch reruns
1. They make it close to impossible to cancel the service. 2. The cost doesn't seem bad until you realize that you're paying to watch reruns and the commercials are frequent and very repetitive. 3. Discovery will show the same commerical back to back in the same commercial break period just to use up advertising time 4. You can sign up on your TV but if your want to cancel, you get bounced from TV to Internet to having to download the app just to cancel.

It’s so much better just using freeview and funnily enough freeview has less adverts!!

I love Discovery +, my one beef (minus 1 star for annoyance!!): If you get the super cheap 99 cent ad-supported version, well, when it said commercial breaks, I thought there would be more than 1 commercial! This one same commercial for some stupid teen girly show plays every. single. time! I would not watch that show if you paid me JUST because of the hard in-your-face sell! Well, that and it looks dumb. Please, PLEASE! If nothing else get a couple more versions of that ad!! Geez!

Today I can’t sign in. I have been writing passwords and scanning qr codes but nothing happens. Why on earth do we have to have all this security rubbish. It’s complete overkill and spoils all the intended joy of watching anything. I am going to stop watching sport on TNT or Discovery whatever it is. It just is not worth it. It was easier in the days when you had to go up in the loft and adjust the aerial. This is just utter crap.
