Ich habe WERBEFREIE Abo von Discoveryplus bestellt.

Trotzdem kommen Anzeigen, die man nicht vorspulen kann (habe Spiel aus Mediathek zeitversetzt nach geschaut).

Im Livechat :
Kundenbetreuer: Werbesponsoren bestehen darauf, dass man Anzeigen schaltet.
Ich: ist nicht mein Problem, da steht WERBEFREI.
Kundenbetreuer: Dann lesen Sie die AGBs.
Ich: Das ist Betrug und Vorspiegelung falscher Tatsachen.
Kundenbetreuer: Ich gebe es weiter.

Ich vermute, wir sehen uns vor Gericht.

I had exactly the same experience as DP on 21 May. Deximu is a scam, stay well clear!

Had an issue I needed help with. Got through to a human on chat very quickly and Stephen helped me with my query in a prompt and pleasant manner.

Firstly, I believe Discovery+ are a legitimate business and have no criticism of them. However, last week I logged in as a guest to watch a one-off free sports event. During the process I was directed to a web page requesting my credit card details to verify I was in the UK. A few days later my bank contacted me about a suspicious transaction of £39.99 to a company called Deximu.com. I established that scammers had managed to obtain my credit card details by hacking into the Discovery+ website. My bank have cancelled my old credit card, but have now paid this money to these scammers. In essence I have lost almost £40 to criminals, due to no fault of my own. BEWARE OF THIS WHEN USING DISCOVERY+.

Absolute scam
package is via my sky account and the discovery+ menu shows many streams at ROLAND GARROS!!
after 4 hours talking to SKY and Discovery+ as no pictures available on my TV!!
IM TOLD THE PACKAGE I HAVE DOES NOT COVER THE TENNIS but i can pay extra for the TNT package showing Tennis!!

I’d give “Discovery Plus Channel” a negative 5 if I could!! There are just sooooo many problems with it!!! I don’t want to waste my time so I’ll give you 1 example instead of the 60 that I could give!!!
The Naked and Afraid show is a Discovery Channel show. The show has a spinoff show called Last one Standing. Last one standing is a Discovery Channel show, and the 3rd season first episode was aired on the Diccovery channel May 18th 2025, however, if you missed the airing, that would be ok because it would be available for streaming immediately, RIGHT? …WRONG!! It’s been 2 days and DISCOVERY CHANNEL PLUS still will not stream that first episode to their customer who pay for the plus channel!!! So I went into the Prime paying channel, just to see if they had the 1st episode already available to stream, and YES they did!!!
DO NOT PAY FOR DISCOVERY PLUS!!! Save your money!!!

£31/month to watch the downhill MTB once every few weeks, used to cost £7/month, absolute joke.

These are a joke, who wants to pay for a load of stinking pig shite.
£3.99 per month basic but so many adverts!!
Netflix basic is £5.99 with the odd short add and programs worth watching. Don’t waste your time and money with discovery minus !!!

Just joined Discovery + to watch the Giro. Can't believe the amount of adverts despite forking out £30.99/month.
Incredible price hike from last year when cycling was delivered through Eurosport. Thumbs down for TNT and Discovery+

On cancelling my subscription I received an email stating :
’Changed your mind? By reactivating your current subscription you can continue to enjoy your ad-free on-demand viewing experience. Simply click the button below before xx-xx-2025.’

I contacted the support team about their ad-free claim. They replied:
’I understand that the email you have received says Ad Free on-demand viewing experience, that shouldn’t be the case. However, will share it with the feedback team, I hope it gets updated in near future’
Is this a case for the Trade Description Act?

I only watch the speedway season on discovery plus. Last year was £6.99 month now it’s £30.99.
Not paying that.
They told me you have football etc.
I hate football.
RIP off lost me as a customer.
Asking for more they have got less.
Signed up for years watching speedway not no more I will go on a different service

£30.99 a month just to watch couple of speedway GP a month? Ridiculous!!! Just do separate premium for separate channels!!

Oh my goodness. There is hardly any sport on there. Wheelchair tennis and Australian soccer minor leagues.

Occasional top matches at a rate of one every 4 to 6 weeks.

The other offerings are B list celebrity chat shows and the kind of repeats you get on ITV4.

For over £30 a month.

Cancelled. At least there is no long contract, and cancelling is easy.

The cost for watching mtbing which is on for only 6 months is ridiculous. I used to watch it on the basic subscription which was ok. I will not be paying what they want at all.
Rip off merchants!!!

When GCN+ closed. It was terrible for watching cycle racing, used to cost £39 a year. Then Discovery plus sold it at £6.99 a month. Swallowed the bitter pill and got on with it. NOW its £30.99 a month. Talk about rip off. And yes you get access to lots of other sport but if you only watch cycle racing your doomed. Just can't swallow that pill. Why oh why didn't they spilt the sports into three packages like Sky did. That might have been a better option. I hate how massive corporations get to take over like this. What happened to fair play. If one giant supermarket chain tried to take over another it would be stopped. How did watching cycle racing in the UK come to this.

Terribly bad when streaming the app to Apple TV, last year I had no issues but now every time the adverts are on the connection to the Apple TV cuts out and I have to reconnect it. I can only assume something has changed with the way the programme is broadcast which causes it to lose connection every time the adverts are on. This is not the sort of thing I would expect in 2025, it’s like being back on dial up!

Used to love discovery plus until they put adds on without choice. Watched something on Monday and every 5 minutes their was an add. So off putting. Least with other streaming services you have a choice if you want adds or not

I use to love discovery plus but u may as well not download and just get cable. They only show a small percentage of shows new that are on ID if that's what I got it for. It use to show everything that was on ID. It's BS because when I got it was so great either get better content or we are all cancelling

Why do u get kicked out every 5 minutes???!!!! This is an everyday occurrence!!! I can watch Hulu, Paramount, frdly, Netflix all day long with no problems streaming. I don’t get kicked out. Then I switch to discovery plus and it is the worst!!! I think I have 1 more month in me to pay for services then I’m done for good. It’s 2025 this should not be happening with streaming!!
