Ryan Bliss discovered his visual art talent when he received his first computer in 1995. Previously he had always wanted to be a writer and hadn’t studied visual arts in school. He has degrees in English and Computer Science from the University of Iowa. The 3D tools which were just becoming available to the public in the mid-90s opened a whole new world of creative expression for Ryan. His chosen medium has always been "desktop wallpaper". His work is designed from the ground-up to both draw the eye from across the room and stand up to close inspection. He started his web gallery, "Digital Blasphemy", in 1997 and it has been his full-time job since 1999. He currently has over 1000 images available on his site available for Members as well as a collection of free wallpapers for visitors. Ryan currently lives in Illinois with his wife Jessica and two sons Ian and Jason.

Absolutely horrible customer service with logins. You shouldn't have to pay 25 dollars for a membership and then lose said membership. It's a real shame because ive been using the free ones since 2006.

I canceled my membership through my financial institution. I like how you completely dismissed my ability to login though. Reassures me that your service is no longer needed or deserves support.
Excellent customer service be dismissing your customers complaints. Way to prove my point.

Very sorry I didn't see this review until now. I take customer service very seriously and always respond to folks who email me with questions and concerns. I've looked through all of my emails and do not see a request from you Cameron. My site allows you to reset your password and if for some reason that doesn't work my customer service form is a direct line to me. I see that you canceled your Membership in September 2024 so you were indeed able to log in. Please feel free to contact me if you feel you've been cheated in some way. I haven't remained in business for 25+ years by offering poor customer service!

Infinite Imagination
Nothing to loose, a world of visual imagination to gain. No annoying ads or marketing, I signed up for lifetime membership years back, and then recently added annual support to that, absolutely worth it if it helps to keep new renders going. Excellent work.

On every workstation and every laptop I’ve used as a professionel IT Consultant I have had a rendering from DB’s impressive work.

I have used Ryan's wallpaper for longer than I can recall it would not be the same without a new view every couple of weeks, Automatically changes every 10 minutes ramdomly so I never know what is coming, Thanks Ryan :

Amazing artist. Literally the best desktop art I’ve ever seen. I especially love that he renders for so many screen sizes, everything is available to members and it’s worth every penny. It’s super important to support the arts and excellent artists.

Excellent digital artworks
I have been a member for 15 years or so and known about the artwork for much longer. As an independent artist, Ryan Bliss has created images, that immediately identifies as "Digital Blasphemy" even before you notice the signature logo. As a platform for his images, the website is a no-nonsense portal, that contains only what you need, and doesn't oversell anything. I have nothing but praise for Digital Blasphemy, and no other artwork has been on my desktop backgrounds since registering.

Digital Blasphemy has been creating awesome digital art for decades. A few years ago, my wife presented me with a lifetime membership, which I feel has been well-earned multiple times over, even if he stopped making art today. I look forward to all he will create in the future.

I have been a digital blasphemy supporter since 1997.
The art work has always been fantastic.
It has also been interesting to get the background information on what programs were used to render the art as well as a glimpse into Ryan’s personal life.
I have never had an issue with the site and would highly recommend it to everyone.
