Hi iv just moved into plot 5 bungerlow and I must say Vicky,Doug and mark site manager have been very helpful and I very pleased with the service so far . I’m waiting on a few jobs to be sorted that was picked up on my snagging but overall I’m very impressed so far Thankyou team Ann brown

We bought 2 sets of drawers from the Cobble bedroom collection from our local retailer in Essex, not cheap either, well over £1500 spent in 2023 within 9 months noticed the tops were splitting across where the joins were. The retailer was contacted and after some time the company eventually replaced the units. The first replacements had exactly the same faults and went back, eventually the third replacements came one was okay and remains okay but one has developed exactly the same fault. The retailer is in contact with this company but we have heard nothing from them and can only assume they are avoiding this problem and hoping we will go away. This is not what I expected from a British company who allegedly pride themselves on quality, maybe we should have gone to Ikea at least they accept responsibility for substandard quality. I'll bet that retail outlet is full of seconds!!
A real shame as we expected this to last a lifetime not 6 months and I suspect the retailer will have second thoughts about dealing with this manufacturer.
Update - The company have eventually decided to replace both units but not with the same range. This has been particularly time consuming and of some cost to the independent retailer and I question why they were still selling sub standard furniture in the first place. A further update will be done if there is a problem with the replacement.

Unfriendly staff. Went to the store last week and asked for help with a mattress. A member of staff came over and had obviously not learnt how to smile. I said I was willing to buy the £630 mattress if he gave me free delivery. I was met with a definite "no". Not given any reason why, just "no" no smiles, nothing! So I just left. Went home and bought the same mattress online for £40 cheaper with free delivery. I am furnishing a new house and would have been buying furniture in the next couple of weeks also but wont be going again. We are told we should shop local!!

I have waited over a month since the Christmas break to hopefully get a reply from a manager but nothing.
My service I received has been utterly shocking from beginning to end. Three errors with my purchases of over £700. I even had to pay an extra £20 for a replacement bench for something that was an internal error.
I had one phone call with Steve ( a manager ) but all he could say was sorry and we hope it won’t happen for anyone in the future…. That’s great but what about this customer you have completely messed around.

It’s so sad for what is nice furniture ( if you can wait for all the incorrect orders and constantly getting no where).

I would like to just point out that Chloe and the delivery guys are so lovely and understanding, they are a credit to your company. The owner of the company didn’t want to know nor would they allow any details to be given out so I could speak to them.
I did ask for complaint routes but wasn’t given any hence writing here.
Would not recommend!!

Excellent service from start to finish. Steve was a great help on the day and when I charged my order the next day, there was no fuss. Delivery men were amazing, helpful, friendly and polite. Very good quality furniture. Will definitely use them again.

We ordered 3 sofas after lots of help from Devonshire sofas. They were very helpful and friendly. We are so pleased with the look and quality of the sofas. What we didn't see in the show room was how beautiful the shape of the sides of the sofas were, so elegant. We will definitely shop here again an again.

Fabulous! I would highly recommend this Company. Where to start. My wife actually made an online purchase through one of their stockist, who shall remain nameless (until she gets her refund!). Sadly they could not fulfil the order as stated on their website. Since we had a teenager living on his old mattress on the floor, we decided to look into ordering direct and hiring a van to collect. The saving from buying direct paid for the van and fuel!
Buying was simple over the phone and the next day off I went on a 400 mile trip to collect. I already knew that one item was not in stock - but Magda was an absolute star and allowed me to purchase the 2 out of stock items that were on display. Everyone, and I mean everyone, I dealt with were helpful and friendly - even to the point of expertly loading the van for me.
The furniture is excellent - so good I purchased some additional items on the day to refurbish another bedroom.
Yes, it was a long day (motorway closures and accidents), but we got the furniture we wanted, when we wanted - and saved a bit of cash in the process.
I would encourage more people to think about ordering and collecting. You might even get to the beach. I didn't, sadly.

Although the quality is good i was not impressed with the aftercare service. Had to change a unit and was charged a price increase less than 48 hours after stock was delivered. I had already agreed to pay the restocking charge to swap it and I had spent thousands.

Purchased a large Wardrobe and then returned for Hall table and stool, Our 9th purchase from this company. The sales personal Magda and Cloe were excellent and could not do enough to sort our requirements The wardrobe we had delivered and fitted, the fitters were quick and efficient.

Absolutely first class customer service, really lovely helpful staff. A beautiful range of furniture at some really terrific prices. Devonshire Living will be my first port of call for furniture from now on. No hesitation in highly recommending them.

We go to the Devonshire Living showroom in Bideford regularly for inspiration. We are in the process of moving house, we were able to chose from the showroom at our leisure and we are never under any pressure to buy. Their products are hand crafted, they are great value and they even have an area upstairs in their showroom for the slight seconds which really are only slight seconds! Great products and friendly staff who are only too pleased to help you chose or arrange delivery, I would recommend Devonshire Living to anyone.

Devonshire Pine gave me a wonderful service from start to finish and I would recommend them to anyone. The showroom staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I bought a bookcase which is very well made and beautifully finished. I also paid for delivery and when it arrived, it was very well packaged and the drivers carried it upstairs as requested. I will return to the Bideford shop in future.
