I am writing to formally express my profound disappointment and serious concerns regarding the services, or rather the lack thereof, provided by Destination Beauty. My commitment to pursuing medical procedures with this organization involved significant international travel from the United States to Thailand. This decision was made based on prior explicit medical clearance from my primary care physician at home and after a comprehensive review of my submitted health metrics, including my precise weight, which were fully communicated and acknowledged by destination beauty team in advance.

Upon my arrival in Thailand, I was unexpectedly informed that my Body Mass Index (BMI) was deemed too high, leading to the unilateral cancellation of my pre-approved procedures. Instead of the agreed-upon treatments, I was offered an entirely different intervention in the form of weight loss surgery. This last-minute reversal, after all pre-travel preparations and expenses had been incurred, represents a significant deviation from our established agreement and previous assurances. The situation was further exacerbated by the notable absence of a direct consultation with the operating surgeon prior to this critical decision, which I consider a fundamental requirement for informed medical consent and responsible practice.

This sequence of events has regrettably given me the strong impression of a misleading change in service provision, undermining the trust I had placed in this organization and rendering my extensive travel commitments purposeless with respect to Destination Beauty.

While I subsequently secured alternative and very professional medical care team with Bangkok Lotus Surgical and Dental Care, my interactions with Destination Beauty have continued to be problematic. Despite my diligent efforts to resolve the financial implications of this cancellation, Destination Beauty has been unduly delaying the processing of my refund, which has now been outstanding for a period exceeding three weeks.

Based on this deeply unsatisfactory experience—encompassing inconsistent pre-approval processes, the abrupt cancellation of agreed-upon procedures, the lack of essential direct medical consultation, and the subsequent prolonged delay in refund processing—I feel it is my responsibility to strongly caution prospective clients regarding the operational practices and professional integrity demonstrated by Destination beauty

Update: I received a refund from the deposit I made for my 10 day 2 bedroom hotel stay plus 3 family members/breakfast etc who came for support. The tests the Destination Beauty did (I was never given a breakdown of needed test cost or why the tests were being performed) this all was taken out of my hotel deposit. Seems a little odd to me since I was told the hotel, hospital, surgeon were all separate.
I’m grateful to have found a reputable surgeon and staff who has treated me so amazingly. Upfront pricing, no hidden fees or motives to get me to commit to another surgery.

I felt safe the whole time my experience was amazing, obviously having major surgery it's sore but the nurses are there ready to help.
The hotel was great and I enjoyed meeting others on the same journey you didn't ever feel alone

I have been 3 times for multiple surgeries , 2022, 2023 and 2025 had Dr K and Dr Ring, they both did amazing work. You will be very well looked after.

Dr Angkana was my surgeon for tummy, breast and arm surgery. She did a amazing job. Her work is incredible. My scars are pencil thin and already starting to fade (day 11 post op). She was friendly and caring and went above and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered. The ENTIRE nurse team were incredible. I have never felt so cared for and looked after while in hopsital. The nurses made me feel so special and always available to help me when I needed them. Just WOW! I had the very best experience with Destination Beauty for my skin removal surgeries. I had been wanting to do these surgeries for years and quietly watched from the side lines as others got their surgeries. From the moment I made my first enquiry I was supported and treated with care. I actually knew I would be in safe hands as they have an entire team of dedicated professionals - from board certified surgeons, nurses, service teams, hotel clinic, transfers.... and not to mention the awesome daily breakfast :) I am absolutely stoked with my results!! All my loose, excess skin is gone and I actually feel confident in my own skin for the first time in my adult life. I am so glad I chose them. I paid a third of the price I was quoted in Australia, and they had the best after care on offer. From the very first moment I plucked up the courage to send in my enquiry I have been amazed at the level of support I’ve received. I’ve never felt like a “number” in an organisation, but from from the first contact, I’ve working closely with my key contact Prame who is one of the most patient ladies I’ve known with the number of questions I’ve had or change of procedure etc.

I have had 2 of the truly remarkable members of the surgical team undertake my transformation, Dr Angkana on my first visit and Dr Rungkit (Dr Ring) on my second trip.

During my consultations we discussed the evaluation that I received prior to arriving and if needed re-evaluate if needed. Though whole process was streamlined but not rushed if had further questions. At no time during the initial evaluation or the consultation did I feel pressured to accept every recommendation or add additional procedures and the final decision was still left down to me, there was absolutely no sale pitching involved.

I have experienced hospital stays in my own county (but not for surgery) and I was blown away at the vast difference.

From the surgeons, nurses, hospital personal & the in hospital DB team cared about me & whenever I needed a bit more assistance and I had to push the buzzer, it was never any trouble (I was even more surprised at how quickly the buzzer was answered).

The nursing staff were brilliant updating my surgeons with photos of mywound healing & general wellbeing so when Dr Ring & Dr Angkana did their ward rounds it never felt rushed and allowed time for questions, additional wound check, discussion about pain levels etc.

Then on my second trip Dr Ring, Nurse Aom, Nurse Cathy, the Ward 10 team & Amy (as well as others behind the scenes I’m certain) all went above & beyond with their care, compassion & kindness when I found myself in the position of needing to be readmitted into hospital after my body reacted to a fluid drain.

As my admission was via A&E and therefore under the medical care of the A&E doctor, I was admitted back to the DB ward & Dr Ring still saw me most days & if I didn’t see him, I spoke to him on the phone. Though I’ve been grateful for all the care I received during my surgeries, I was beyond grateful for everything Dr Ring, Nurse Aom and the whole team did when I had to have further hospital care. I know from other DB patients the care provided isn’t just unique to me, but it sure felt like it.

For me personally, I also valued the support services the DB team offered at the hotel from the clinic services held onsite by Nurse Aom & Nurse Cathy, l as it afforded me the peace of mind my wounds were healing as they should be post hospital discharge to the phone services when assistance was needed especially on non clinic days.

The whole experience from start to finish has been easy, straightforward & painless with Destination Beauty.

I've got nothing words to say besides if you wanted to be botched go to Destination beauty in bangkok.
I had Dr Ring he botched me from top to bottom if you like contact me and I'll show you on cam or photos.
The owner Martin takes your money and doesn't care after your done.
They shouldn't be shut down.
That company has destroyed my life.
I worked hard to make $47,000 to get botched.
Mid face life pins and needles and num bad scares.
Breast Implants gone under the boobs hand like bananas swings side to side.
Arms bad scares cut on the outside that everyone can see and num and plan.
Tummy tuck very bad scares with lumps.
Legs wide stitches look like train tracks pins and needles with pain. I was also Paralysed after surgery.
Please do not use Destination beauty.

There is so many of us that have been botched and it just continues.
We put our post up on fb and DB contacts the admin and they block us so now we have opened our own page so ppl can write the good and the bad and you won't be block.

Butchered, left with horrible scaring & an indent from emergency surgery because they removed my drains too early. Dismissed all of my medical concerns, when I returned home they didn’t even check on me despite sending me on a flight with an open hole in my stomach because they didn’t even stitch me tight enough after the emergency surgery. Didn’t even pack the wound.
I seen two major hospitals back here in Aus, needed daily dressings as the wounds under my boobs got infected same for my stomach, needed daily IV antibiotics, couldn’t shower due to the wounds & needing them changed daily ended up having a procedure here to remove internal stitches as that was stopping my stomach from healing when the plastic team did that here my stomach then healed but now it indents.

My boobs are uneven, not enough skin was taken during the “lift” nipples are too high & it’s horrible, there is so much skin under the implant they don’t look fake at all not even remotely. I’m now seeking an Australian doctor to fix my breast, due to them not doing what was paid for.

You tell them all of this and they don’t care, you get threatened and told they are making a report to Thai police. They must hate DB, because they are wasting police time for mistakes they made! You have bullied everyone and threatened them to take their reviews down, and now everyone’s coming back stronger as ever to spread the word! AVOID DB at all cost, you can claim this review isn’t a real patient like you do every other review but I have payment to your company, and threatening letters that prove I am real.

Please do your research. It’s an absolute farce of a company. If you pick a surgeon, you cannot know that’s who does your surgery. But please read stories on any platform possible that isn’t run by DB because DB only show the good stories. There are so many horror stories out there. 🤬🤬🤬

I travelled on my own from NZ to Bangkok to have surgery. As you can imagine I was quite nervous about the whole thing. The Destination Beauty team made it easy though from their communication prior to the operation, meeting me at the airport, taking me to my appointments and looking after my needs after the operation until it was time to take me to the airport for my return flight home. I have two friends flying over in September for surgery and another friend now considering it. Great value for money. I am very happy with the surgery results.

I felt genuinely taken care of from the moment I landed in Thailand to the moment I arrived back home. Dayana was incredibly attentive and thorough when discussing quote prices and procedures, and I appreciated not having to worry about lodging or transportation—it was all arranged for me. Dr. Ring was warm, kind, and very helpful during the consultation, giving honest feedback about my breast anatomy that helped me choose an implant that suited both my body frame and aesthetic goals. He had a bit of a challenge as he was revising a prior breast augmentation done in Tijuana, Mexico that left me with breast ptosis and nipple asymmetry . He's got great bedside manners; he listens to you and works together with you to deliver reasonable outcomes close to your expectations. I also stayed at Somerset Park, which is in a fantastic location surrounded by shops, restaurants, and close to an ATM, making it easy to get around and sightsee during recovery. It was my first time visiting Bangkok, and Destination Beauty helped introduce me to the incredibly kind and welcoming people of Thailand. Special thanks to Brey for showing up after my surgery with the most lovely bouquet of flowers, it really brightened up my day. Vivianne, Donut, thanks for helping me with paperwork. Also, the nurses are gentle and efficient, they take care of you. My dad is also considering getting a face-lift done sometime in the near future because of how good my experience was and the results speak to for themselves.

23 years ago I had a breast lift and augmentation in Australia. I was disappointed with this surgery immediately as the lift I felt wasn't done effectively, scarring was wide and I had no sensitivity in my nipples for two years. After 4 pregnancies and 23 years of living I decided to head to Thailand with Destination Beauty to have my old implants replaced with a smaller size and I needed a lift again. My DB rep Noon was very thorough and when I arrived in Thailand with my husband as a support person all DB staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel is amazing! I could not believe how thorough the pre operation testing was - bloods, urine, chest xray & ECG, that never happens in Australia! The hospital and nurses took much better care of me than occured post surgeries I have had in Australia at private hospitals as recently as last year. My surgeon was Dr K who spoke thoroughly with me about my surgery and we discussed options. I was very well informed. He answered many questions from my husband and I and took the time to discuss with us. Post surgery, I had no pain at all thanks to the fantastic care provided. Immediately post surgery I was aware that I had sensation in both nipples and that my old scarring had been significantly reduced. Recovery at the hospital was very comfortable thanks to a spacious room, fantastic food and kind staff. Once discharged after 3 days, we enjoyed beautiful buffet breakfast at the hotel and then explored Bangkok all day everyday before returning home after my 8 day check with Dr K. I would recommend being fit and healthy pre surgery, following all Dr advice and ensuring you regularly clean wounds as Bangkok is hot! I purchased two of the support bras from DB staff in the hospital and this was great as I was able to wash one each day and wear the other.

Divide and Rule.
I recently posted a review on this platform. From this review I know that Destination Beauty tried to have it removed behind the scenes.
Now DB say they do not reply to reviews of people who are not ‘real patients’. From this I assume I am an ‘unreal patient’.
Let me clarify: DB recommend a support person accompany the ‘real patient’ to assist them in with recovery in hospital and at the long stay hotel. This is an emotional and physically intense journey for the person concerned and for those who are there to help them emotionally and physically. The ‘unreal patients’ experience the journey, and in particular when things go wrong and DB and the hospital deflect, deny and do not reply to legal letters (letter demanding what should be given by law in terms of medical surgery reports).The ‘unreal patients’ provide a perspective that is different emotionally and witnessing what has physically happened. This is part of the process and very much part of the whole experience. DB get upset when a negative review is posted, in particular by an ‘unreal patient’ Hypocritical at best.

As per destination beauty response to my review, which is false information.

I have emailed, sent endless documents and pictures regarding my concerns and process post the surgery error made by Dr.Ring with no prevail.
Destination beauty only responded when attempting to make a review was all at own costs, and considering I had spent endless days hours and money on recovery surgeries per injury by Dr. Ring.
When I did try to make a review appointment the time slot did not work with my available time even though I was in Thailand at the time.
Many people try to post real review and per bully tactic Destination beauty will try to delete or fabricate a reply to save their reputation.
Destination beauty replied to my negative review, stating I have not participated in form of communication! Completely not true . Not to mention they were sent a legal letter from my lawyers and they didn't respond.
Also they will not allow your friend or partner or support person to write a review because they are not a patient. Yet are the people who also go through the process with you good or bad.

People wouldn't bother writing a negative review if it was not true, you would simply be happy and not bothered to further engage.

My experience at Destination Beauty was more than what I expected. From landing at Bangkok airport the friendly service I received from staff was exceptional and very professional and well organised.
I travelled alone and always felt safe.
The hotel was clean with very helpful staff, and had a beautiful buffet breakfast every morning, with Netflix supplied on TVs in rooms which made it easy to relax after surgery.
I had a full face, neck and chin lift and fat transfer with lipo under chin completed by lovely Dr NJ, without medical issues post surgery.
After talking to a female friend I had met who had a tummy tuck I decided to book further surgery and had tummy tuck and lipo and now my clothes fit so well around the middle I have gone from waist size 31 to 28 within a month.
The hospital stay was run by experienced nurses and I felt very comfortable relying on the nurses professional care to continue making me comfortable after surgery.
I highly recommend Destination Beauty if you are wanting to get surgery. It was a beautiful experience and I will definitely return.

It's a year and a half since my facelift and when I get depressed about how old I'm getting, (67) I look at the photos before my face procedure in November 2023 and think wow. So glad I did it. It's settled in nicely and I am still so happy I with the results. Dr NJ created a new face for me and I am forever grateful. I have finally got over the desire to repeat the experience as I'm scared of flying now, but if there was a boat to Bangkok from Brisbane, I'd be on it.
