I have a crown that recently had a little piece chip off toward the gumline, & I could feel it everytime I rubbed my tongue against the tooth. I went in to the dentist clinic that's through my work. Lousy clinic, you have to wait months just for 1 apt. Even though the insurance itself is good & pays for 95% of things, the clinic is terrible! Anyways, I told them about how I could feel something on my one tooth with my tongue. They did xrays & told me my "real tooth" underneath the crown was fractured/broken & that I would need an implant. I said; let me guess that's going to take 9 months? The dentist said; no actually about a year! My heart sank to the bottom of my stomach because I thought there's no way I can go through a year long process waiting to have an implant & then have an empty space there/or a cosmetic piece with a fake tooth that I would have to put in & take out! I knew my confidence would sink to an all time low! So, I went on a mission to find a dental clinic that does either "same day" implant or an implant that wouldn't take a year, as it would through my lousy dental office! I had seen an ad come up on my Facebook page with Dr. T & how he does "same day" dental implants. Thank goodness for ads! I called their office & scheduled a consultation with Dr. T to see if that would be a possibility for me. They scheduled me my consultation literally the very next day after speaking with their office. I went in on my consultation & they took a full scan of my whole mouth to see all of my teeth, super fancy! I am very leery about dentists because of very bad past experiences, I typically get a feel of the dentist vibe & if I do not feel positive vibes from the get go I will not stay with that dentist! I feel as though I really have to trust the person/dentist because it's kind of a big deal, they're working in my mouth which is a private part of my body. Just like if you went to a gynecologist office, that's a private thing & so you really have to feel like you trust the person/doctor. Immediately, upon meeting Dr. T, I felt comfortable! He puts off great, friendly vibes! Dr. T ended up looking at my xray they took, & did confirm that he saw the fracture of my real tooth underneath of that crown & told me it shouldn't be a problem to do a "same day" implant. That literally saved my broken little heart & made me VERY happy! I paid in full the very day of my consultation for the implant because there was no way I was waiting a year, or going with a missing tooth for months. They scheduled me their next available apt to get my implant which was only a few days after my consultation. I went in to have my "same day" implant & WOW I'm truly IMPRESSED! From the moment I came in, the assistant was very kind, accommodating towards me & made me feel comfortable! Dr. T was phenominal through the entire procedure. I felt literally NO pain!! They had me pain free & super comfortable. I left the office with by broken tooth/crown gone, & a new temporary tooth in it's place. I cannot wait until I can get my permanent tooth seated in just a few months. If you need any implants, do NOT waste your time or money anywhere else. Go to Denovo!! You will not be dissapointed! I believe Dr T operates with the highest level of intregrity, humility, honesty, & compassion & that's what sets him apart from other Drs. Highly recommend!
